Trembling Mountains High in the peaks of the mountains cats hunted the prey and slept in the shallow caves or beneath the pine trees. They lived alone or in small groups. The mountains where a peaceful place to live except for the few eagles or perhaps a fox that soon left unless wanting to feel the cats sharp claws. Then a strange creature came, it was like them except it was much bigger than the cats. It has tan fur and claws and teeth sharper and bigger than even an eagle's talons. The cats didn't know what to make of it they knew that they couldn't fight it. The cats left the creature alone and warily stayed as far away as they could from it. That was until cats started going missing. At first it was the lone cats then small groups of two or three. Cats reported seeing large marks in rocks like the scratches left on trees but bigger and deeper. The once abundant prey is now becoming scarce. The now few loners grouped up, small groups grew bigger until the few cats left were in one group. The cats knew that they couldn't live here anymore, maybe when there used to be lots of cats they could have drove the creature away but now the cats were to few and to weak to even hope to drive out the creature. The cats decided to leave at night when the moon was a thin crescent in the sky and the last daylight was swallowed up by the night. ----------------- Roleplay thread: coming soon |

leaders These cats are the most respected cats in the group. They are considered the leaders because all the other days look up to them. They are at least 8 years old. The cats decide what will happen in a council but all cats in the group except kittens can help decide. mothers The cats that have kittens or are careing for kittens. These cats usually get prey first or second. They rarely go hunting or guard. kittens kittens are cats that are below six months old. The younger kittens don't fully understand what is happening. The kittens that are old enough to eat solid prey (2.5 months) get food first. Elders These cats are above 7 years old and are well respected within the group. cats that are younger then 7 can become elders of they are permanently injured but usually don't have much respect instead they don't hunt or guard like the other elders. Members regular cats are in charge of hunting and guarding. They are often between the ages of 2 and 6 years old. Young cats Young cats are often between the ages of 6 months and 2 years. They are cats that are trained by the older cats each young cat has a main mentor that isn't it's parent or caretaker but all cats help in the training. Each cat becomes a member at different ages it depends of how fast they learn to hunt, fight and guard. |

Rules - all regular Roleplay rules apply - In this roleplay cats die between 10-12 years old - Cats don't have to be fully realistic except for base colors. - Each strength has to have a weakness - A young cat will be assigned a mentor when the roleplay starts. - Orphaned kittens are allowed but kittens under 5 months must have a caretaker. - Prey is hard to find and catch you can't catch everything. - In fights with foxes and eagles you can't get every hit unless in a large group you can't escape uninjured. - Try to post in at least 3 sentences. - The max amount of characters in 3 for now - Reservations last for 48 hours - In 'other' put an interesting fact ( optional) - Tell me if I'm missing anything ( rules that would help run this smoother, details, ect) PM me. |
