Julian waved off Jason's nagging bit about him being late, he was always late and Jason knew that well enough. As Jason spoke Julian popped open the trunk and released a soft chuckle. "I highly doubt you could carry me anywhere idiot, and don't even try it, because if you drop me I will murder you." Julian shook his finger at Jason as if talking to a child but his grin never left his face. Once Jason had thrown his shit in the trunk, Julian rubbed his hands together excitedly. "Ready to get this show on the road?" It wasn't a real question, because whether Jason wanted to go or not didn't matter, they always went to the peach festival. Even if one brother had to drag the other there.

"First of all, I can definitely carry you. You may think you are all big and tough, but you are literally two inches taller than me, and I have more muscle mass than you. So, hell, I could throw you if I wanted to, asshole." Jason wasn't really upset - and Julian knew that too - but he was tired of Julian thinking he is some big and tough guy when he really wasn't. Plus, Jason was always willing to taking his brother down a peg. "And second - fucking duh I'm ready to go. Unlock the door and let me in already." - ts? idk how much we want to rp at the peach fes/if we want to rp it at all tbh

Although Julian truthfully didn't doubt that his brother could pick him up, he would definitely not be admitting that any time soon. As for the throwing bit, that was entirely impossible and Julian merely rolled his eyes at Jason. Throw him? Yea right. Once Jason got his shit in the car, Julian hopped in and unlocked the door. Once Jason got in, Julian took off. _____ Probably ts, I don't have a clue what would take place at the peach festival to be honest, I don't care if we skip it or not really.

alright! the ~mystery peach festival~ we will skip it! AND NOW JASON GETS TO MEET AMARA! + just so we both know (altho we already do know: the peach festival was awesome, jason and julian talked about being heroes and villains, and both understand why the other is doing it. they are cool, and their brotherhood and friendship is solid.) - Julian dropped Jason off at his apartment after two full days of peachy fun, where Jason had immediately texted Addilyn that he was coming over, and was bearing gifts. He lovingly packed a peach pie into the carrying bin on his motorcycle, along with a bag with three peaches in it (he had bought many other peach-related food items, so he wouldn't be missing these). Jason arrived at Addilyn's house at 9 o'clock at night. He flipped down his peach-themed sunglasses after removing his helmet, and grabbed his gifts from the bin. The sunglasses complimented his peach festival souvenir shirt. After knocking on the door, Jason didn't hesitate to plop the pie and peaches into the hands of the person that opened the door, "Hi babe!" Then, still riding off the high of the peach festival, Jason continued on, not even bothering to step inside before started his excited rant, "I had a great time at the peach festival. It almost got canceled because of the rain but luckily it didn't - I would have cried, no shit - so my brother and I got to spend two full days at the festival, and we even went for a bit this morning before we started driving. It was already closed the day that we arrived, which was sad. The festival itself was great - it always is - but they really stepped it up this year! The peach-maze was actually difficult - my brother got lost for an hour - and the games were fun. I won a bunch of stuff, because I am awesome like that.... My brother did try to abandon me in buck-ass nowhere on the way back when I went into a gas station to use the bathroom, and he got about a mile away, apparently, before he realized that I stole his peach sunglasses in order to insure that he didn't abandon me like last year. I had to walk twenty miles. That was not fun.... SPEAKING OF SUNGLASSES! Do you like mine? I also got a t-shirt - well, multiple t-shirts - but," Jason pouted, "They didn't have my size, so I got this one a size smaller, which I'm kinda sad about because tie-dye is one of the most wonderful patterns in existence, in my opinion..... ANYWAY! I won't bother you, just wanted to drop off the pie and peaches, I'll text you later!" Jason propped up his sunglasses on top of his head in order to lean in to give Addi a kiss on the cheek. That was when he noticed it, "You...." Jason flipped the moved the sunglasses on and off as he spoke, looking through them with squinted eyes, "Aren't... Addi...." He pulled off the sunglasses fully, staring at them, "These obstructed my vision more than I thought. So, older-but-not-by-much not-Addilyn: uhh, who are you?" Jason had no shame about talking about the festival in front of the stranger. He was only sad that Addi wasn't there to hear about it. Even though she'd never been, she would still listen to him, since it was important to him. - this is a strange post, but i refuse to apologize for it. jason is cute and wonderful and deserves his nice peach festival

