Nyxeris had drowned himself in his game. He wasn't paying attention to how loud he was getting, Sabrina or anything else in his surrounding area. He was locked into his game almost completely and he was growing his winning streak by the minute.

He looked up from his game while there was a loading screen, waiting for the next round to begin. He took a second but eventually his eyes landed on Sabrina by the stairs.

"Oh- sorry." Nyx grinned. The loading screen vanished and the next round started. "This is so fun!" Nyx turned his attention to the game again with a giant goofy smile on his face.

Sabrina left him to do his own thing and he was perfectly happy with that. He won a few more rounds but soon enough he was beginning to feel the fatigue from both not sleeping when he got here and having just come out of a very ferocious battle.

He ended up setting the laptop on the ground just seconds before he ended up falling asleep. He was on her couch which was really just becoming his bed these days. It was only the afternoon, just the beginning hours of it and if Sabrina came downstairs the only thing she'd find is Nyxeris asleep. At least it was quiet now, for her sake.

His wings slowly came back while he slept, regaining energy seemed to speed up the effects just a little. Unfortunately the only thing to come back were his wings this time.

Nyx slept peacefully, from the outside. His dreams consisted of him walking through a dense forest for a long time. He felt like he had to keep going, towards this mysterious goal that drove him forward. He felt exhausted, it felt like he was only walking through a loop. That was until he found his way to a meadow. He recognized it as a Seelie Court meadow but he couldn't remember exactly where this place was located.

A mysterious woman appeared right in front of him but further into the meadow than he was at the edge. This woman looked like Annalise, and felt like the enemy. He watched as somebody else materialized in front of her. Nyxeris felt a strange connection to this one, like she was a friend or someone he needed to protect.

Nyxeris rushed forward towards this strange woman who seemed to be going to him as well. He watched as the first woman drew a sword and before Nyx could do anything, thurst it through the second womans abdomen.

Nyxeris cried out in a mix of anger and pain, a strong mix of emotion that could almost tear you apart. The dream faded away just as he got to them, and the first woman's face seemed to be smiling.

Nyxeris woke up laughing, and quickly silencing himself in case Sabrina woke up. There was no light coming in from the windows which immediately told him that it was nighttime. He didn't remember that nightmare he just woke up from, only the powerful emotions he had experienced there.

The blanket fell off of him and onto the floor. "Oh.. When did that get there?" Nyx murmured, getting off the couch and putting it swiftly back where he was just laying. Sabrina must have put it over him while he was sleeping. That was nice of her..

He stretched and as he did such his wings fluttered. Nyx almost tried to turn in a full circle to see if they were really on his back but that would've been dumb. He just went to check in the mirror.

"They're back!" Nyx grinned, excited for all the possibilities he could do with his wings now. He'd have to hide them if he went outside but .. not all the time.. He didn't have to hide them all the time..

Sabrina said he had to stay at home all day but that didn't mean he would listen to her. When did he ever? He looked through the fridge and found a few berries of which he just grabbed and popped into his mouth. At this point Sabrina was waking up and Nyx didn't want to bother her while she had to prepare and leave... so he went back to the couch, poisitioned himself and pretended like he was sleeping with the blanket over him and his wings.

If everything went right, she wouldn't know he was pretending. If needed, he could even use a bit of illusionary magic here and there.

Nyx continued to pretend like he was sleeping until he heard the door shut and her footsteps trail away. He already ate earlier, so when he got up from the couch to follow her, he didn't stop for anything on the way there.

He followed the same path she went down, crossing the streets the crossed. He stayed back a few feet so she wouldn't immediately spot him should she turn or look back. He had shifted so his wings no longer appeared, his eyes were blue again and so on.

He didn't enter the building after her, however. He left and circled around the area for a while, enough for her first class to pass. Nobody noticed him which was good for the moment.

Finally the time passed and the first class was finished. He entered the building and walked slow compared to his usual speed, trying to find where her classroom might be. He passed by a little outside area kept for battle? What else would that place be there for if not for sparring?

Nyxeris walked past her classroom and stood at the end of the hall waiting for the people to leave their classrooms and head to the next, like Sabrina had told them they did when he questioned it. Tick, tick, tick.. the clocks were starting to annoy him.

Nyx spotted Sabrina when a swarm, he was exaggerating, stormed out of the classroom. He walked by her, making sure he was seen. He wasn't sure if she would recognize him right away so he turned and gave her a short smile on the way past, with a small detail.. his eyes were black when he did that. It as the first tell, as if he'd show his wings. He switched them back the second he was past her.

"I was just taking a lovely little walk when I stumbled across this quaint building." Nyx lied smoothly, and Sabrina would know it was a lie but it was still fun to say. "Economics? That's what I was supposed to be reading?"

Nyxeris didn't intend to read the book, only pretending to and hadn't even checked the cover. "It's so boring to listen. I'd be at home all day staring at the wall. Or painting the walls with paint."

Nyxeris turned his attention to the stranger, Max, who walked up to them. Nyx immediately didn't like the guy but decided he wasn't going to outwardly show it. He'd play nice, sort of.

"If you'd let her finish her sentence, you'd know that we're very good friends." Nyx sighed. Boy, this guy annoyed him. At least fae in his book had some class when trying to win over a girl, fight a battle for them.

"Now, sit down." Nyx smiled, inviting the both of them. "We've got a lot to talk about. And even he can stay if you want, Sabrina."

That wasn't his plan at all, he had to get the dude to say no or say yes but leave quickly. How was he going to do that..?

Oh! He had an idea pop into his head. "How have you been? I haven't seen you for.. just a few hours. Enough time for something to go wrong." He shot a glance at Max when he said the word wrong.

Nyxeris used his illuionary magic to show his true form to Max while Sabrina would only be seeing his shifted to human form. Max would now be able to see his wings, his black eyes and even though not a lot had changed since he had left his book.. Nyx added a few things from memory of what he looked like back inside the book, all bloodied and war torn. That would surely drive away any rational human, weaklings. But if he insisted on staying anyway, Nyx could do much worse.

Nyx nodded along with Sabrina's words, "Yep. We do that."

"I just got bored at home." Nyx shruged, waiting for the effects to take place on his enemy across the table. He couldn't help a grin spreading across his face from when Max ran away. "What a coward." Nyxeris chuckled. Sabrina was the only human he knew that wouldn't run away like that, though.. He had shown Max himself back when he was bloody and more of a war struck way compared to what Sabrina had seen.

"What do you mean I can't? I just did and it went very well. " Nyx pretended like it was a completely normal thing to do. "I could've done so much more."

"I just wanted to check out the place you had to be kept in. It seemed very boring and here we are, it is boring." Nyxeris shrugged. He planned on staying for at least half of the day. "While we're here, what's that for?" He pointed to the rest of the area.

"Is it for sparring?" Nyx questioned. He couldn't imagine anything else. Why were there lines in the ground? It made no sense. While they were chatting Nyx was palnning his nex move. Maybe he'd stick around and make sure Max didn't come back ,maybe he'd just just go get some food or explore a bit.. if Sabrina permitted. Both options worked for him.
