Iris struggled more before she snapped. "That was my idea! I didnt want her with us, I didnt trust her, and I was right! She slowed us down" she said before Zane snapped at Iris to shut up. "I bought her to be my bride. After this we were going to retire, she would be mine" Zane said as Amara only pulled her legs closer, making it clear she didnt like the plan they had for her, never wanting to be part of it. Amara felt tears falling down her cheeks as Iris kept calling her a weakling, along with a few other, well, not so good words.

Orion started at Iris, then Zane, and then Amara, before taking a deep breath and stepping back. "So let me get this straight: you..." He pointed to Zane. "You bought her to be your bride after this expedition and you didn't even think about protecting her with decent armor and weaponry? Either you're the biggest idiot I've ever witnessed or you just don't care about her!" His tone began to rise and sharpen as he talked, anger slowly flowing into his voice with each word he said. "I thought I've seen the worst humans in all of the land before, but you easily eclipse them. You want her to be your bride but you treat her about as well as a rock!" He turned to talk to her, but at this point she had a few tears fall down her face, which made him even angrier. He pulled the dagger away from Zane's neck and put it away for the moment. "She's crying, and I know I may not be the one to know about how to comfort someone, but I would imagine that you would say a few words to comfort her, right?" He exhaled to calm himself down, but some of the anger still lingered. "Guards? Take her to another room, because I would like to talk to her a bit more after I deal with these three." Two of the guards nodded and escorted Amara out of the room, leaving Orion with the remaining three.

Iris glared at the one speaking. "Like I said, that was MY idea. I knew she couldnt be trusted" she sneered before Zane looked away, refusing to even look at Amara now. "I bought her for her bloodline and looks" he said. "Her bloodline produces twins easily, and she aint half bad looking." He looked over to Amara and glared at the guards. "Leave her alone! She's mine!" Amara let out a small scream, more of fear than much else, but she knew she couldnt fight. She wasnt strong enough for one, and two, she was far from being a fighter. The most she would be able to do was annoy them with trying to get free. Amara was shaking as she barely looked at them. "W-where are you taking me" she asked.

"Don't worry, we are merely holding you in a different room while he deals with the others." One of the guards told her, his face not changing as they reached the room and stayed still, waiting for them to be called back. Orion watched them carry off Amara before promptly pulling out the dagger and placed it against Zane's neck, drawing a hint of blood from his neck. Not enough to worry about, but just enough for him to feel pain. "You got her for her looks and her bloodline and not for anything else? You are just the worst." He stretched out his hands and mumbled a few words before lowering his arms. In a minute a group of undead beings slowly shambles their way into the room and stared at Orion, awaiting for orders. He pointed to Iris and the undead slowly surrounded her, inches away from her. "I think it's time to deal with you three. You..." He pointed to Iris. "You will become one of my undead. Let's see if you still call me a creep after this." He flicked his wrist and two undead pulled Iris back and into the group, with the other undead falling onto her. He walked to Caro and grabbed her bow before handing it to the captain of the guard, who proceeded to put an arrow in Caro's head, which Orion found deliciously ironic. He didn't even need for Sokoya to move before she had already wrapped up Zane in her coils, preparing to devour him. "Any last words, human?" She hissed quietly, enjoying his struggle. Amara was shaking still before she ran to a corner, not trying to escape, but just to try to find a place to feel safe, though that wouldnt be easy for her currently. Once she was in the corner, she pulled her knees up to her her chest again, watching the door she walked through. Amara worried as to what her fate would be after this, wondering if the others were alive. Zane winced from the pain, glaring at Orion. "That's what most of the women are doing now. Being sold so their families can make some profit" he said. He looked worried as Iris was taken down. He looked to Caro before he glared at Orion. "When we dont come back, more will be here" he said, though it was a bluff. Everyone knew not to go into the dungeon, but he hoped to scare the others into letting him go at least.

The undead store into Iris before dragging her away to deal with her and the lizard men guards dealt with Caro's body, leaving only Zane alive out of the three. Orion didn't believe Zane for even a second, not seeing any royal symbols or anything to believe that statement. "I'm sure that they will send more forces into the incredibly dangerous and well known dungeon to avenge you. And I'm the king." He walked away and sat back on his stone throne, leaving Sokoya to deal with him. Sokoya chuckled for a second before unhinging her jaw and clamping down on Zane, devouring him whome within a minute's time. "All three have been dealt with." Sokoya said after readjusting her jaw. "Want me to bring her back in?" She pointed to where Amara was escorted away from and Orion nodded. Sokoya slithered off and told the guards to bring her back, and they did just that, and Amara was brought back before Orion, who now felt a pang of pity towards her. "I guess we should start with your name and why you were sold to that imbecile. As of right now I see no reason to kill you, but I also see no reason to let you go.

Amara had remained in the corner, hearing the scream of Iris, and yelling of Zane. She did her best to hide her face with her cloak before she heard the guards walking over to grab her. She gasped a bit when they grabbed her and brought her back to Orion. It was easy to see she was scared before she looked at Orion. "M-my name is Amara" she said. "My father sold me to him because my family was starving, needing money to feed my siblings and keep their farm going" she said as she looked at her feet. When he mentioned not having a reason to kill her, she gave a small sigh. *Of course there is no reason to let me go. I bet Zane said something about me getting help* she thought as she kept looking at her feet.

Orion couldn't help but shake his head after Amara told him that her father sold her off so they could feed the family. it's evil like this is the reason why I left that world behind and came here. But it seems that the world wants me to return already. He looked over at Sokoya for a second, thinking about what he should even say to something like that. "It must have been a bitter moment to know that your father sold you." He didn't even mention about the part where he sold them to try to get some food. He really couldn't just wrap his head around the prospect of actually placing a price on her. "Did Zane actually care about you or did he merely use you?" He asked her, once again tilting his head out of interest in her now. "By the sounds of it, he didn't truly have any feelings towards you." Orion didn't realize that he might have been opening old wounds, but he simply wanted to know.

Amara slowly looked up to Orion as he spoke. "I knew there was always the chance from when I was little" she replied. "It happened a lot where I lived as we werent exactly rich, and it was easier to sell daughters to help make money if you didnt have sons to help with crops." When he asked if Zane actually cared, she shook her head and looked back down. "No, I know he only wanted me for my bloodline, not for me. It was no secret that Iris cared for him, but he didnt feel the same. I dont think he ever could..." Her voice faded as she slowly looked back up at Orion. "I-is he still alive" she asked, almost sounding like she didnt want him to be.

"No Amara. Zane is not alive." Orion wasn't planning on telling her that he was disgesting in Sokoya's stomach as they spoke, however he didn't want her to feel worse by telling her his grisly fate. "I truly cannot believe that your father sold you off to someone, cashing in on your looks and health for the sake of helping the family. I understand the reason behind it however I find it inexcusable to sell your children no matter the reason to justify it." Orion's mindset on family was now strongly based on the lizardmen's idea of family, and selling a child for any reason would be met with universal scorn from mortals and shame from the deities. "You say that your father sold you because you could not help out with tending to crops, but why did he think it was a good idea to sell you to adventurers which is arguably a more laborious and physically intense lifestyle rather than a farmhand." The fallacy stumped Orion, but he had other things on his mind. "Moving on to the lingering question: what should I do with you?" Sokoya leaned and whispered a few ideas into his ear, but Orion shook his head afterwards. "Let me ask you Amara: what should I do with you?"
