i limp off and start claiming some space for us

"I'll try eating something and I want to start a pack with you to have some little pups and everything." I say and nuzzle her before eating a rabbit or at least trying to but I cough it up

i hear him cough the rabbit up and rush back to him.

ok ok um... lay down... take a breath and get some rest.

i sigh and send a prayer of hope to the stars hoping my mate gets well soon. Then i lay next to him trying to imagine our pups and the life we will lead one day

"When would we even have children?" I ask and lay down and stop coughing

one day my love... i begin to doze. One day...

the next morning i wake up and i feel movement beside me. cay stands up.

where are you going? i ask feeling cold now that his body has left mine

"I'm gonna find a way. Maybe that day is gonna be tomorrow who knows." I say quietly and go over to the woods matkin* more places as territory

i smile and yawn but then i stop dead...

I felt MOVEMENT!

oh god i pace back and forth anxious as heck

oh no no no no this is not happening... im NOT READY that last word ends in a yelp of terror. oh god how am I gonna tell him we don't even have a den for crying out loud!

Um... c-cay c-can i talk to you....... i lay down my head spinning with ecxitement. my bad leg aches more then normal

I look back and see her anxious I rush over." Yes? What do you need to tell me? We need to find a den soon I saw one not to far from here." I say and lay down next to her

c-cay... i think... i think we are going to have pups... i-i can feel them...

"WHAT?!?" I shout and stand up." Yeah we gotta go to that den I saw earlier it was abandoned. Are you ok where we can go to the den?" I ask and look down at her nuzzling her head." I'm happy for us."
