I have no idea, so don't look at me. As for Julian figuring out he's fighting his bro? I mean it could happen now but he just doesn't make a big deal out of it and then he calls up Jason after the fight like we need to talk or something. We could push it back to the next fight though, if you want.

this fight is good for that. mb one of the heroes are out and the villain group jumps them - then calls for backup? then we have a set up+ fight. mb its sword guy who gets jumped. he seems like the one who WOULD call for backup and not be too proud *cough sandstorm cough*

It wasn't often when Harrison had this much free time on his hands. Being an Elite hero meant that most of the time he was fighting crime and kicking ass, but this new mission had been sort of quiet. Not that he was complaining really, sometimes it was nice to have a nice laid back day, but it had been quite a while since the last fight, and Harrison was getting antsy. He couldn't tell if the villains were actually gone, or if they were prepping for something big, something he would not like. Because Harrison had nothing to do he'd taken to going on jogs to get out all the extra energy that training didn't get out of him. He didn't go out in costume, just was normal Harrison Blair, normal guy by day, kickass super hero at night. Well, not really at night, it kinda just switched whenever he was called, but still, it sounded cooler that way. ~~~~~ Julian had to admit that Carla and Harvey were a formidable duo. With Harvey's mechanic powers, and Carla's tech knowledge, the two combined could find out anything they wanted to. The two were the only reason why they were now stalking Harrison Blair, elite hero, also known as Liquid Steel. They'd managed to hack into the hero system for a singular minute, that one minute had given Harvey enough time to memorize one, single name Harrison Blair. He was a boring dude in Julian's opinion, the exact type that people saw when they thought of a hero. With his annoying smile and helpful personality. Julian wanted to barf. So even though the plan was to basically paralyze or kill the guy so they would have one less enemy to deal with, Julian didn't really feel too bad. After all, what was a few deaths if Marina could promise a better world? The plan was for Julian and Harvey to corner Harrison and ensure that he would no longer be a threat. Simple enough. Wearing the special shoes Harvey had created, Julian nodded at Harvey and the two jumped off the building, the shoes absorbing the impact as the two surrounded Harrison in the crowded alley he'd been jogging through. ~~~~~ It wasn't the first time Harrison had been cornered by a villain, but it was the first time he'd been cornered by two super villains. Harrison didn't have any of his gear with him, and was basically completely unarmed, so basically, he was fucked. "I highly suggest you cooperate with us, otherwise I can't guarantee you'll be left alive, Liquid Steel." Harrison swore under his breath as the big dude, who he believed to be Boulder, spoke. So they had his identity, it wasn't that hard to get but still, he wasn't sure who else they'd told about it, and that was worrying. "You couldn't even let me finish my jog?" Harrison groaned, and although his body was relaxed, his eyes were watching, gauging the duo's reactions. His acting skills were superb, and he could tell he'd pretty much caught the two off guard with his nonchalant behavior. It gave him the split second he needed to reach into his pocket and grabbed his pocket staff. With a click of a button it was a staff, and then with a rush of power it was a long rod, strong enough to hold his body weight. Without thinking much about it, he vaulted himself over the Boulder dude and was out on the street. He took off, turning the pole into a bo staff as he ran faster, hearing a shout from the small mech woman as the duo began to race after him. Okay, so now he was truly fucked. A bright idea sprang into his mind as he realized he was an absolute dumbass. Bringing the watch on his wrist up to his mouth as he dodged predestrians, he began to speak into it. Declaring that he was having an emergency, he sent a message out to all his team. "Hey guys so I- oh shit sorry," Harrison paused as he barreled into a woman, quickly dashing away as something hit the space he'd been standing a moment before. "So I'm being chased down by two people, out of costume, please help because I'm pretty sure they want to murder me." Harrison was running out of breath as he ended the message, he'd already been jogging before this and had not been saving his energy to flat out run. He just hoped the others would get there soon, he wasn't sure how long he'd last before the villains caught up with him or cornered him. ~~~~~ Addilyn had actually been prepping to go to the gym when her watch practically screamed at her as she received an assignment. It seemed like Steel had gotten himself into trouble, of course it would be the poor little guy out of all of them.

