As the days had passed, Luna's wounds healed, though not completely yet. She gave a sigh as she laid in her den, looking out over the camp below her. The alpha female noticed over the past couple days Nicco was acting odd. She didn't like it one bit as it meant she had to watch him more closely. Luna was annoyed as it was that he tried to claim to be her mate when he wasn't. She walked out of her den, though she was still rather stiff from the past couple of days. Her mind often wondered as well to Hondo, unable to keep her mind clear of him for long. They both had packs to look out for, and she doubted that they would like it very much if they needed to merge or anything. Luna shook her head as she saw Nicco lead a hunting party out of the camp, the male glaring at Luna as he went. |

Hondo bounded through the woods towards the Rivercrest Camp. His legs churning throwing up pine needles as he went. He jumped iver a few streams and dodged trees. He was coming up on where he and Luna had met. He hadnt wanted to meet her that way, weak and hurt. But he was glaf he had met the beautiful Alpha Female. He was almost to camp when he stopped suddenly and looked into the eyes of that wolf Nicco. |

Luna heard a growl come from Nicco and she narrowed her eyes as she slowly stood up. The alpha female was still stiff from healing the past few days as she made her way towards the entrance of the camp. "Nicco! What is the meaning of this" she asked, though saw exactly why Nicco growled. "Hondo" she said, surprised the alpha male was there. "What brings you here" she asked as a smile formed on her face. She saw Nicco leaving out of the corner of her eye and planned to deal with him later. Luna knew Nicco would keep acting out, and she needed to deal with it before he did something stupid. |

Hondo took his eyes off Nicco and stared into the deep blue eyes of Luna. He then turned his gaze back to Nicco. "Luna, I need to talk to you. It could affect both packs." He said, "But it is a discussion for me and you. Not him." He said, as he emphasized the word him. He then looked back at Luna. "Its urgent that we speak now." He lied, only wanting to talk to her in private and to not let Nicco overhear. "Do you have somewhere private?" |

Luna looked confused when Hondo mentioned needing to talk. "Nicco, go patrol the northern borders. Now" she ordered before she looked back at Hondo. "Follow me" she said. She lead the male into the camp before she called over to a dusty gray bulky male. "Amaru, watch my den and make sure I'm not interrupted" she told him. Once she got a nod from the male, she walked into her den and made her way towards a somewhat hidden tunnel that lead into another den looking portion. "Amaru is my beta, and will make sure we aren't bothered." She sat down before she looked at Hondo. "Whats wrong?" |

"Nothing's wrong." Hondo replied. "I just needed to see you." He said, with a small smile on his face in the dim light. "Look. Ever since we parted, there hasnt been one moment I havent thought about you." He said. Not waiting for her to reply he said, "Luna, I love you. I can't live without you. You mean the most to me, and I'll do anything to make sure we can be togetjer. I'll protect you forever." He said, his face burning with embarrassment. He hadnt meant to say all those words, but he knew every one of them was true. |

Luna felt her cheeks growing warm. She couldn't believe what she heard. A shocked look was clear as the rising sun from a dark night. "I haven't been able to stop thinking about you either Hondo" she told him. "I don't know how we would be able to make this work without one of us leaving our packs, or merging them" she replied. Luna knew her pack wouldn't like the merging idea, and Nicco would try to take over the pack if she left. It would create chaos in itself that wouldn't be good. |

"I dont know how we will do it either." Hondo replied. "But all I know is that I want ti spend the rest of my life with you." He knew every word he said was true. He truly loved this wolf. He would give up anything and everything for her. "There has to be a way." He said. "We just gave to figure it out." Then he gave her cheek an affectionate lick. "I'll do anything for you." He said smiling. |

Luma stood up and paced slightly as she thought. "If I leave my pack, Nicco would take over and cause issues" she told Hondo. "My father picked him to be my mate, but I don't care for him like that. He's too hot headed and doesn't think before he does anything." A sigh escaped the alpha female before she looked at Hondo again. "I can't ask you to leave your pack. They would come to resent you, and Nicco might take advantage. The fool, he wouldn't leave us alone unless the packs merged." She then thought of their betas. Amara didn't have a mate yet, but he loved being Beta. In her pack the betas were always mates, but maybe it was time for that to change. |

"My pack is smaller, and it would be perfect for us to merge." He said. "I think we should do that. I dint think my pack would mind. But I'm not sure about tours." He though again about Nicco, and gave a slight shutter. "I can go back and tell them to merge, and you cab make the announcement with your pack. Abd if youd like me to stay for it I will." He said, giving Luna a positive look. |
