I groaned in annoyance since the heat was gone, but got up reluctantly. Once I heard them unlock the door I was wide awake, The moment it opened I bolted out a bit, sliding on the mud. We weren't backed up to the back doors of a gate which confused me. We were surrounded by Military Raptors and military humans. That's when alpha showed up,

"How was the trip?" He said walking up and greeting me by scratching under my chin.

"They got pretty comfortable in there, the two slept the entire time," another human said walking up and showing him a time-lapse of the footage from the cage.

"Never seen her act like that with any of her last pack members, but most were males and they were all siblings. These two probably just have a closer pack bond than what Nightmare got to have originally," He said. One Military Raptor caught my attention, he must have been a new hybrid. He was larger in size and mainly black, I must have been staring because he met my gaze.

"Ah, it seems she found the new hybrid Kier!" One of the scientists said

"What is he?" alpha asked

"He is a mix between last year's accident incident hybrid and a raptor. Definitely a lot better, he isn't as bloodthirsty but acts more like your beta did. So he doesn't listen very well, but the entire situation here is within facility grounds so it's safe to have him out."

"Hm," was all Alpha said I know I am considered small but I'm not over-exaggerating, the size difference really was something.

I quickly jumped out onto the mud just as Nightmare had done. I almost fell but luckily managed to stay upright. After getting closer to Nightmare's side the humans talked more. There were raptors all around us and thats what i focused on. I didnt like all this attention, and all the huge raptors but i knew if i stuck by Nightmare's side i would be alright. I then leaned in a little harder up against Nightmare's side, feeling unconfortable as a small rain drop hit my nose.

I nearly fell over when she leaned into me, I smirked as I came up with an idea. I quickly grabbed some mud with my claw and threw it on her face, running away a bit but not too far so they would fetch me. I was laughing waiting for her to come and try to get me back.

I was minding my own self when mud came flying at my face. I dodged it but fell on my face because of the slipery mud. I growled a playful yet anoyyed growl as i picked myself up. I then cleaned the mud off my face. When Nightmare was least expecting it i bolted toward her, knocking her to the ground. I then picked up some mud on my tail and threw it on her face. "Dont mess with me or youll pay." I said with a playful growl and a smile on ym face. I then weaved around the humans and raptors playfully. I could tell both humans and raptor were shocked but i did it anyway, laughing as i went.

I was caught off guard but wiped the mud from my face and went running after her. We chased each other around flinging mud at one another, weaving through humans just barely missing them. Until at one point, Forest dodged it and I hit one of the Military Raptors with mud, it getting on their face. I froze, then took a slow step back making a small click noise. The Military Raptor removed the mud from his face but quickly grabbed mud on the ground and bolted after me. I ran screaming, he ended up hitting another Military Raptor then all of them started joining in on the fun. All except Zier.

I laughed as Nightmare chased me and i chased her. I hadnt had this much fun in forever. At one point Nightmare hit one of the raptors with mud. To my surprize he join in. Soon all the raptors were playing with us, well except for one. I laughed as mud flinged at my face bu doged it, making it hit the raptor who wasnt playing with us. I turned around, waiting for his responce. I was honestly a bit nervous.

The Zier wiped the mud off his face then lowered his head and began to growl. Immediately I stepped in front of Forest and began to growl with a hiss at the end. He jerked his head up clearly not used to being talked back to confused a bit but still mad. The humans laughed

"Looks like the big tough guy doesn't know how to handle a smaller female snapping back at him," My alpha said chuckling

"Not really, most raptors just avoid him and when he growls they put their head down in submission, you female is the first to retaliate. So next time there might be a fight I'm just warning you." The caretaker of Zier said.

He just huffed and ignored us after that with the occasional curious glance when he thought I wasn't looking.

Military Raptors don't have alphas instead they have caretakers since they are trained to handle themselves. They go wherever they want basically just always keeping watch and protecting the facility.

I was about to lower my head in submission to the raptor when Nightmare stepped in and protected me. I was releaved and made sure to stay away from him when i was playing. After some time of playing i rolled onto the my back with my toughn hanging down. "That was fun, and thanks for standing up for me." I said to Nightmare as i panted in the wet mud as the rain sprinkled down onto my stomach.

I laid down next to her slightly on my side with my legs kicked out. I was catching my breath so I was panting a bit. "Your welcome, I'm just used to getting in fights a lot because my last pack members were siblings. So we fought often then made up not long after, so it is just an instinctual reaction." I said breathing hard "But that was really fun, I was surprised when the Military Raptors joined in," I said with a chuckle. I turned my head to watch them but found Zier staring at me again, but this time he didn't turn his head away he just kept staring. I turned my head back to Forest giving him a nasty side-glare in the process.

I laughed before saying, "I used to get into play fights with my siblings so i understand. But yeah, i couldnt believe that the others joined....Except for that one." I then turned my head slightly to the male. He glared at me and i quickly turned away. "Anyways, what do we do now?"
