Rai has an interesting coat. It appears an almost rusty color with prominent red undertones. Her chin, chest, belly, and the insides of her legs all gradient to more of a cream color. Her spots are dark and prominent, and she has more russet striping down the outsides of her legs and along her tail.

Her big doe eyes are a deep brown, alight with an almost constant, subtle glint that gives off the impression that something has piqued her curiosity. Large eyes, gigantic paws, and ears too big for her head give her the look of a slightly younger cub, though she is of an average size for her age.

Rai takes more after her dam in body composition. She is not slender, but she is not bulky either. This cub sits about smack dab in the middle and is growing in a way that promises a lioness of considerable strength and normal agility.

As she grows older, her coat will turn to a slightly darker version of her father's.

Personality

Rai is the quiet sibling. She is certainly not a pushover, but she doesn't put herself out in the fray as much as her sister. She is one to stick to the side and watch events transpire. Rai has confidence, but it has significantly deflated due to recent events, and she has become even more reserved than she already was.

At first meeting, Rai does not seem to have inherited all that much of either parents' personality. She is much more subtle in her endeavors and is not one to openly goad or bait others into a fight. She never will be. Rai is empathetic and uses her thoughtfulness for the benefit of others rather than to exploit their weaknesses. However, upon further inspection, it is observed that much of Acantha's traits show up in the young cub.

Even the smallest details capture Rai's attention, but she is completely capable of zooming out to view the big picture as well. She is smart, despite her age, and will continue to grow as such. Witty comments come naturally, though they will rarely leave her mind to exit her mouth. She will not hesitate to let a lion or lioness know she dislikes them.

As far as her inherited traits from Crixus go, Rai got the inability to refuse a challenge. She is also not the most outgoing of lions, preferring to remain passive aggressive until a newcomer earns her trust. In her later years, she will become a bit more of a flirt as well, and quite a capable fighter.
