.CURIOSITY.
It's been a few years since a fatal illness has wreaked havoc upon the nation, millions and millions of people dying daily. Populations were increasingly low, and the cities seemed to be like a still painting, locked away in time. Everyone was terrified and locked away in bunkers and houses, trying to seal away every part of the outside world. Oddly enough, the only creature that wasnt contracting the illness were canines. Cats, fish, wild animals, everything else.. died.

The few scientists that survived conducted an experiment, mixing canine and human DNA, trying to find a way to stop the rapid decline in populations.

Those given the 'vaccine' experienced odd side effects, seeming to be given canine traits, abilities, or limbs- most commonly being ears or tails, loyal and obedient personality changes, or even speed and agility depending on the kind of canine. In rare cases, some even had size decreases or full-body transformation.

They were immune to the illness, and now everyone wanted to get their hands on one, as one can provide multiple doses from blood, but.. it costs their life when doing so.

Now, they banded together, desperately running from what could very likely be death.
