"Uh she just asked if I wanted to join you guys for dinner this weekend." Embry said as he looked up from his phone. He was then sat on his bed as he looked back down at his phone.

Knox sat down on his bed. "She didn't tell embarrassing stories about me then." He said more to himself. He knew that it was going to be impossible for his mom not to that weekend. He pulled out his phone and starting typing up a text to his mom. "is my room still there or did things get moved?" He sent the text then laid down watching videos and occasionally joining in on whatever conversations his friends were having in group chats he was in.

An hour went by of them sitting in silence on their phones and it was now time for their next classes. "Okay, I will see you after class," Embry said getting up quickly. He started walking out of the dorm not waiting for Knox. He was in a hurry to get to class. He walked down the stairs and out of the building and made his way to the art room.

He grabbed his bag for soccer and headed down to what he assumed was the soccer field they'd be using. He went to the locker rooms and changed. He was one of the first couple of people to be ready and as he watched people come out he was the former friend who yelled at him and started dating his ex a month after the whole thing. He tried to keep his head down until he heard someone say his name. "Knox? Is that you? Dude it's been so long! How have you been?" He turned around to see his ex friend. He was getting annoyed with him a already and he hasn't been around for five minutes yet. How the hell did he forget what he did? Knox forced a . smile on his face, "Hey Riley. I've been better." He said to his ex friend

Embry couldn't choose which one he liked more, music or art. Music definitely touches him more but he's so good at art. He got to his class and sat down waiting for his professor. He ended up showing up soon after starting the lesson.

Embry had finished class early and was walking back to the dorms when he notices Knox. He was doing his soccer practice. He decided he would make a little visit. He made his way over to the bleachers closest to where Knox was. He sat down and once Knox looked over here he gave him a little wave.

when he looked over at the bleachers he was Embry. He smiled at him to try to return the wave before paying attention. The team was have a practice match so half the team was in one team and the other half the same. Riley was in front of him with the ball and was waiting for a chance to slip by Knox. When Knox had turned hi head towards teachers Riley had went past him with the ball. "Shit." He thought to himself as he went after the ball hoping he could try to take the ball from Riley.

The team had been on the field for maybe a half hour longer after Embry showed up. "You all have worked hard today so I'm releasing you twenty minutes early from practice." There coach said once everyone has gathered around. Knox went into the locker rooms and got changed. He was about too leave when he heard someone say something. " You didn't do good out there Knox! Was that your boyfriend out by the stands? " Riley said to him. Riley and some of the others who as quickly become friends with Riley all started laughing as Knox balled his fists up trying not to punch Riley. He took a breath and then walked out of the locker rooms ain't his bag like nothing happened at all.

Embry watched as the team got to leave early. He watched as Knox and the rest of the team went to the changerooms. He trailed behind before waiting outside the changeroom for Knox. He leaned his back against the wall and crossed his arms. He only waited for not even 5 minutes. He watched as Knox came out of the changeroom. He then walked with him to their dorm.

When they got back to there dorm he grabbed a towel along with a hoodie and paid of sweat pants. "Hey um I'm going to go take a shower." Knox said to Embry before he left the dorm room and went to the showers. What Riley had said in the locker room kept playing in his head. Mostly the part about Embry. He knew Riley was right about not playing as well as he normally did. He played through practice as he was showering and realized his playing got worse when he noticed Embry over by the stands.

When he got out he put the clothes he brought on and quickly dried his hair before going up to the dorm room. When he got to the dorm died he opened it and then put the towel back before grabbing his keys, phone and wallet. "I'm going to go get food. do you want anything when I'm out?" He asked Embry

Embry didn't say anything after Knox had left. He just sat there in silence until he came back. "Uhm sure, I will just come with you. I have nothing to do anyways." Em said getting up, although he wasn't that hungry. He knew he had to eat though. He walked out the door after Knox, closing it. He had forgotten how comfortable he had felt with Knox in highschool. They had a really close relationship, almost too close to call friends. But once he got a partner he got more distant. Embry didn't like that, he also didn't like the fact he had a partner. But that was all in the past now. He's finally friends with him again and he's single.

"So what do you want?" He asked Embry as they walked towards the stairs. He planned on at least getting something to eat even if he wasn't terribly hungry along with a ice cream of some sort.