To say the very, very least, the past few days at Addilyn's house had been action packed. Apparently, her mother had a million things planned for her stay, and all of those things included dragging Addilyn along with her. It wasn't like it was unexpected, Amara tended to do whatever she wanted without asking first. The only thing that Addilyn was not okay with was the formal events her mother would tell her about last minute. The first problem was that Addilyn didn't like formal events, the second was that they were always there to get sponsors for the resistance that Addilyn wasn't even a real member of. The night Jason texted Addilyn, she'd just gotten out of a three hour long dinner party that she had not brought her phone to. Meaning? Well, Jason's text fell on deaf ears. --- By the time Jason arrived, Addilyn had only been home for around 15 minutes, and while her mother had already gotten comfortable in her pjs, Addilyn had a dog to take care of. That was why it was Amara, Addilyn's mother, who'd opened the door when Jason had knocked. __ This was the most awkward situation Amara had ever been in. She'd done some pretty stupid shit as a kid, and even now she wasn't the brightest, but this guy at the door took the fucking cake for weird. First off, he'd thrown a pie (which Amara was pretty happy about) and some peaches into her hands without even looking at her. After that, he'd gone on some rant about a peach festival and proceeded to nerd out about it. All of this, Amara found endearing, albeit a little weird, solely because the guy was a fucking hottie. As the man bent down to give her a kiss on the cheek, Amara finally realized who the stranger was, and a wide grin spread across her face. "Oh, you're Jason right? It's an absolute pleasure to finally meet you dear." Amara's accent was quite obvious as she spoke, she had a rhythmic tone and spoke with stressed consonants. Unlike her daughter, she'd never really gotten rid of her Italian accent. "I was worried that Addilyn was never going to introduce us, though I am pretty sure she hadn't meant for this to happen. I'm Amara, Amara Tano, Addilyn's mother. I've heard all about you, come in, I'll-" Amara stopped as Addilyn's voice yelled off in the distance. "Mamma! Who is it?" Addilyn's voice sounded different than normal, with a soft Italian accent and rhythmic speaking that mirrored Amara's. At her daughter's voice, Amara grinned, an idea forming in her head. She put a finger to her lips, gesturing for Jason to stay quiet. "It's the mailman, he needs you to sign for a package." Amara grinned, trying not to laugh. "The mailman? It's night time mamma, you sure it's him?" Amara frowned as Addilyn put a hole in her grand plan. "Um yes, I am positive Addilyn, I'm not blind, and don't you even go there. I may only have one eye but that eye is fully fuctioning. Now, get your ass over here and sign these damned papers so I can go to bed." Amara's voice cracked as she tried to hold back the laughter that Addilyn's annoyed groan caused. She looked back over at Jason, knowing he was probably confused, but just gave him a wink. -- Addilyn swore under her breath as she made her way to the front door. She hadn't had the chance to change yet and was hopping on one foot to the door to get her remaining heel off. By the time she successfully gotten the heel off, she was in view of the front door, though she was too busy celebrating her victory to realize that Jason was there until it was too late. The dinner she'd been at had been a formal event, and her attire definitely reflected that. A long, bluish-grey off the shoulder dress swished across the tile floor, patterened with silver stars and graceful silver hoop earrings in her ears. Her black hair was pulled up in an elegant bun with a few pieces left out to frame her face. She looked, according to Amara, very stunning. As Addilyn's eyes met Jason's, she released a surprised, "Jason?" and dropped the shoes she'd been holding. Amara had smoothly moved out of the doorway and grinned as the two spotted each other. Ah, young love. Edited at July 25, 2021 02:12 PM by Sunflower

While Addilyn's mother (what a first impression) introduced herself, Jason propped the sunglasses back on top of his head. He didn't even get a chance to properly greet Ms. Tano before she was telling him to be quiet, and well, Jason had probably already ruined her view of him, so the least he could do was listen to her. Then she winked at him - at least, he was assuming it was a wink, because of the extra emphasis on it, but it was difficult to tell since she only had one eye - and there wasn't even time to unpack all of that before he saw her: Addilyn. "Uh, wow, um," Jason's mind forgot all words. He knew Addi was pretty - she was always pretty - but he hadn't seen her in formal wear before. It promptly broke his brain, although Jason knew he had to say something. He cleared his throat, and waved, and wow he felt like an awkward high schooler again. "Hi Addi. You look... wow. You look really good..." And he was in jhorts and peach sunglasses. No time for that! Jason had to collect his wits. "It is really good to see you - like really good - but I won't keep you long. I imagine that you want to change and head to bed after a long night," Jason smiled softly, "I brought you a pie and some peaches. I hope you like them. And," Jason turned to Ms. Tano, "It is wonderful to meet you, Ms. Tano. I hope that I can get to know you better during your stay - when it isn't so late. I, uh, apologize for my strange greeting," Jason scratched the back of his head, although he refused to be embarrassed.

