Imani laughed, giving him her own mock bow, "It would be my honor." She said, stifling another laugh.

"It's going to be nice having someone else around to hang out with besides the cubs. Speaking of the cubs, I think you'll like them. They take a bit to warm up to new lions, but once they do they are huge bundles of energy that never quit chasing you, or biting you tail." She said, with a chuckle.

He smiled. Hopefully everyone would welcome him, not just the cubs and Imani. Sonething was weird about Imani, from the moment he saw her, since ahe was a cub of course, a different feeling came up to him. He knew exactly what it was of course, he liked Imani, alot. Every time he looked at her, he felt that feeling. But did she feel that back? Probably not, I mean, a Lion with no social skills, and was a rogue for all his adult life? She wouldnt like him. But that didnt mean they couldnt be friends.

"I bet they'll warm up real fast." He said with a chuckle. The evening rays signified that dusk was approaching. "Teacher," he said with a laugh, "where do Pride lions sleep?" He asked in a cubish vouce.

Imani chuckled, "Here let me show you." She got up and started walking in the opposite direction, back towards the camp.

She arrived at a pile of rocks. "This is where we sleep. There is a opening in the rocks, it's like a cave. Lionesses sleep there, and lions sleep there." she said, flicking her tail in the direction of the dens.

"Okay." He replied, heading towards the direction of the lions den. He was about to walk in when he paused. "Good night, Imani." He replied, before stepping into the dark den with the other lions. They didn't seem to trust him yet, and moved iver to let him have space, as they scowled in disgust. Zeus just plopped down against the den wall, and dozed off into a deep, dreamless sleep.

"Good night." She said as he entered the den.

She hoped the pride liked him, besides, the reason he was kicked out was stupid, so why shouldn't they like him? All that mattered now was that Imani had a friend here above the age of 2. And Zeus finally had somewhere to stay.

Imani entered her own den, the other lionesses already asleep. She laid down and tried to fall asleep, but ended up awake for most of the night. She didn't know what kept her up, but after another few hours of sleeplesness, she finally managed to doze until morning.

Zeus awoke to a paw to the face. "Get up newcomer." The gruff voice said, as sunlight blinded Zeus's eyes. "We are oatrolling the border and your coming with us." He looked up to see a male around the age of 6. With hard brown eyes and a tan coat with a brownish-black mane. "We dont got all day lets go." He growled, as he and his patrol left the den. Zeus rose to hisnpaws quickly, and without strtching padded along outside to patrol the borders.

Imani awoke the next morning and exited her den.

She peeked into the lion's den but noticed it was empty. She then went to investigate the spot that the pride liked to hang out in, and discovered only lionesses. She assumed that the lions had went on a border patrol, and they had obviously taken Zeus with them. At least they took him with. She thought.

The King and Queen had already eaten, and from the looks of it, the lions had too, so she made her way over to the most recent kill with the other lionesses and started to eat.

Zeus followed the other males in patrolling their territory. Not that they had much action though, as mostly they just encountered prey, or the occasional rogue. He handt eaten yet, but clearly the others had, as they still licked blood off their lips. Most of the males, including Zion, who he learned the name, and was the one who woke hin up that morning. Clearly he too, had once been a rogue, for he was thebonly one who had compassuon in him, but not friendship.

Once they made it back to camp, Zeus saw Imani eating with the other lionesses, so he headed oberbto join her.

Imani lifted her head from her Prey and nodded greeting at Zeus, who apparently hadn't ate yet.

She hoped the other lion's had been at least a little bit welcoming to Zeus on the patrol.

"So how did the patrol go?" She asked, chewing a bite of the prey.

Zeus bit off a chunk of gazzelle leg and laid down beside Imani. He took a bite before saying, "it was alright, nothing out of the ordinary, saw a herd of antelope along the southwest border." He finished, and took another bite of prey. "You?" He asked. Looking at Imani.
