I try to avoid making OP characters,, unsure if I failed with that or not usually if i see someone being a Mary Sue in the RP then I power play too and give their character no time to react. if they complain, then they're getting a taste of their own medicine |

i remember one time I thought I was gonna have a chill dragon rp, but they pulled out their like 100,000,000,000,000 pound character and they wanted to inflate my character and I noped out real quick

But,, balance that out with a partner who also has OP characters and boom, time for some planet-destroying fight scenes.

I feel like I belong here. My rp pet peeve is characters that are definitely conventionally attractive but either deny it, don't realize it, or think they're just hideous because omg heterochromia or some other minor trait like brown hair or some shit is so freakishly ugly. Meanwhile making every other character in a five mile radius instantly attracted to them/treat them differently because uh yeah, they're pretty. |

Hmm. I had a character who didn't like her freckles, thinking they were a flaw in her beauty due to the people around her when she was growing up, treating them as something distasteful. And yeah, she suffered from vanity. She was fond of everything else about her, but her freckles. I suppose that's kind of like this, but she didn't think she was freakishly ugly even with the freckles, or hideous or anything of that sort. Far from that. And would be offended if anyone else called her as such. |
