The Dark Elf couldn't help but laugh,"And I'm sure Zelnes would have been honored by the attempt." She shakes her head in amusement, before pausing at his next words. "Marry?" Avoiding the whole love thing she responds,"I don't think I'm quite ready for marriage." She didn't know what love felt like, not very well. Her parents never showed their children or each other love. So Ayesha didn't really have a solid definiton of love. But she was willing to wait to find out. That's why she didn't want to marry Zelnes, because she didn't love him. She barely knew him.
Ayesha chuckles,"Perhaps, but you haven't seen how the Dark Elves hunt whenever a law as ancient as that is broken. An Elf marrying a non-elf." Ayesha glances at the moon, they had been up a lot of the night. "Darkness runs in every creature's veins, it's just up to them if they want it to control their life or not." She had learned that from Iscuri, the only Elf known in history to die without ever using even a hint of Dark Magic. Ayesha admired, missed, and envyed him. It would have been a whole lot easier if she had simply passed that night along with him.
In the deadly lightning storm that Narcoleptic had caused, it hadn't been much thunder or rain. Mainly dark angry clouds that shot out black, dark bolts. Perhaps Ayesha was safe because she held Narcoleptic boldly in her hand. But Iscuri hadn't been holding onto the blade, he had been just barely two feet over. Perhasps had she known that Narcoleptic could have saved her brother's life, she would have thrust the sword into his hand. Now she lived with the grief and guilt of knowing it was her fault he was dead. She yanks herself out of her thoughts and focuses on Kaiden.
"We could control our powers a lot easier. For me, it would completely turn me human as long as I wore it. For you, it would make it easier to have a demon and angel counterpart within you."
Came her response, a smile flickering across her face. "So by some means, yes, with those artifacts we could change our fates and shape them to what we want." She frowns slightly,"I remember the legends, and mother always said that the legends held the key to finding the items. That's how I found Narcoleptic. A sword guarded by lightning in the depths of a forgotten land, only weilded by the boldest and strongest."" She recites part of the legend that had allowed her to find Narcoleptic. Ayesha continues,"The forgotten land was the old castle ruins that had been the home of the Ordrus before it was destroyed during an attack of the Light Elves. Back when all the Elven races were enemies to each other."

Kaiden lays there and takes in the given information given to him, slowly nodding his head in understanding. He went quiet when she went completely silent, meaning that it was his turn to voice his thoughts. "It's strange. Almost like those two artifacts were created...just for us." It all sounded like pure coincidence on how such items came to be and almost too suspicious. There is always a price to obtaining such power, and he witnesses that himself, so he knows that it's a true statement. Exhaustion cloud his mind, moving one of his arms from behind his head, then uses it to cover his eyes with it. "I think it's time for us to sleep." He rolls onto his side, with her back facing her, and he closes his eyes. "You can shift into your true form, Eshere. I'll use my body to block anyone from seeing you if they manage to enter this room." A yawn left his mouth, closing his eyes as he truly beings to rest. ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ As he began to dream, his whole body went still and cold. Something told him to wake up, and so he did as his eyes shot open. He was in a misty forest, ghostly figures of animals roam around the mist, and at times some of them stopped to stare at the stranger. Kaiden nervously waves at the curious ghostly animals, and he was unsure how to feel about this situation. It was until a shadowy figure of a wolf approached him, the two locking eyes until a voice interrupted their moment of silence. "I've been waiting for you, Kaiden." A feminine voice echoes throughout the misty woods, the shadow wolf wagging his tail a slight bit. Maybe it knows who the mysterious woman was already. "Or shall I say, my son?" Feeling a presence behind him, Kaiden whips around to face whoever she was, but no one was there. "What'd you mean by that, stranger?" He questioned angrily, although he was interested in learning more, and his anger is taking over him when she mentioned the word son. "I'm sure you'll figure all of this out, Kaiden. Just follow your heart. Now we must say goodbye for now." ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ Kaiden awakes in the real world, sitting up rather quickly from the bed, and was a panting mess. The Sun gleams through the window, lighting up the room, and it was a sign to climb out of bed. So he did, walking over to his bag and digs through it to pull out some fresh clothes for today. He quickly changed clothes before Eshere wakes up herself, leaving the room and locks it behind him using a small amount of his magic before continuing down the hall. Leaving the building, heading to the workhouse where the two horses were staying. He noticed that the living men of the village were working on repairing the buildings, with Kaiden wondering if he should help them or not.

