Truth remained silent, watching the two bicker. With a pang, she realized that it was awfully similar to how Whisp and herself acted. There was a pause as everyone fell quiet, and Mara's last words finally sunk in. "Before the humans?" She tilted her head at Frost, one ear pricked up. "What does she mean?"

"Before they took me," Frost stated simply. "Go back to the city where you belong, street cat!" Mara growled.

"I knew it," a low growl said from behind Truth, Frost, and Lamentis. Truth, instantly recognizing the voice, jumped up and whipped around. Lamentis whimpered, her ears flicking back as Whisp emerged once again, fur bristling. Karma stood beside him, staring darkly at Frost. Clumps of fur were missing from her neck and back, but the bandages were now gone. "I knew he was a murderer. And yet, you still trust him, Mother," Whisp said darkly, tilting his head. Karma let out a deep growl, stepping towards Frost. Truth stood, standing in front of Lamentis and Frost. "That is enough, you too," she said sternly, making Whisp laugh. "Two against one, Mother. We'll make that stupid feline pay for what he did to us. To his own damn family," he spat, walking around the side of Truth. Karma stalked to the other side, and Truth's head swiveled around. She couldn't see both of them anymore...

Frosts fur bristled as he took a wary step backwards. He glanced over at Mara, hoping for a little backup, but all she did was sit down. When the two advanced on him, he took another step backwards, ears flattened back against his head. Nervous purrs erupted from his chest, eyes darting back and forth as he tried to keep watch on both.

Truth let out a low growl, her tail lashing. Lamentis backed away slowly, her eyes flashing from each wolf to the next. She turned, and tail between her legs, darted to Mara, hiding behind the feline. She was uncomfortably close to the cat, her eyes still focused on the older wolves. "I'll tear you apart, you wretched flea-bag," Karma growled, before swiftly launching herself at the feline. Truth made to step in between the two, but Whisp launched himself at her before she could, barreling into her and clinging to her front leg. She let out a howl of fury, biting at the back of his neck, shaking her head violently.

Mara calmly wrapped her tail around the puppy, watching contently as the battle unfolded. Frost sent one last rushed glance at Mara, before he went to dash off. He was caught under the canine- growling softly as he twisted around and tried to swat at Karma.

Thick, foaming saliva dripped from Karma's mouth as she let out a roar-like snarl, snapping at his paw. She missed, but she lunged at him again, aiming for his throat. Truth shook off her son, before tackling him to the ground. They rolled over, a swarming mass of fur and crimson blood. Truth kicked at Whisp's underbelly, and he yelped in pain, before sinking his fangs into her shoulder and shaking his head viciously. Truth kicked him again, sending him flying, and stood, limping on her injured leg. She growled at her son as he stood again, chest heaving. Truth's eyes flashed over to Frost and saw her daughter lunging for his throat. She let out a bellowing roar, charging at her daughter. Just as Karma's fangs were inches away from ripping into Frost's throat, Truth barreled into her, knocking the wind out of her lungs. Truth locked her fangs onto Karma's back, tearing at her fur and opening the old wounds. Karma let out a high-pitched yelp, reaching around to snap at Truth.

Frost thrashed under the canine, and was able to get free when Truth knocked her away. Quickly rising to his feet, Frost just stood there, frozen in fear. Mara pulled the puppy close, gently shielding them from the battle.

In the confusion, none of the wolves seemed to notice Frost slip away. Whisp attacked his mother again, howling in fury. They wrestled with one another, snapping and snarling and clawing. Lamentis saw Frost frozen in fear, and wrenched herself out of Mara's grasp, shooting towards Frost. She got on the opposite side of him, ramming her head into his shoulder, trying to push him towards Mara and away from the fight. "C'mon, kitty, we gotta go," she said, grunting as she shoved him again but to no avail. He was too big for her to move on her own.
