Kaleb's green eyes watched the werewolf stand just still. Perhaps he was a bit more blunt and harsh than he really needed to be but at the same time, he was tired. A tired that wasn't easily explained no matter how hard he tried, it never seemed to carry across the way he actually felt. So he didn't. She mumbled something about not liking something about his questions and at the last bit, finally scurried off like a kicked puppy. She'd be back, he knew she would, she was the type to do something like this, get scolded and come back soon after. Having ... maybe only partially learned from it. Kalen simply dropped his head on the table, nestled in his arms, and in the quiet of the cottage... finally dozed off into a restless sleep.

Ivy cried for a bit, composing herself after some time. She knew he was right and she shouldn't have reacted so badly, but she couldn't help it. It was just who she was; Overly sensitive and a little stupid at times. Hearing the silence within her home, she assumed that he'd fell asleep.
At least I don't have to face him right now... Ivy showered, washing the funk of her mood away as the hot water eased her tensed muscles. She knew she still felt a bit weary of him, even more so when it came to talking now. Ivy would have to admit, she was afraid of saying or asking the wrong thing. She'd approach it like she did any other thing, however. One step at a time.
Once she'd dressed again, Ivy quietly emerged from her bedroom. Her steps were nearly silent as she peered around the corner, seeing him asleep at the table. She sighed quietly, relaxing for the time being. She began to pick up around her home, folding the soft blankets that had been splayed across the couch. She picked up the latest book she'd been reading, taking it to a shelf where some picture frames sat.
Ivy set the book down, her fingers brushing one of the frames. It was an old picture, of a man and a tiny woman with a little girl. It was her family and it was one of the only pictures she had of her parents. They'd died long ago when she was five from an attack by another pack. She had managed to hide, surviving until the battle was over. Afterward she was cared for by the rest of the pack, eventually growing up to live alone like she was then.
