Appearance

Ari is a very small woman. Like, actually tiny. She stands at the height of 4’10”, and weighs in at maybe 90 pounds. It is an unfortunate combination for someone who wants to be taken seriously and viewed as capable and intimidating. But, with her delicate frame and minimal muscle bulk, intimidating is not a word anyone would rightly use to describe her.

Ari’s heritage is Mediterranean, primarily Italian as her parents were first generation Italian immigrants. Naturally, she very much carries the look, with the gorgeously sunkissed olive skin, dark eyes, and defined features. Her face is a touch on the longer side, with beautifully defined cheekbones, a sharp jawline, and a pointed chin. Her cheekbones and nose are absolutely covered in freckles, which are dotted in smaller quantities across the rest of her body as well from time spent in the sun.

Her lips are on the fuller side, with a natural downturned shape and defined cupid’s bow. The bottom lip is a bit larger than the top, with their natural down turning corners giving her this sort of feisty, always a little angry look. This is complimented by the arch of her dark brows, which give a certain definition to her face. Beneath these are stunningly gorgeous dark eyes. They are large and upturned, in a warm acorn brown that almost always seems to be watching those around her. Her eyes are framed by fairly thick lashes, and she is overall quite beautiful. She does not often use makeup, preferring to simply care for her skin and leave her look natural, and, well, she doesn’t particularly need it.

Framing her face is shoulder-length, thick hair. She has it cut in a messy, layered short style, with bangs that seem to almost always be in her eyes and the layers giving a slight bit of fluff and volume to the look which straight hair tends to lack. She doesn’t appear to style it, as it always has that slightly messy finger-combed look, which tracks fully with the fact that she is known to run her hands through it quite frequently. Both her hair and skin are quite soft, thanks primarily to a rather extensive and expensive skin and hair care routine she adamantly refuses to admit to using. Her skin is not perfectly flawless, however, as she does have a scar through her right eyebrow and one on the left side of her jaw, as well as a couple dotted across her body.

Ari’s body type is a rather petite pear shape. She has hips slightly wider than her shoulders, and tends to carry the vast majority of her weight in her hips and thighs. She is fairly flat-chested, not that she seems to care, and overall her upper body is very petite. Her hands are slender and her arms are thin, with only a small amount of muscle definition to them, and, while she is stronger than she looks, that is saying very little.

Her voice, smooth and surprisingly low for someone so small, and is quite pleasant to listen to, although it tends to be much quieter than she would like, prompting her to yell at times in an attempt to be heard.

Personality

‘Little Firecracker’ is a term that has been used to describe Ariana many times. She has a very hot temper, and is known to get very loud when someone pisses her off. Because of this, she is quite snarky and tends to pick fights easily. She has a sharp tongue, and tends to spit a variety of insults when she’s angry enough. She can be a bit on the vicious side and holds grudges strongly, though she is even easier to anger if someone insults one of her friends.

Even if she isn’t angry, she is known to be sassy and sarcastic. She likes to tease and joke with people, particularly those she takes a liking to. Shit-talking is something of a love language for her, although it is only really intended playfully in this context. With people she likes, this is usually paired with a playful smile and often followed by praise, affection, and other indications of her adoration.

With those she does take a liking to, she is incredibly loyal, and she is the first person to get into a fight over someone important to her. With friends, she is quite affectionate, and she likes to be close by. She is quite selective on her friends, due to some trust issues, but those who become friends can take comfort in knowing they have that title for life.

As she is a techie, Ariana is, expectedly, quite clever. She is extremely talented with technology, and tends to spend a lot of her time working with it. She also enjoys working on anything technology-based, such as upgrading her computer, working on anything mechanical she can find, or anything else similar. She finds the methodical work of repair and machine work to be calming and enjoyable when she is left to herself.

In addition to her work with technology, she’s known to have a great fondness for art and music. She paints just about anything she can, including her pc tower and her laptop case, as well as just about any other paintable surface. She loves anything artistic, and is also known to play a couple instruments, as well as enjoy dancing and parties.

Ability

Fire and heat manipulation. She cannot create fire herself, but she can manipulate preexisting flames and cause them to spread. Additionally, she is not immune to the damage of her fire, although she is somewhat more resistant to heat than the average person. Think, being comfortable on a 90 degree day while others are sitting in pools or in front of fans. She can create heat by herself, and she does tend to be very warm most of the time. Because she cannot create fires out of nothing, she is known to carry a lighter as something to start from.

Ari’s strengths lie primarily in her intelligence, and skills such as programming and mechanical work.

Her weaknesses are her temper, her struggles with socializing, and her lack of significant physical strength.