Neon had already been on patrol when Liquid Steel sent out a distress call. Unfortunately, she was currently wrapped up in a situation with civilian hostages, with some crazy guy making outrageous demands. Neon was forming a plan, and really couldn't leave at that moment. She send a fast voice message through her communicator, "I'm currently wrapped up in something. Sorry, Steel, hostages on the line." With that, Neon silenced her comm once more, and turned back to the police on the scene to give them directions. === Jason, however, was available. He sent an affirmative that he was near Liquid Steels coords, and donned his new suit. He had figured that with the new level of danger these fights would bring, he'd need real armor. The new suit had just come in earlier that day, and this was as good of time as any to break it in. The top part of the suit was made a gray, bullet-proof material, with one sleeve. Plates of armor were layered over it. The pants were made of darker material, with armored boots that went up to his knees that were still flexible and easy to move in. His suit maker had made them out a sound muffling material - invented by herself - so Jason's already quiet footsteps would be silent. One arm was bare, with a wrist guard in place. He kept that arm bare so that it would still be possible to touch someone to gain their power, while the other hand was covered so if he wanted to retain a power and still punch, he could. The sheath for Jason's longsword was now on his back, with the smaller knives hidden throughout his body. The mask was also new, and was made with new technology as well. After that hero had almost unmasked him, Jason had been antsy about it happening again, so he'd asked for something that was more difficult to remove without knowing how. The answering mask had been sleek, a black piece that covered his entire face, although with a touch to the temple it could retract the lower mouth portion. The technology was a nearly invisible pad below his ear, which could be pressed to activate the mask. === After arriving on the scene - the lasted power Jason had absorbed has been speed, luckily, so it didn't take him long - Jason quickly took stock of the situation. They were closing in on Liquid Steel, in an area with very few civilians. Those who had been there were quickly evacuating. To take the attention off of LS, Jason whistled, "Aye! Can you not?"

Harrison was holding his own, just barely. The two villains that were chasing him were more energized than he was, which gave him a severe disadvantage, but it seemed like that he would just have to hold on until backup arrived. He hadn't taken the time to look at his watch, but he assumed the three buzzes alerting him to new messages were a good thing. If they weren't, well then Harrison was probably gonna die. So far, he'd taken to throwing random obstacles behind him to stall Boulder and the small one, even if wasn't for long, it was still a moment extra, and he desperately needed those moments. Harrison also grabbed random things, and threw them desperately over his shoulder, hoping that it would distract the two villains. From what he could hear, the small woman, Mechanic was working on something, while Boulder was calling for his own back up, not good news. Although he'd put up a decent fight, Harrison was exhausted, and his once decent sized lead on the duo was getting smaller. It was then that he heard a whoosh and something slid over his head, and he immediately crumpled to the floor. Somehow, in all the fucking running Harrison was doing to stop this exact thing from happening, Mechanic had fashioned a weighted net, and now Harrison was squirming about, trying to get the stupid thing off. ~~~~~~~ Harvey and Julian approached the net with quick steps, they were a little less fresh than they'd been before, but they were definitely in better shape than the trapped, squirming hero on the ground. Just as Harvey took out the sleep serum they planned on using to basically kidnap Harrison with, someone yelled off in the distance. Both Harvey and Julian spun around to see who it was, and Harvey immediately released a round of rather creative curses. "Of course he had to show up," Harvey muttered, glaring at the villain who'd held her hostage last time. Perhaps she should be grateful that he'd saved her from being captured, but they weren't on the same side and she wasn't gonna be thankful when his ass was back again to fight them. "You two look like a perfect match for each other, so run off and take care of him while I deal with bright boy here." Harvey spoke to Julian as he eyed up the other man, they needed to get the hero team down a member, and distracting the ex-villain while Harvey got Harrison out of there was the easiest plan. "Okay, but make it quick." Harvey nodded at Julian's words as she turned back around to face the squirming hero. Julian approached Recrimination with focused eyes, putting himself between Harvey and the new enemy. "You should really have stayed out of all this Recrimination, it would be better for all of us." Julian's voice was different in costume, more hoarse and cold. As he spoke, he pulled out two twin daggers, preparing for a fight with Rec. ~~~~~~~ Addilyn made it just in time apparently, Mechanic was trying to pin down Liquid Steel and inject something into his system. She was pretty sure it was nothing good, and she didn't have much time to try and shoot Mechanic without shooting Steel on accident as well. Although she hated one on one fighting, for once it was her only option. Ignoring whatever the hell else was going on, Addilyn raced forwards, completely invisible, and kicked Mechanic hard. The smalled woman practically flew through the air, Addilyn admired her spectacular kick for a moment before returning to Steel. "Shadow is that you?" Steel's voice was weaker than normal, he sounded tired, poor dude. "Yea, it is, I'm gonna get you out hold on, don't move." With quick movements Addilyn sliced up the net, freeing Steel just as Mechanic rammed into Addilyn's side. Forcing herself to stay invisible, Addilyn hit the ground hard, the weight of Mechanic on top of her. Okay, so maybe it hadn't all worked out, but Liquid Steel was free now, so once he got his ass over there and helped Addilyn to her job things would probably go much more smoothly. Hopefully.

