"Im not sure." Embry said with a slight nervousness in his voice. He walked down the stairs pretty fast. He usually was a fast walker but earlier he wasn't too fast, that was only because he was tired. He moved his hair behind his ear, walking outside the college.

Knox walked over to his truck and unlocked it. "How about McDonald's again?" He asked as he got in the truck and started it. " Ill pay for whatever we end up getting. " Knox added

Embry walked to the passenger side and got in. "Sounds good." He said as he put on his seatbelt. "You don't have to pay though." He implied.

"I insist on paying." Knox told to Embry. He pulled out of the parking lot and the two drove to McDonald's. when they reached the drive through Knox turned to Embry. "Soo...do you know what you want?" He asked. He planned on telling his mom what happened at practice later either through text or over the phone whenever a good chance rose.

Embry was quiet for most of the ride until they made it to the drive-through. "Hm, I will just get a small fry, 4-piece chicken nugget with a Pepsi," Embry said with a nervous tone. He then put half his hair up into a low man bun to get it out of his face.

when they got up to the thing he put in both there orders. "Oh and can I get to mcflurries?" He asked. The person have him his total and he pulls up to the next window or at least as far as he could since there were some people ahead of him. " So how was art? " he asked Embry realizing they hardly said anything the whole time they've been in the car

"It was good, we got let out early but you already figured that out." He said they both waited. He made eye contact a bit before looking away because he was scared.

Knox noticed the Embry was acting a little odd. "Hey are you ok?" He asked Embry as he pulled up getting closer ever so slowly to the window. I always thought McDonald's was fast but this is kinda slow.

"Yeah im fine." He said as he gave Knox a quick smile. He looked at the window as they pulled up. Once Knox was handed the food he took the bag from him and held it.

He thought it was still weird but he didn't want to push. They left the McDonald's parking lot and headed back to the dorm building. When they parked Knox got out and grabbed the door for Embry then started to walk up to there dorm. He pulled out his phone at some point and saw his mom had texted him. "How was practice?" It read. "I'll let you know it went when were back." He hit the send button and put his phone away. He didn't want to risk Embry coming over and possibly reading what happened in the locker room.
