Bird Species: Indian Peafowl

Appearance:

Pavo is a well sized avian, standing at around 5’9”. His skin is considered to be a deep amara tone and looks to be very smooth. He is rather lean and stocky, lacking his physical strength but still keeping a rather strong posture. When he walks, he oft struts like the species he is connected to. His hair is a shimmering black - often described to be iridescent. His hair is kept in a pompadour fade style and mimics the head feathers of a peacock. Speaking of these feathers, they can be seen jutting out the back of his head after his hair ends. They shimmer like royal jewels on a crown dawning his head. His face is lined with light stubble, though not much has come in. His eyes are a beautiful brown that complements his feathers well.

The avian's wings are exactly like those of an actual peacock - shifting to a speckled orange-tan, to blue-faded-black, and then to a darker, more orange tan. His back and neck are also lined with feathers - those on his neck being the famous peacock blue and the feathers along his back being the infamous peafowl green. The feathers along his back connect to his glorious peacock tail. His tail peaks a few inches above his head and spreads a good few feet to the side of him. When dragged, this tail flows a solid ten feet behind him.

The peacock man enjoys wearing fancy and colorful clothing. Though, the colors he wears are never bright. Rather, they consist of blues, purples, and greens. If there were ever a fashion contest for the avians, this man would be a strong contestant. He knows how to put together an amazing outfit without even touching any sort of jewelry or makeup. He rarely wears anything but dress shoes or fancy boots. His favorite thing to wear, however, are feathery and/or fluffy scarfs.

Pavo is a very cocky and prideful avian. He holds a boatload of confidence, appearing as if he believes that he can do anything if he just puts his mind to it. He also prides himself on a “perfect” appearance, taking good care of his glorious feathers. In his mind, he is the most beautiful avian to ever exist; thus, he must keep his feathers in pristine condition. If insulted, the avian will get quite offensive, attempting to fire his own insult back. Though, he never has in a meaningful way - always stumbling over his words and apologizing afterwards for anything he may have done wrong.

By nature, the peafowl avian is rather flirty. He often attempts to show off his “impressive” feats - namely his well taken care of feathers. When flirting, he will spread out his feathers to try and stun whoever he is flirting with. From his experience, however, this has yet to work. Most just walk off, scoffing. Other times, he will bring back some sort of shiny object - gloating about how he’s the best avian when it comes to finding such objects. This still leads to nowhere for him.

If an avian gets rather upset with his behavior - or is upset in general - the “stylish” avian has been known to be rather gentle and kind towards them. He’ll apologize profusely - always assuming that he was the one to screw things up - and give plenty of comforting hugs and words.

The male avian is known to be very protective of those he cares for, even if he has not true physical strength. His best form of protection is taking blame or even stepping into any arguments that may arise. He will always do his best to keep his loved ones happy, even going so far as to make them laugh at his expense. He will also treat them like royalty, showering them in affection and gifts.

Pavo, despite being prideful and cocky, is quite self conscious. He frets over all his actions, wondering if he did the right thing or pushed another avian too far. If he does something wrong, he will be freaking out internally - questioning his intelligence. Of course, this trait leads to him constantly questioning his looks, ensuring that not a single feather is out of place.

Background:

Pavo grew up being the youngest of 12 children - most of which were half siblings. He lived in a family group of peacock avians that was made up of many females and one male - his father. Him and his siblings were all treated well by their parents and got along well. Sometime in his early years, his father was overthrown and was replaced by another avian. The years after that were rough, but not terribly unbearable. Though, the new male had treated the young boys terribly. At the age of 18, Pavo left the group in hopes of finding a better flock to live with. When the calling started, the avian found himself to be more at peace with less self doubts filling his head. He looks forward to showing off his feathers to the Bird Mother to seek her approval.

Bird Species: Steller's Sea Eagle
Appearance (Picture optional): Rowan has a porcelain skin tone and a tall, leanly muscled build. He stands at a good 7'0", with a long 18 foot wingspan to go with his height. He has bright copper hair that is swept across his forehead from left to right, with small black and white feathers mixed in, and freckles splashed across his nose and cheeks. His eyes are a strange orange/yellow color, amber if you will. He has a long scar going from just above his left eyebrow to just to the right side of his chin. His wings are long,strong, and broad, mostly black with a white stripe going across the top of each wing. He also has long white tail feathers on his lower back, and some black feathers that sprout up on his shoulders.
Personality: Rowan can be a bit cold sometimes to those he's not as familiar with due to a natural wariness to new people. Around those he cares for, however, he can be warmer. He's usually pretty sarcastic and blunt. He shows a tender side as well, though, sometimes. A side that cares and will always be there if you need someone to talk to, and will be fiercely loyal and protective to loved ones.

Gender and/or Pronouns: Female (she/her)
Age: 16
Bird Species: Snowy Owl
Appearance (Picture optional): Hope has a porcelain skin tone with a long 16 foot wingspan, and she stands at around 5'10", tall for most average women. She has pale freckles across her face, arms, and a few on her neck. Her hair is long, slightly curly, with some speckled black and white feathers growing among the reddish light brown. Her eyes are a sharp yellow hue. Her wings are a brilliant white with black spots and streaks, and she has long black and white tail feathers on her lower back, and some feathers popping up on her shoulders.
Personality: She is actually usually pretty warm and inviting to new people, but can pick up on social cues fairly easily and will act accordingly. She can be wary around people she has a bad past with, which is more than she'd like to admit. She has a hard time letting go of things others have done and can hold grudges until the sun freezes over. She is fiercely loyal and protective of those she loves. She can have serious anger issues, especially if anyone hurts or insults she or her loved ones.
