But would it be more than just a training session with the Alpha? No. It wouldnt. It would soon turn into an affair of sorts.

Em sighed as she stood up from her report to the Alpha and was about to head back to her den in her territory when she looked back at Mikael. She winked before turning around and walked to him " Good job out there, Mikael. I'm proud of you." she gave him a slight smile " you busy tomorrow?" If not, we could uh... go back to the hillside and train more on your attacks." she had a little mischivous glint in her eyes. What am I talking about.. I dont want to do this.. it isnt right. But im starting to have feelings for him.

Mikael looked at Hunter, who nodded in approval, before turning to Em. "Yeah I'm free for another training session for tomorrow. I'll see you there, I guess." Mikael smiled at Em and watched as she left, thinking about what else she could teach him. Probably to be more aggressive when I stand off against other wolves... but I guess I'll have to wait and see. He sat down but couldn't help and think about that moment when he was struck silent by her eyes. Why did I stop there and think about how pretty her eyes were? No... I can't be developing feelings for her... that's silly. She's an Alpha; she already has a mate. He shook his head as he thought about tomorrow, and what Em had in store for him.

( time to think of how this will go)

Em was trotting back to her den when Lilac snarled " You are late, my dear. Again. Not hanging out with that other pack now, are you. Em?" he asked getting close to her " I can smeell them on you."

" Baby.. its not what you think. Im teaching Mikael.. the one I keep telling you about, how to fight and get his endurance up. Hes getting better. But he still needs more work. "

" No. No more going over there. I will go myself." Lilac said pinning her down in a swift motion and his teeth at her face " Dont go back. Until I have settled this with that other Alpha"

Em whined as she was let go and she ran off to her den to think things through. He knows im having an affair... she thought as she slowly fell asleep alone. Michael will never survive Lilac.

But then an idea came to her and she grabbed Star and told her to follow Lilac tomorrow to watch what happenes to Mikael " I dont want him hurt. He means too much to me. Protect him, for my sake"

Star nodded and stayed with her that night, to try and comfort her.

The next morning, Mikael woke up, excited about anotehr training sesion with Em considering that he was able to beat her for the first time yesterday, so he was more than willing to train with her once again, but seeing an angry stranger caused his heart to sink. Oh boy... he's not happy. With my luck, he's probably someone in their pack that secretly wants Em for herself. What on earth does he want? The stranger eyed Mikael and immediately began walking over to him with purpose, but Hunter intercepted him. "Lilac, I understand why you are not happy, but I will not stand by idly and let you shed the blood of one of our own." Hunter stated, making sure he was in between Mikael and Lilac.

Star just watched in a bush, ready to interfere and protect Mikael if needed. She promised her Alpha she would.

" I know what has been going on, Hunter. my Alpha isnt just training Mikael. I smelled him all over her last night. She wont be coming back here ever again. " Then looked at Mikael " An no more training"

Star had to grab Em. And thats what she did. She ran back to the den and told her what was going on. The two ran back to the other territory and Em snarled " Lilac! Leave Mikael and his pack alone. I made a deal with Hunter. I have done everything he asked of me and I am still training Mikael. What you think is going on, really isnt what you think. We are friends and thats it, just having some fun" She said walking up to Mikael and nuzzling him before looking at Lilac. " Leave them alone. " she growled, her eyes ablaze with anger.

What she wasnt expecting was what Lilac said " Em.. Dont ever come back to me or my pack. If you do, I'll kill you." he snarled before walking off back to the den.

Em had her eyes down and her ears back " What have a done?" she said watching her now ex mate leave her.

Mikael sat there, jaw on the ground after seeing what had transpired. I... I... Did I... Oh no... All Mikael could do was watch as Lilac leave Em behind, promising that she would be killed if she came back to their den, effectively banishing her from the pack. He felt incredible guilt wash over him as Em seemed like she was legitamately heartbroken. "You and I need to talk." Hunter whisped to Mikael, before walking away. Mikael followed his Alpha and Hunter sat down, his face a mix of confusion, anger, and disappointment. "Mikael, I'm disappointed in you. All this time you've been complaing to me that I picked Clay over you to become the Beta Male, and yet you pull this?! Trying, successfully, might I add, to lure an Alpha Female away from her mate? Do you realize the punishment that could come from this?" Mikael didn't know exactly, but he immediately went to the worst punishment short of death: Exile from the Shadow Hearts. "I guess I was correct in picking Clay over you after all. Now go back to the den, and stay there. I'll determine your punishment soon." Mikael nodded and he meekly went back to the den, ignoring both Daria and Clay as he went. Not only did I just ruin my life here with the Hearts... but I also got Em exiled from her pack as well! And I may share the same fate!! Mikael buried his head in his paws, absolutely out of options and unsure on what to do.

"Hunter.. wait.. please" Em said trotting to him " Dont do anything rash to Mikael. I'm begging you." She looked at the Alpha with fear in her eyes " I didnt plan this, I swear. I dint think that this would happen. It was a possibility.. But I surely didnt know it would happen" she lokoed away for a second " Let me stay here and I'll do what needs to be fixed. But dont exile Mikael because of my mistake. I didnt know it would go this far. Forgive me, Hunter. Forgive Mikael. And let this pass." my true feelings are showing every time I say his name... but I cant help it. "

By night fall, Em was starving, but she didnt care what happened to her at this point. She was an outcast fro her pack and was never to go back again or face the death penilty. She would do what ever it would take to keep Mikael and herself alive.

That night, Hunter had made his decision about the punishment. He called for Mikael to come to the center, and Em followed him as Mikael awaited his punishment. With Daria by his side and Clay and Makayla, along with her pups, watching on right outside of the den, Hunter began speaking. "Today I was met with a situation I never thought I would have to deal with in my life... but it has happened and now, Mikael, you must be punished for your crime of luring an Alpha Female away from her mate. All this time you vied for the position of Beta Male, but it seems that you cannot be trusted with any responisbilites if you are willing to hide something like this. Do you have anything to say in your defense?" MIkael silenty shook his head and awaited for Hunter to deliver his punishment.
(If you want Em to offer a rebuttal, now's your chance!)

" Alpha...wait!" Em said standing up and walked to Mikael. Nuzzling him to keep him calm. She then turned around " Dont do this. He doesnt deserve to be punished. I do. Whever you thought of doing to Mikael, do it to me. I love Mikael. I knew that look in his eye the day we began training up in the hills towards the West. I cant live without him, Hunter. He probably will say the same thing. But Im begging you to not harm him."

She stepped forward and waited for what Hunter had to say to her interuption to save Mikael's life. But she glanced once more at Mikael before anything even happened.

( Make it that Em gets badly injured in the fight from the other wolves in the pack as punishment. But able for her to survive of course.)

Hunter looked at Mikael, before looking at Em. Hmm... she sounds like she's willing to sacrifice for him. I wonder how far she is willing to go for him. "So... you're willing to take Mikael's punishment in his stead? Very well." Daria and Clay slowly began walking towards Em, unnerving Mikael. "For some time I considered banishing both of you, but then that would mean you two could be together, free of my authority, but now I know what punishment you deserve..." He nods his head and Clay pins down Em as Daria went to work, inflicting pain using her claws and teeth, causing blood to slowly leak from the cuts as it went on. After over a minute of punishment, Clay and Daria were satisfied, leaving Em bloody and weak. Mikael instantly ran over and nuzzled Em, making sure she was okay. "Please... please tell me you're okay..." Mikael whispered to her, a tear rolling down his eyes as guilt and heartbreak overcame him, with Hunter watching on.