"Maybe they were, but they went through many owners before they disappeared and got lost." Came her response, before she half stifles a yawn. She shakes her head,"I don't need to be in my Elven form." Came her quiet response, before she closes her eyes. Her body relaxing as she scoots over to give Kaiden more room. Her breathing slowing down as she slips deeper and deeper into sleep. Somewhat happy and content, the Dark Elf had no issue falling asleep. Until she hit the REM part of sleep, of which the dreams came. It had been a while since she had nightmares, but Rondru's recent encounter had stirred them back up.
"Sister, are you ready to get married to Prince Zelnes?" Eshere looks up to see her older brother, Crown Prince Irzirn standing at the doorway. Their two sisters, Alephro and Envudo, standing to the left of her. The two were her Bridesmaids, since she didn't really have any other friends. Since her only true and close friend, her brother; Iscuri, had passed almost three years ago. Leaving Eshere cold and closed up to everyone, and despite her parent's best efforts they couldn't force the Dark Elf Princess to use her Dark Magic.
Eshere shrugs,"I guess. I don't really have a choice do I?" Alephro let's out a twinkling laugh,"Little sister, none of us royal have ever had a choice. But surely you'll grow to love Prince Zelnes. After all Mother grew to love Father." As Envudo steps forward to contiue to work on Eshere's hair working on making it easy to work with during the wedding, so that Zelnes could slip the bridal crown on Eshere's head, Eshere mutters. "Sure, after like 60 years." Envudo laughs,"Oh come on sister, you should be happy!" Eshere half sneers,"Happy? About what?"
Envudo continues to braid and work with Eshere's hair,"Well sister, you get to marry the Crown Prince of the Light Realm, meaning you'll be Queen!" Eshere wrinkles her nose,"Ruling over a bunch of Light Elves? I barely understand my own powers." A powerful Kingly booming voice interrupts,"Perhaps that is because you will not continue your lessons and trainings." All four siblings look towards their father as King Ohulzu stoops down to enter the room.
"Father."
Came the four voices in unison, the King flashing a half smile towards his children. Envudo continues,"Besides, Eshere, Prince Zelnes is very handsome and will make a great King." This murmur wasn't as quiet as the other half snarled words,"Yeah, and he could rule perfectly fine without me beside him." This time, all four children straightened up and fixed the little mistakes as they hear another voice. "Silence, Eshere, you will grow to like and perhaps even love him. Prince Zelnes will indeed make a great King, and you will rule beside him as Queen Eshere." The Princess bows her head slightly,"Yes, Mother." Ohulzu turns to greet his wife, moving out of the way to allow her in.
"Queen Rharenva. My love."
The Queen smiles at her husband, and perhaps her siblings didn't see it, but Eshere did. The Queen and King didn't really love each other but they didn't hate each other either, they had no feelings towards each other or anyone. Their souls had blackened a long time ago, before even Irzirn had been born. They only had children because they needed a heir and potential treaty marriage-children.
Rharenva turns her black gaze on her second oldest daughter,"Eshere. You will be fine." Eshere lowers her gaze as Envudo finishes her hair,"Of course, Mother." * As she walks down the asile, on the arm of her father, Eshere put on the face of a Princess. While inside she wanted to scream, wail, protest, and run. But she couldn't, and wouldn't. Reaching the end, Ohulzu hands off Eshere to Zelnes. Where Eshere kept the smile plastered on her face, their two skins contrasting each other. His a light tan of a Light Elf, and her's a dark tan of a Dark Elf. Eshere barely paid attention to the vows. They were simply about how this marriage would seal two kingdoms together and the other traditonal vows.
"Do you, Prince Zelnes Bhuzrot of the Light Realm, take Princess Eshere Ordrus of the Dark Realm as your wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until you are parted by death?" Zelnes light grey eyes bore into Eshere's dark blue one's as his low deep responds,"I do." The preist turns to Eshere,"And do you, Princess Eshere Ordrus of the Dark Realm, take Prince Zelnes Bhuzrot of the Light Realm as your husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until you are parted by death?" Eshere hesitates for just a brief second, but when she responds her voice was steady and calm.
"I do."

