"Oh you're right.." Lily said eyes widening. "We could even try and get jobs as farm hands that live on site!" She said suddenly excited. Her ears perked up and her eyes filled with excitement. "Keanu.. This could really work.." She said looking at him eyes wide.

"It really could work. Wait a minute we could see if this farm is looking for farm hands." He said excitedly his tail matched his excitement. "We could go down there right now and ask we possibly start today so we no longer have to live in that old building." He let his excitement show without any attempt to hide it. Animals made keanu feel safe even if some where mean and if he could work them it was living a luxury kind of job in his eyes.

Lily was practically trembling with excitement. She had to get up and jump around to let out the energy. "Keanu we could have a life! A good life!" She squealed. She shook her head and hands with excitement. "We need to go check! We Have to go check!" She said not able to contain her excitement.

Keanu jumped up then sighed. "I need to hide my tail real quick. It would make us look like we aren't actually serious about the job." He said while he tucked his tail into his pants. "This feels so wrong but let's go." He said while leading the way to the drive way. "We could actually have a good a life." He whispered repeating what Lily said.

Lily followed getting composure back. "We got this," she whispered under her breath. She walked next to Keanu and grabbed his hand instinctively out of nervous energy. She dropped his hand and looked at him. "Sorry I got nervous.." She mumbled looking down.

He felt lily grab his hand then let go. Looking over at her for a second he reached over and grabbed her hand. *Ignore the urge to let go. She needs this.* He thought. Now standings in front of the front he looked over at her. "Do you want to knock or do you want me to?" He asked as he looked at every detail of the beautiful farm house.

Lily took a deep breath. "I will," she said confidently. She reached her hand out, paused, then knocked. She shut her eyes for a moment trying not to get to anxious. She opened them again when she heard footsteps coming toward the door. She straightened up completely.

A woman with a messy bun wearing a plain colored shirt and jean opened the door. She looked them both over then asked "Can I help you to or am I going to need to run you both of?" Keanu cleared his throat before he spoke. "We where wondering if you where looking for any ranch hands." Keanu nervously glanced over at Lily for second before looking the lady in the eyes.

Lily squeezed his hand for support. "We have been looking for jobs for ages and your farm seems so nice. I can garden and we are both really good with animals! Also we are both fairly strong and can do heavy lifting if needed!" She said quickly. "Sorry I talk really fast sometimes," she apologized looking down.

The lady smiled at them and wiped the flour on her hands onto her pants. "You two look scrappy enough to do some farm and we are looking for some farm hands. Alright well why don't you two sit on the porch swing until my husband gets back which won't be long now. So don't go wondering about quit yet oh and I'll put in a good word for you two since you look nice." She smiled at them and went back inside. Keanu looked over at lily then walked over to the porch swing and sat down.
