Stronk - Gretta is a mix of two powerhouse breeds. She clocks in at a whopping 74 pounds. Speed - Despite her large size, Gretta can run up to 35 miles per hour. Protective - Being a more family-oriented dog, Gretta can become quite territorial, which often does more harm than good. Sheltered- This is her first year alone during the flooding. She has no idea how cruel the world can be. Brash - She is very impulsive and dives into situations with little to no thought. Unfocused - She is forgetful, and often can't focus, especially when it's most needed Design Notes (Optional): Gretta is an imposing figure, towering over most dogs due to her impressive size. She inherits her Chow-Chow and Shepherd lineage, resulting in a robust and muscular build. Gretta's eyes are a striking and captivating feature. They hold a rich, coppery hue that beautifully contrasts against the dark backdrop of her fur. When sunlight filters through, her eyes take on an amber-like glow, radiating warmth and intelligence. Their expressive nature makes it easy to discern her emotions and intentions. One of Gretta's most distinctive features is her dense, downy fur, which gives her an even more substantial appearance. Her coat is thick, providing insulation and protection in colder climates or rugged environments. The fur stands out with its luscious texture, appearing almost like a fluffy cloud surrounding her majestic form. It is particularly noticeable around her neck, forming an impressive mane that exudes an aura of regality.

Gretta is known for her bold and fearless demeanor. She charges headfirst into situations, unafraid to take risks and confront challenges with confidence. She forms strong bonds with her companions and will go to great lengths to protect and support them. Her loyalty extends beyond her immediate family. Gretta values her freedom and independence. Background/History (Optional):
As a young pup, Gretta reveled in the attention and love she received from her human family. She was the epitome of a happy and contented pet, spending her days exploring the backyard, playing fetch, and curling up for cozy naps by the fireplace. Life seemed perfect, and Gretta couldn't have asked for more. However, fate had a different plan in store for her. Due to unforeseen circumstances, her family faced significant challenges and could no longer care for her. With heavy hearts, they made the heart-wrenching decision to surrender Gretta to a local shelter, hoping that she would find a new and loving home. Despite the shelter's efforts to find Gretta a forever home, days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. The spirited pup found herself facing the harsh realities of life as a stray dog. Left to fend for herself, Gretta relied on her instincts and resilient nature to survive on the streets. However, she has no idea what she is doing, and she is surviving on instinct alone.
Roleplay Example:
Gretta strolled through the quiet streets of the city under the cloak of darkness. Her thick, fluffy coat provided warmth against the cool night air, while her keen senses heightened her awareness of every sound and scent in her surroundings. The city, normally bustling with activity during the day, now lay still and deserted. As she padded along the shadowy sidewalks, Gretta's ears perked up, catching the distant echo of a faint rustling noise. Intrigued, she directed her steps toward the source, her paws silently navigating the concrete jungle. The scent of something tantalizing filled her nostrils, an elusive aroma that hinted at adventure and mystery.
Without weighing the possibilities, she began following the scent, snuffling in the delicious smell. Her ears perked and her eyes widened in excitement. She had already eaten that day, but food was food! Finally, she came across the source of the scent. It was an opened can of odd-looking pellets. Without much thought, Gretta stuck her muzzle in, snarfing down the food.. Suddenly, a hiss sounded behind her. She whipped around to see two, very irritated-looking cats. Their backs arched as they glared at her with their beady. One of them lunged forwards, swiping at her nose. Gretta yelped, turning around with her tail tucked between her legs. Oops, perhaps she should've thought more before she approached..

Unfamiliarity with Stray Life - Gretta's transition from a beloved pet to a stray has left her unfamiliar with the intricacies of stray life. Simple tasks like finding food and shelter can be a challenge for her. Her lack of street knowledge often leads to comical situations as she fumbles her way through the everyday routines of stray dogs. |