Kaiden was silently grooming Midnight, getting the dust off the stallion's coat, and he was thinking about his friend. He was worried about her, especially about how she's sleeping in quite late. Normally, she wakes up early to wake him up and open shop, but now she's sleeping in like a bat in the daytime. "Maybe she's still tired from yesterday. I mean, her powers did take a toll on her," he sighs and stops brushing the horse, "I'm pretty tired myself, but someone still has to keep an eye on the animals." He looks up to the stallion, a concerned look in the man's eyes as he steps back from the horse. "Should I go check on her?" He asked the horse, standing there for a few minutes in silence before speaking again. "I forgot that I was talking to a horse." Pinching the bridge of his nose, silently cursing himself out for wanting to receive advice from an animal. "I mean no offense by it, Midnight." Oh great, he was now apologizing to the stallion. ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ "I'm going to make sure that she was ok- No, I'm sure she's fine." He grumbled, placing both hands on his hips with a stern frown on his face, and was currently scolding himself. "She's an independent woman. I shouldn't keep bothering her like that. I'm sure that she'll grow annoyed of me babying her 24/7." Maybe he could drop and just see if she's still breathing. Well, that's pretty dark, and it's not like she died. "You know what? I'm going to check on her." He was getting ready to leave again, only to stop himself as he realized something. "I would just seem like a creep if I just stand over her like that," he glanced over his shoulder to stare at the horses, and Argos was staring at him, "Now I seem weird in front of the horses." He whips around, facing the two horses, with a determined look in his eyes. "I'm going to check on Ayesha to see how she's doing, so wish me luck." He says, offering them a soft smile, and Argos just released a soft knicker. "Alright. Bye." Waving the horses goodbye before leaving the workhouse, heading back to the building. ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ He was intercepted by Annabeth, who came out with a tray of food, from what the guesses, the food was from last night. "Oh. I, um." She gulps nervously, shuffling side to side a little. "I wanted to bring you two some food. When I knocked, no one answered." She hands him the food, a soft smile on her face. "So here you go. Some breakfast for the both of you." Kaiden stares at it; chimera meat, with dried up string beans, and bread. "Alright. Thank you, Annabeth." He moves past her, entering the building, and heads to the door of the bedroom they slept in. Unlocking the door from the other side before stepping in, closing the door behind him, and walks over to the bed, which is where he placed the tray of food down. "Ayesha. Breakfast." He says, settling a hand onto her shoulder and gently shakes her awake.

Eshere half grimaces as the preist continues,"You may kiss the bride." Though Eshere forces herself to lean forward, Zelnes leaning forward as well until their lips were pressed together. Eshere's lips felt ice cold to her as they were pressed againt Zelnes' warm ones. Thankfully the kiss barely lasted five seconds before the two pull apart. Keeping one set of hands clasped together as the now Prince Groom and Princess Bride turn to face the crowd of Dark Elves and Light Elves. The crowd surged upward, clapping and cheering. Though Eshere's smile wasn't as natural as the crowd's.
"To the future Kin-"
"Ayesha. Breakfast." Those two words cut her out of her nightmare. Her eyes flashing open and her tensing up, almost shooting out of bed until she realizes it was Kaiden. Forcing herself to relax, she slowly sits up. Ayesha blinks, her gaze focusing as she slowly wakes. "Huh?" Was the first thing she said, her blue eyes still sleepy. Before she registers what he had said. "Oh, thank you." Came her response. As she blinks at him. Before turning her attention on the food. Realizing....
"But you can have it, I'm not really hungry."
Perhaps it was nerves, or the attack last night, or the fact both of them were being hunted, or her nightmares. But Ayesha didn't feel hungry, and even after two years in the human realm. She still hadn't quite gotten use of the taste of human food. It may look somewhat the same, most of it, but it for sure tasted differet. Yawning, Ayesha shifts sitting up a bit more. She was feeling better after a decent night's rest. But another day of rest wouldn't hurt either of them.
"Oh! How's Midnight? I've got to feed Irgruc!"
Ayesha's first thoughts went to her animal companions, then swiftly to Kaiden. "How are you feeling?" She asks, remembering last night and how close that his demon and angel counterparts had gotten. Causing her best friend a lot of pain. The Dark Elf couldn't help but wish that she could help him. But perhaps by finding these legendary items, they would help both of them. Not by completely locking away their powers and Kaiden's counterparts.
But according to legends, the two; a bracelet and a amulet, could help keep you rooted. For Ayesha she would be able to use her powers without rotting away her soul, well not as powerfully as a normal Dark Elf as it would deplete some of her Dark Elf. But she never liked using her powers anyways. While Kaiden, it would help keep his demon and angel counterparts seperate enough so they wouldn't hurt him.

