Luna seemed hesitant to lean on him after he fought the bear. She didnt want to hurt him by accident. "It's just on the other side of the creek that's near the cliff" she told him. She was grateful it wasnt oo far, but the pack never crossed the creek, especially since there was the cliff. There wasnt much of a need to add just a few extra tail lengths just to risk going down the cliff to mark it.

"Oh ok." He said smiling. "It's fine you want hurt me." He added, seeing her hesitate. He could tell she was in alot of pain. As he helped her walk towards the creek he looked at her. "Will your pack attack me if they see me near you?" He asked. He was already injured and he didnt want to get injured further. He knew hjs pack would start searching by night, so he would have to hurry back.

Luna shook her head. "They wont attack so long as you dont charge at them, they will listen to me if I tell them to stand down" she replied as she heard a couple of her pack mates calling out to her. She heard one voice in particular and sighed. It was the male Nicco that her father wanted her to pick as her mate. While she didnt want to go against her father, she didnt care for the male like a mate would. In fact, she didnt care for him at all. He was too stuck up in her opinion.

Hondo could hear her packmates calling, and knew that he would have to hurry back. But their was something about Luna that he couldn't get out of his head. It sounded weird, but he knew it was true. He liked Luna, she was strong, wise, honest, and beautiful. It was everything he wanted in a mate. "I'm not that stupid." He joked. "Even I know that I'm no match for them." He replied.

Luna gave a small nod. "In your current state, no, you arent" she replied. She wasnt about to tell him that she could have a chance to take Hondo down herself if she were in better shape, but that was just how she was trained. Sure, there was still a good chance her tail would be handed to her, but she wouldnt ever admit to it. Before she could say anything else, she spotted Nicco, the large dark brown coated male coming towards them. "Back off of her" she heard him say. "Nicco! Stand down" she snapped at him. When she saw he wasnt listening, she bared her teeth. "NICCO! I said to stand down." A cold low growl escaped her throat as she narrowed her eyes. She knew Nicco took the thought of being Alpha male into his head way too far when he wasnt even Alpha blood. He stopped short when he heard her growl before he narrowed his eyes at Hondo. "What did he do to you my mate" he asked, causing Luna to snap at Nicco's shoulder. "First off, you are not my mate. Second, he saved me and helped me get back here after that elk took off with me. Get back to camp, or, better yet, go patrol" she ordered him. She glanced back at Hondo. "Sorry about him" she told him. Luna saw a couple other of her pack mates, one snickering at Nicco getting yelled at as a female made her way over. "Alpha, do we need to warn the healer" she asked, seeing Luna's state. Luna shook her head. "I will be alright" she replied to the female.

As Nicco gtowled at him Hondo just stood there doing nothing. He knew Luna would take care of it. He was suprised about how much he trusted her. "Its ok, its fine for him to react like that. Youblead a strong pack." He said, smiling. "But if I must," he looked at Nicco, "I'll leave now." He said, eyeing the protective male.

Luna glanced back at Hondo when he mentioned leaving. She for some reason didn't want him to go, though she knew she couldn't ask him to stay. He needed to get himself looked at as well, and he had an important job like she did. A small sigh escaped her as she nodded. "Thank you" she said before she allowed a smaller black coated female approach her and a dusty brown male head to her other side to make sure their alpha wouldn't fall as they made their way to the camp. Luna looked back as she walked, watching Hondo.

I dont want to leave he thought as he looked at her. I want to stay with you forever. He turned and started to limp back to his. But he turned one final time, he and Luna locked eyes for a moment, and he watched her til she was fully gone. Hondo sighed, and turned and hobbled back towards his camp.

Hondo stared out from his den. Every day since he had gotten back from Rivercrest Camp he had been thinking of Luna. He missed her company alot, and missed her greatly. His wounds were starting to heal, which was a good sign. No signs of Rivercrest threats from Nicco yet. But he wouldnt be suprised. Luna had rejected him in front of Hondo, and he might want revenge. He just had to see Luna. Hondo got up out og his den and saw Sneaker a little ways away. "I'm going to Rivercrest on some important notes." He lied, and before Sneaker could reply, took off towards Rivercrest Camp.