Not Jason not knowing whether or not she was winking I'm dead lmao. ___ It took Addilyn quite a while to regain her wits and realize what her mother had done. Once she figured that out she gave the woman a withering glare (which she replied to by mouthing "he's a hottie") before returning her gaze to Jason. Upon meeting his eyes, her cheeks flamed pink and she averted her gaze shyly. His compliments always made her blush. At Jasons' words, Amara gave him a wide grin and waved away his embarrassment. "Oh don't worry about it dear, it's all in the past." "Wait why was the greeting we-" Addilyn was cut off as her mother continued talking, she never knew how to shut up really, thankfully it didn't run in th family. "But you don't have to leave Jason, I'm sure you're tired from the drive back and all. You can just stay overnight in the guest bedroom. I have so much to talk to you about! I figured I'd be able to meet you sometime this week and so I even brought a little photo album and I'll get to tell you all of Addilyn's embarrassing stories!" Amara looked genuinely excited to host Jason for the night, but Addilyn immediately shook her head and winced at all the assumptions her mother was making. "Mom he probably just wants to go home, and I know I wouldn't want you keeping me up all night just talking about yourself." Addilyn was being pretty reasonable, she was pretty sure her boyfriend wouldn't want to subject himself to that kind of psychological torture. Amara waved her daughter off with a grin, before returning to Jason's face and giving her best I'll murder you if you don't agree with me face. "But Jason can sleep in the other spare room and I'll even make breakfast tomorrow morning, how does that sound Jason?" It wasn't a question, Amara would murder his ass before allowing him to refuse her offer.

Amara didn't even have to give Jason her murder face - it was honestly overkill at that point. He wanted to get in Addilyn's mother's good graces, and this seemed to be the best way to do so. "Of course I can stay over, as long as it doesn't trouble you or Addi. You also don't need to make breakfast, Ms. Tano - I can do that. I bet Addilyn still has the pancake mix I bought a little while back," Jason gave Amara an easygoing smile, "I look forward to getting to know you. If I am staying, though, I better head to bed now so I'm at least semi-functioning in the morning." - im so sorry for how short this reply is

Don't worry about it! ____ As Jason spoke Tam appeared at Addilyn's side, and upon spotting Jason he immediately trotted to him. The dog's tail wagged and he panted happily, waiting for Jason to give him attention. Tam's appearance did not gain Amara's attention, as she was too focused on Jason. It seemed as if she was fully taking him in, and her remaining eye squinted at him as she scanned him over. The initial excitement she'd had at Jason's appearance was gone, and now she was left shocked at his disgusting fashion choices. Oh if he was ever going to marry her daughter Amara would have to fix that right up. ____ Addilyn watched as her mother looked Jason over, it seemed like she was pleased enough by her choice of a boyfriend, yet her eyes kept going back to Jason's shirt. She gave an almost imperceptible shake of her head at it which Addilyn found quite rude if anything. "That's very sweet of you Jason, I'd say that you shouldn't make breakfast but I can't cook and my mother eats energy bars for breakfast. It's probably best you cook." Addilyn gave Jason a small smile before walking forwards and giving him a tight hug. "I missed you." With that, Amara decided to dismiss herself. "I'm heading to bed then, you better be prepared for tomorrow Jason Stolle, by the end of it Iyou'll be able to recite the family tree three generations back. Goodnight then kids." Amara grinned at the duo before waltzing away to her bedroom. "She's joking... I think."

Jason hugged Addi back tightly, kissing the top of her head lightly, "I missed you too, love. I had a great time with my brother, but I'm also glad to be back with you." When Amara spoke again, Jason gave her a polite smile, "I'll do my best to impress you with my memory, ma'am. Goodnight - and sleep well." Once she was gone, Jason melted even further into Addilyn, burying his face in her fancy hair, "I really want to think she is, but I honestly doubt it. I better go to bed - and I know you have to be tired, babe," Jason pulled back, and dropped a kiss onto her cheek, "I'll show myself to the guest bedroom, then, and maybe I can borrow one of my sweatshirts from you," he teased lightly, eyes twinkling with happiness at seeing Addi again. - morning? / how much do we want to rp jason and amara?