He squints his eyes as he noticed how afraid she seemed to be, including that nervous look in her eyes. She had a nightmare, while his dream was more of a sign. Was she thinking about her returning home and getting married to that Elf Prince? Kaiden wasn't going to pester her until she's ready to talk about it, yet her not eating breakfast was concerning. "I...understand," he murmured, eyeing the tray of food, and was a little bit disappointed that some of it was going to waste. When she mentioned the animals, he wavers off her concern. ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ "They're doing just fine," he shrugs his shoulders, "The villagers fed the horses already, and I've groomed them for the morning to get the dust off." He's most certainly not going to mention him rambling to their animals, not wanting to make himself seem crazy. "As for your hellhound, I 'accidentally' dropped some meat when coming here." He did air quotes when he said accidentally, meaning that he dropped some of the meat on purpose. "I let you sleep in more so your dark powers would settle down." However, he still is pretty tired from yesterday, but he's not one to admit such a thing. Kaiden clenched his hands and slightly bothered if he should mention his own dream. "I had a dream, but it wasn't like a nightmare," his eyes shifted to the side, "More like a sign." That's all the details that he was going to mention, and then he grabs a little bit of chimera meat before chewing on it slowly. ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ Kaiden was uncertain about that mysterious woman in his dreams and how she called him her son. He already knows that he was reincarnated as a human, yet he never did discover who his human biological parents were, as he was taken away by Mihr and his wife. Perhaps Mihr and Sophia were his human biological parents as they were the ones that did the reincarnation on him, replacing the soul of their unborn child with Kaiden's. Now that he thought about it, he feels a little bit of guilt as he replaced another's soul. ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ Not wanting to dig further into his theory as it might make him feel extreme guilt. "I'm good to travel today if you're okay with it as well. Unless," he looks towards the window, "You're willing to stay another day." Kaiden seemed rather impatient, craving to find the answers to freeing his parents and something to help contain both his counterparts to be more stable. Standing up, taking a small piece of the bread as he starts to devour it in a greedy bite. "I dreamt about a white wolf, so I have a spirit animal." He shrugs his shoulder, walks over to the window, and stares outside at the villagers fixing the village.

Ayesha could tell that Kaiden knew that something was off. But she didn't want to dive in about it. She could barely wrap her own around it. The nightmares had stayed away for two almost three years since she had fled the Dark Realm. But something had stirred it up. Not simply Rondru's visit, after all that first year after she left. Rondru caught up easily each time. Only her hellhound's swift shadow travel and their random patterns saved them again and again as they fled through realms. Realm after realm, until finally she had found a way to keep Rondru from finding her. Something or someone else was at play here, and Ayesha felt as if it wasn't only messing with her but Kaiden to.
At the mention of how the animals were just fine, she relaxes a bit. She loved the animals just as much as she loved her dead brother. Ayesha didn't call the animals 'pets', she called them companions. The Dark Elf felt as if pets was a term for slave, but companion meant friend and/or family. She stiffens again slightly at the mention of her powers, however simply inclines her head. "Thank you. But yes, my side affect has settled down. Though it was already beginning to settle down last night after Lionel worked his magic. So thank you." Kaiden began to mention his dream, and Ayesha's eyes focus as she focuses on him. Dreams were powerful.
Nodding, she processes what he says. A white wolf. Then she nods,"Of course. I'm ready to leave whenever you want. Irgruc will be happy to be on the move. As will Midnight." She felt better, at least physically. Mentally, well....Ayesha sighs to herself. Before focusing on the window and the movement outside. Ever since she first started showing signs of rebellion and unwillingness of being royal and marrying Zelnes. Her entire family, her servants, her guards, and most all the nobles and elders would not leave her alone. Warning her that no Dark Elf had ever outrun their fate, no matter how hard they tried. Even Iscuri, the most care free and rule bender, had warned her that.
In the last three years, she has had to use her powers. The side affects were getting worse. Her soul was chipped away at, even a little. Now they were about to go try and find Kaiden's parents, while trying to help as many people along the way. While fending off all of the hunters who were after them. She had a dream of her wedding to Zelnes. In such detail. The former princess wouldn't be as worry if it hadn't been so detailed. A healer had told her that a difference between a dream and a vision was that vision's had sharper and clearer details.
"Kaiden. Will you promise me something?"