Jason winced slightly. It was different fighting 'Boulder' now that he knew his secret identity. Still, the fight must go on. "Eh, you know how the job market is," he moved his hand in a see-saw motion, oozing a no-fucks-given attitude, "Plus, it's kinda an unwilling partnership. The wonders of blackmail, huh? But you are tryin' to take my teammate, so..." enough small talk. Jason zipped forward - super-speed was such a great power - and with his uncovered fist, threw all of his weight into a punch. Hitting uncovered skin, Jason activated Boulder's power on impact, making the power behind the move much stronger than if it had just been his own strength.

Of course Recrimination had super speed of all things, the one thing that Julian's powers really couldn't do much against. His rock form was much too slow, and before he knew it Recrimination was in front of him, punching Julian. Then of course he had to add insult to injury by using his own power against him, like an asshole. This of course made his two daggers go flying out of his hands, though he luckily had enough time to turn into his rock form before hitting the ground, saving himself a broken rib or two. Julian didn't give Recrimination much time to think, throwing a small knife at him a mere second after he hit the floor. Although he was quite sure that said knife wouldn't actually hit the guy, it gave him the moment's distraction he needed in order to turn off his ability for a split second in order to be a bit faster and stand, coming face to face with Rec. He sent a swift kick at Recrimination's knee before jumping backwards, trying to avoid any further retaliation. In that moment, Julian's eyes landed on Recrimination's exposed arm, and the unique scar that trailed up jaggedly across his left arm. The blood drained from his face as realization washed over him. So his dumbass brother was in some deep shit apparently. Instead of going off on Jason, Julian merely asked, "so we still on for the peach festival? I promise my guys won't attack yours while we're out." Julian winked, letting his stupid little brother know that he was on to him. ~ Addilyn's form flickered in as a distraction as she and Mechanic rolled around on the ground. Turned out that the woman had repaired her weird mech grab-y arms and they seemingly remembered Addilyn, pecking at her mercilessly and even trying to rip off her mask in the process. Steel was busy panting heavily, trying to get out of his shock of being discovered. "A little help over here red head," Addilyn shouted as she rolled about with the smaller woman, trying to avoid the arms and punches that were being thrown at her. It only took Steel a few seconds to pull Mechanic off Addilyn, both of which were now panting a bit from rolling around on the damn floor trying to knock out the other. As Mechanic tussled with Steel, Addilyn sat up, readjusting her mask just as Leap Frog landed silently behind Steel. It only took Addilyn a moment to whip out a throwing knife and send it straight for the woman. At the last second Leap Frog noticed it coming for her and leapt out of the way, narrowly avoiding a knife in her leg, though it managed to cut her a deeply before hitting the wall of the building behind her with a dull thud. Addilyn went invisible again and got up from her spot, glancing around at the surrounding buildings, there were still people missing from this fight, and that worried her.

The knife missed him, but the kick to the knee didn't. His leg buckled, although Jason didn't pay the throbbing sensation much mind. It would hurt like a bitch later, though. When Julian apparently realized who he was, Jason pushed off the panic and snorted, like the answer was obvious, "Duh, dipshit. This isn't the worst fight we've had." Even as he spoke Jason charged forward, turning into rock and grabbing ahold of Julian's shoulders (he wouldn't ever be able to think of him as Boulder), trying to wrestle him down, "Dude can you please like, let me knock you out or something. 'Cuz we haven't come up with ground rules for fighting, and I'd rather not piss you off more." Their faces were close together, so Jason grumbled this all under his breath, where there was no chance for anyone else to hear. - neon isn't coming, and idk if sandstorm or anyone else from the villain group should? this is kinda already a big fight and idk if the heroes would be able to hold them off
