Ekon watched in confusion as Anasuri grabbed the fruit. He didn't speak as she stood there, but finally his curiosity got the better of him. "What are you doing and why are we whispering?" His voice was quiet, but loud enough for her to hear.

Anasuri looked over her shoulder, her eyes sparkling even as the ravine snuffed out sunlight entering it, "This is a Karkarian Boansi, better known as Death's Ravine fruit. It only grows hanging over the Karkarian Ravine, which is this one. It is so deep it goes all the way to the underworld, home of the Death God. We whisper as to not alert him of our presence." Anasuri walked down the branch and jumped the six foot drop to the ground, "And now," Anasuri took off the gloves, and put them carefully into a bag, "I have one."

Ekon listened intently to what Anasuri said. Not used to this talk of the underworld or of a Death God. He knew of none of it. What he did know of was the deadly fruit in her hand so that was nice. "Oh, I am sorry. I am not educated in things pertaining to the gods and underworld. My question must have seemed stupid, I am happy that you have gotten what you came for." Ekon lowered his head to look at the ground. He felt so stupid.

Anasuri grinned, the first time she did so since Ekon arrived, "It's not stupid. If you didn't know, you didn't know." Anasuri picked up her bucket of other herbs and fruits, save for the Karkarian Boansi, which was in a special bag, "Let's get away from the ravine and stop somewhere for lunch. I know a creek that's not too far away."

Ekon nodded, lunch sounded great, as did putting down this basket for a moment or two. He wouldn't say anything or complain but it was quite heavy. Especially after holding it for so long. He was ready to set it down and eat. Maybe look at the birds of the area too.

Anasuri led the way to the creek, and after a ten minute walk, arrived, "Here we are." She set down her pouch and bucket, and slipped off her shoes. There were a few rocks that went out about halfway into the lazily flowing water, and Anasuri stepped across, landing on the final rock, which was larger. She sat down on it, and put her fingers into the water, "You can eat. I'm content right here."

Ekon listened to his instructions and sat down. With a practiced grace, he opened the picnic basket and took out his sandwich. He sat cross legged which was rather uncomfortable but he was trained to always be proper about the things he did. Even when sitting outside....on grass and dirt and sticks. His eyes ran over the tree line and he decided that this would probably be a great painting idea. Though he still needed to get more canvases and such, at least he had an idea. Anasuri slipped off her shoes, and pulled up her leggings, dangling her legs in the water, "Do you need anything for your rooms?" Anasuri felt safer out in the wild. At least if he killed her here, the blame would be on him, whether it be for murder or for being careless. It was a small comfort.

Ekon looked up at Anasuri with wide eyes. She wasn't actually asking if he needed something, right? That was like, impossible. You weren't supposed to care about your guard at all. Just let them tend to themselves. That's what Ekon had been told at least. He shuffled nervously on his bottom. Looking down at the ground as he replied. "I don't believe you should be asking me that Princess Anasuri. It's my duty to care for you, to ask you what you need, not the other way round ma'am." Ekon didn't want to seem rude but he was scared it might come off that way.

Anasuri shrugged, kicking up water with her feet, "Yes. It is your job. And my job is making sure that people are comfortable and happy. If you need something, tell me. I can get it, as long as it's within reason." Anasuri stood, "Besides. It's the least I can do when I drag you out of adventures I want to go on. This is also is long term job. I hope, once I know that you aren't going to kill me, that we aren't unfriendly." With that, Anasuri hopped into the lake, waist deep. The current wasn't rough that day, so Anasuri was able to stand easily.