Kaiden's lips thin, a nervous look in his eyes as he feels something or someone watching him from the shadows. He could tell that it wasn't the hellhound, but another creature of some sort, although, he can't place a finger on it. What else is interested in him now? This was honestly bothering him to the point he wanted to tell whatever it was to go away, yet he restrains himself as he doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of Ayesha. Shifting his eyes back to his childhood best friend, rubbing his hands on his pants as they were covered in buildup sweat. After that encounter that he had with the other two supernatural beings and the recent dream about the secretive woman-his nerves have been on edge. ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ Honestly, the both of them are getting rather nervous with their own little events, and now it'll probably get worse if they decide on traveling. What if such things were to happen again? They can't keep using their powers forever, less they become something they don't want to be. Kaiden side-glance the corner of the room, wondering if it could be there. His eyes widen a slight bit as he sees the ghostly figure of a wolf before it quickly vanishes away when it realizes that it's been discovered. Was that wolf keep an eye on him? Or perhaps that unknown woman? ≿━━━━༺❀༻━━━━≾ When she asked to promise him something his full attention reverts to Ayesha. "A promise?" He questioned, tilting his head as he wonders what she might say, and he thins his lips a little. He hopes that it was nothing too serious.

"If I lose my soul, if..." Ayesha hesitates, she could barely think about it. Much less say it. But finally she manages to spit it out, her blue gaze flickering away from Kaiden refusing to look at him. "If I use my powers to much to the point I lose my soul, will you...Will you promise me that you will end me? Quickly and painless, preferably. But just make sure that I'm....Dead." The last thing the former Princess wanted to do was be alive and souless. Especially, after what Iscuri had said. Or how the Dark Elf elders acted in the Dark Realm. She never wanted to be like that. Never. She sighs slightly.
Before sensing some dark prescene, not Irgurc. Though the Dark Elf could sense the Hellhound nearby. Distracted for a moment, her blue eyes close briefly. Muttering under her breath, her lips barely moving and there was pretty much no sound. "Irgurc, find what the prescene is. But be safe." Irgurc's prescene grew stronger as the hellhound entered the town. Hopefully still hidden in the shadows, in his shadow travel. Then Ayesha forces herself to focus back on Kaiden. Finally forcing her gaze back up to meet his gaze.

Kaiden's eyes widen in pure shock as she requested such a thing, his heart held a sharp pain and he winced a bit. "Ayesha...I don't think I can handle such a thing," he quickly takes her hands in his, "But, I'll find alternatives to help you when your soul goes empty." His gaze drifted down, seeming a bit unsettled to be discussing such a topic. "However, If I can't find an alternative. Then I'll accept your request, even if I have a strong resentment towards it." He forces himself to swallow whatever remaining spit was stuck in his throat, and he slowly lets go of her hand. Even though he doesn't want to let them go, and his fingers twitched in uneasiness. What is he supposed to do now that he made such a promise? He can't go back on it unless he wants their friendship to start to wear down. The ghostly wolf snarls viciously as the hellhound was sicked on him pretty much, causing the spiritual animal to lunge out from the darkness. Kaiden jumps with a start as he heard the growling from the wolf, his eyes fixated on such a creature, and he begins to shiver as the wolf's aura was icy cold. It was truly dead then? As the wolf leaps onto the bed, it fazes through Kaiden, and goosebumps prickled his skin. His lungs felt cold, feeling like it just freezes up on him. "Wait, Ayesha. That is the wolf that I told you about."
