Cin waged his tail at the question. Just something about having a mate was exciting to him. Especially when Luna was expecting, made him think of what he wanted in his life. "I know I want a mate. Someone to be paired with till death. To raise little ones with. A whole new adventure." He looked out over the pack. "I don't know who though. They all see me as either to fixated on my duty or to playful to be serious with." He huffed in an annoyed frustration.

At that moment Bluejay rushed in and wiggled next to Luna he booked her nose with his and dropped the leg by her mouth. Laying beside her he kept looking at her stomach. He held his ear up against to see if hear could hear a heartbeat, though he knew it was to soon to hear a heart or feel a kick.

Luna smiled. "Well, one that's too playful can be taught. Wanting you for rank is something far different." She looked at Bluejay before she looked back at Cin. "I am sure you will find a mate though. Dont you worry. It does seem that you have an admirer though" she said looking at the dusty brown female once more. "She hardly takes her eyes off of you." She chuckled before she licked Bluejay's cheek. She was grateful to have a wonderful mate. The white coated female hadnt dreamed of being with a mate, pups, let alone being an alpha.

Cin waged his tail even harder. "I don't think anyone really knows what my job is except the other gaurds and you two. Except they know I'm a Beta candidate." He shrugged as he looked back out to the female she mentioned. "Youve noticed her noticing me too?" He asked with a laugh. "Alexia, she is roughly our age. A bit more shy but stunning in her own right as a very effective hunter."

Bluejay looked up as well to see her. See if Cin was good enough for her. That was their joke. Theve always said they'd be lucky to find a she-wolf who could put up with them. "You know what. She might be aable to tolerate you." He chuckled and paced at Cins waging tail as he nudged closer to Luna after she locked his cheek. He had everything he wanted in this den with him. A best friend and brother, and flawless mate who had pups on the way.

Luna couldnt help but laugh as the males joked about the female. "Why dont you try talking to her Cin? With Bluejay here, I dont see why we have to bore you." She gave him a playful wink before she pulled the leg closer to eat. She ate most of it before she rolled onto her back. She looked at Bluejay. "Have you thought of who should be the betas" she asked. "After all, with the packs merging, one from each pack might be a good idea."

Cin gave an excited small yip, proving how puplike he could still be. "Again, your not boring. But I'll definitely take you up on that idea." He said with confidence as he walked out of the den towards Alexia. She seemed to have the same idea as she met him half way.

Bluejay watched Lina devour the leg quickly. That's my girl. He thought as he looked at her lovingly. "I have actually. I do have bias for Cin. Clearly. He knows how everything here is run. But from your pack I don't know. The males look at me like they either want me dead, to overthrow me, or to kill me themselves." He laughed. "The females are just a mess. They act like their constantly in heat." He said awkwardly not liking how they walked up to him or spoke to him. "I wanted to tun it by you, but I was thinking Nyras mother. But I don't know if they respect her enough to actually listen to her orders." He said defeated and exhausted from this. At least all of the dens had been built so everyone had their own as well as a few extras in case as per usual. "My parents give me advice but I want someone to just tell me what would be best for everyone." He rolled showing his belly to her.

Luna looked at Bluejay. "Cin would be a wonderful choice. As from my pack, Nyra's mother might be a good choice, but she's older. I don't know if she would want a high position again. Especially not after what Nyra pulled. After all, giving her Beta, would make Nyra Beta's daughter and would only give her a reason to act out again. Most of the males are not smart enough to be able to take you down. They are just upset you picked an omega when their precious Nyra was supposed to be with you" she said with a chuckle. "Perhaps Aro" she said, motioning to a light gray male who seemed to just be watching. "He's young, barely two, but he doesn't want to put up a fight unless it's necessary. Most of the time it's because of him I was able to eat."

Bluejay nodded and looked at him. "I didn't even think about the fact Nyra may inherent the position or act our again." He sighed as he got close to Luna and laid normally again looking out. "I don't know why they support someone who was an aweful wolf to them and an even worse leader with a sour attitude. Just today I had to scold her again." He kept looking at the gray male. "You said his name was Aro? I don't know if I want to put someone that young under such stress." He had an idea. "What of we tested him?" He asked his white wolf and licked her nose.

Luna shrugged. "They followed her because she was the heir. That's all they see really is things like this." She looked towards Aro as she rolled back onto her stomach. "Yes. An interesting name for him. While he might be young, he knows right from wrong more than most in my pack." Before she could answer his question about testing him, two pups started fighting and Aro quickly jumped in to separate then. He did it in a way Luna had never seen. He placed his paw between the two and laid down. Since the pups were still young, they couldn't see each other over Aro.

Bluejay scoffed as she described ther mentality further. While he understood lineage he also knew just because you shared blood didn't mean you where worthy of high position. In fact he thought it was harder because he had to prove he could handle the status, what was expected of him, and everyone else's duties. To him it must be earned. "That's stupid." They continued watching him. "He catches on quick, especially now that he has better examples." He said after watching how carefully yet quickly he separated the two pups. "He's certainly smarter then the rest of the males of what used to be your pack." He concluded. "Do you want me to bring him over, or would that make you nervous?" He asked cautiously looking at her stomach again.

Luna looked at Bluejay with a smile. "He stopped them in a way I didn't think anyone would" she said with a smile. "You can bring him. Without the pack knowing, and my scent hasn't changed enough for anyone to know." She knew his concerns, but hoped that with this, it would put him to ease. While she would be on edge, Aro wasn't foolish enough to try anything.
