*None of your business.* She said. *Now what about the ones that lie passed out? You know there are working people that nearly couldn't get to work that you hurt!* Her eyes glimmered angrily as she matched his gaze. *Answer that, will you?*

Lucas raised a brow as she almost glared at him. He glared back. "They were drunk and were so close to me I couldn't handle it." He said. "Besides.. They've been hurting the poor animals around here, but I don't think you know about that, now do you, miss hero?" He sneered at her.

*Then report them! Leave it to people who can address this and the animals that were hurt! You can't just burn away any one you can, what if innocents get caught in the crossfire?* She said. *What you'll be happy with that blood on your hands and just get a beer or something?*

Lucas growled. "Do you have any idea who I am, little hero?!" He nearly shouted. He was getting angry now. "I'm a villain! You know, the bad guy?" He clenched his fists before putting them behind his back to calm himself down. With a simple breath, he was back to having no emotion. "I don't drink, either." He said with a hiss. "It's disgusting and I don't want to end up killing the entire city with my drunken state." He turned his head away from her.

She turned herself so that they could match eye contact again. She slapped him and growled, *I know exactly who you are monster. And do not call me Little.* Her temper was definitely beginning to leak out.

Lucas looked at her for a split second before he flicked her head and then jumped up onto the roof of the building he was next to with a simple movement. "You are very little, hero." He said and then disappeared before he would have killed her. He looked at his hands and had the urge to kill but kept it under wraps. For now, at least.

She felt tempted to chase him, yet knew she didn't have the time. She again spent her time running to her apartment and changing before she got back to her day job. She it her lip as she tried to bury her anger and desire to chase him down. As she finished her work, she wandered the streets in thought. Edited at November 12, 2021 05:34 PM by BlackClaws

Lucas leaned against the other side of the roof away from her so she couldn't see him while he tried to keep himself calm. He hated it when others tried to seem like nice people when they were insulting them for something that he didn't have to deal with. He shook his head and tried to pull his hood closer but it wouldn't move much.

She sighed as she loosened her hair from her ponytail and swung herself onto a fire escape. She leaned against the railing, almost dangerously close to the edge. Normally as an ambiguous hero, it wouldn't be thought of twice. But as an innocent looking civilian it could cause some. Yet.. it was empty, so she definitely thought she was on her own here.

Lucas heard her move and stayed still while he saw a few nearby birds coo at him and he tried to keep them quiet before they flew away. He sighed inaudibly as he looked around and shook his head, pulling his legs closer he placed his head on his knees he let out a shaky breath. His emotions were slowly cracking back up to the surface as he couldn't control his anger.
