"I've been told my laugh is very infectious," Rowan said solemnly. Then she grinned, "I may have a lot of weapons, but I can't hold onto much more without them being visible. And having visible weapons gets you killed much faster." She spoke without hesitation. Her time as a soldier taught her these things.

Laura shrugged with the tiniest of smiles. She liked this one. Very up front. She kept her guard up though, most magic users were not to be trusted. "You're not wrong, but we must get going. Standing out in the woods is no longer safe. Anything else we need to take off you before the guys scoop you up and we take off?"

"Nah. We are good to go," Rowan confirmed, "Any particular way I should do anything?" By this she meant should she be stiff? relaxed? limp? Rowan didn't want to compromise the faeries flying.

The guys smirked lightly as Laura replied. "Nope, just don't move to much. Good luck by the way, you might need it." The older woman smirked and she was off into the air and was closely followed by the two guys who took off and took one arm of Rowan's each. They hardely slowed down and held on to Rowan tight.

Rowan let herself relax as she watched the passing scenes. She watched in awe at the passing scenery. Flying seemed so... unreal.

((No problemo))
The guys watched as the town outskirts approached, closely followed by the actual town, the town square was where all the attention suddenly occurred. Faeries on the ground looked up and immediately knew that they had some sort of prisoner that was arriving. In fact, multiple started throwing things believing the young woman with a strange aura to be some sort of monster. By the time they reached Kori's place, Laura had already filled the older faerie in on what was happening. She had already sent a messenger to go get Alvaro and watched as they set down the young woman. Her eyes were filled with aged wisdom and she smiled lightly, she could feel the blood running through this you lady's veins. An immortal no doubt. "What is your name child?"

While people were throwing things at her, Rowan just smiled. Behind that smile she was sorta detached from what happened around her. Rowan did truly smile at the women, though. She had that sort of smile. "I'm Rowan," she introduced. The habit of leaving out her last name had become second nature. She had been 'Rowan Stonewall, illegitimate princess' then, 'Roman Stone, hero of the Second War' Meaning, she went by first names only. Last names only made things complicated.

Kori chuckled softly and dismissed the guys who had brought Rowan here, they left their packs that were filled with Rowan's weapons. This left Lauren, Kori and Rowan alone. "I believe I've heard the name Rowan before. Daughter of King Aldwin but not really, daughter of Queen Gwendolyn and that disgusting other immortal who I hope burns in a fire. I'm not assuming you are this girl. For that would be rude of me. But you do look greatly alike with the pictures I've seen of her. It's most likely a coincidence of course, poor girl, has been gone for quite some time. King Aldwin has spoken a few times how he misses her but knows she always wanted to be free. Poor man, he ages with time. Queen Gwendolyn though, she barely seems to age. Odd though. I'll have to look into it later." Kori smirked lightly and winked at Rowan as if sharing a secret. "Oh I went on a tangent again huh. Sorry dear, I tend to do that more now. Well anyways, what brought you to our border? The people believe you to be a monster but I can tell you're not. The aura around you, although rare, is not a monstrous one." The woman smiled lightly and the mark on her face glowed a bright green. Her whole body held more grace than even the graceful Lauren had. Kori was powerful, her age a big factor in that. She and Alvaro also seemed to be the only two in the town with marks on their faces.

Rowan's darker skin, a stark contrasting with her mother's, paled at the wise woman's words. She shook her head, glancing at the lady who had captured her out of the corner of her vision, "I... I suppose the King and Queen will most likely forget about her soon enough. Nothing memorable, other than her heritage." Rowan choaked on her words, but spit them out. She had spent too long looking for a way out of the Royal life to have poeple start believing she was a Princess again. And her father being an Immortal? Rowan supposed it wasn't out of the realm of possibilities, as she had only met him when she was a baby. Perhaps that was why her.. aura.. was strange. A half immortal.
wait
Her mother not aging? Rowan had always known Gwen had some magic, but am immortal?
Elisabeth
Her mother's best friend. Who also didn't age. And how they both shared knowing looks when someone mentioned death and growing old.
Could her mother be an immortal?

Kori chuckled softly, Laura seemed slightly confused by the sudden talk of queens and kings and the older woman waved her away. "You can leave Laura, Alvaro will be here in a moment anyways. Plus, it's not like this one can sprout wings and fly out of here." Laura nodded and hopped out the doorway, disappearing for a moment before flying back up into view. Kori looked at Rowan and simply said. "Love is not something easy to forget Rowan. Remember that. Anyways, you still haven't answered my question, what were you doing so close to our borders? They tell me you were stalling when they found you. So who told you of our border?" Kori didn't seem upset or anything, just curious. Despite her age, she still couldn't understand humans and their complexity.