He looks for females mostly, but is open to other relationships, as long as its not a cat or human. ~Age~ 2 ~Dog Breed~ Pure-bred German Shepherd ~Role~ Stray ~Appearance~ He looks like a black shadow, but is a 100% pure-bred. His lines are long, and go back to 1990. He is a lean, mean, muscle machine. He is 3 feet long, and 3 and a half feet tall, and weighs 120 Lbs. Under his right eye is a scar, wrapping itself from the side of his right cheek, all the way down to his chest. He got the scar in a fight. He ultimately won, but with a price to his beautiful face. His legs and body boast muscles, making his skin and fur ripple like a pond. ~Strengths~ + Swimming + Running + Agility + Flexability ~Weaknesses~ + Small spaces + Humans + Mountains + Cars + Cardboard boxes (He was thrown out in one) ~Personality~ He is usually short tempered, but calm and collected when needed. He is a matural leader, but likes to live alone. He mostly keeps to himself, not letting other people in. He might change, with a special someone, but for now, he is a loner in a pack of strays. To be discovered more in the RP ~Background~ He was kicked out of his house as a pup, though to be the runt, but quickly became bigger and stronger than his siblings. He didn't want to stay and beg to live there again, so he ran to the streets, only allowing other dogs to come near, and very few, at that. ~Roleplay Example~

Personality: He is a gentle, sweet and friendly and he is protective of most things. But once you get to know him then you just maybe might like Blu but he sometimes wants to be alone.
Background/History (Optional): He was born along with his siblings when Blu was old enough he and his brothers and sisters were adopted to different families. All of his siblings got adopted but him so he waited for his new person to come. But eventually no one showed up and he really dislikes of waiting so he climbed out of the box and headed down the sidewalk. As he grow up in the streets without his siblings and wonders how are they're doing with their new owner's but he soon realized that being a Stray is more fun then being pampered with.
Roleplay Example: From a 1x1 roleplay Bloom was asleep from a long day including her pups. Until she feel's Reika nipping her tail. As she swings it back and forth. Meanwhile Valtor catches the scent of food he follows it seeing a fawn deer and a mother deer he needs to get the mother deer away from her fawn so he can make the kill. Even though he was in wolf territory but he didn't care once he gets the fawn and brings it back to his den. But what he really wants is to not be alone. And he needs another lone wolf to keep him company or perhaps a wolf from a pack. His had a idea in his head. "Maybe I can ask that female to help me out with something but how?" He thought.

Dog Breed: Borzoi, it's speculated there may also be Silken Windhound, but there isn't.
Stray/Pet/Descendant: Pet
Design Notes: 30in at the shoulder and carrying himself on slender, almost dainty legs, Fahren is the staple sighthound. Athletic and built for endurance. With a brindled gunmetal coat, this dog moves like a bullet and always appears posed for the click of the trigger. Feathery and well-groomed fur adorns his underside and tail, thickening into a mane-like consistency over his chest and throat. He's a well-trimmed canine and his glossy coat is a dead giveaway to his domestication.
Personality: Like many sighthounds, Fahren can come across as skittish and shy. Head held low, tail always one flick from between his legs, he's nervous around strangers and takes quite some time to warm up to new dogs. Though exceptionally sweet-natured, he is introverted first and foremost. A big fan of his alone time, he prefers spending time with just one other person or dog and finds large groups rather exhausting.
If you manage to worm your way past a few layers of introversion, you're met with a rather eccentric and, to put it bluntly, a weird canid. His outlook on the world around him can only be described as bizarre. Nothing intrigues this dog more than the wider world and the meaning of life, well, other than chasing things that is, he is a borzoi after all.
Despite his meek demeanour, Fahren becomes a bit of an anarchist under instruction or hierarchy and has never fit well into organised groups. He's no leader but he's certainly no follower either and is committed in his entirety to his own path.
Strengths/Weaknesses Description:
Speed- A borzoi is a borzoi. Among the fastest dog breeds in the world, Fahren can max out at 35mph.
Stamina- Bred to hunt down wolves, his stamina is near unmatched and boy does this dog like to run.
Quick thinking- Due to his out-of-the-box thoughts, he tackles life with a creative approach and is always ready to come up with new solutions to unique problems.
Selfish- Not exactly recognised as a team player, Fahren will usually think of himself first before strangers. He's not outwardly generous unless it's to people he knows or deems worthy.
Eccentric- He's not everyone's cup of tea.
Nervy- Lacking confidence in new situations, Fahren is prone to hesitating at the worst moment.
Background- An imported dog from the far reaches of Russia, he's the standard borzoi and lives an incredibly happy domesticated life. An only dog in his household, he enjoys his personal space and time out with his owner, a single woman in her 50s. During the day whilst she works, Fahren spends the majority of his time out wandering the city, notably up in the fields or down on the beach - most likely looking for things he can chase. Like clockwork, he makes his way back home to his comfortable heated house at around 9pm each evening as this is when his owner returns home. |
