Black Rose could tell that the wolves didn't trust her and she didn't trust them. At least the alpha's nice. She thought before shifting to a different position on the cold floor. She didn't have much room to put anything in it to make it warmer for her so she would feel cold no matter what time of year it was.

One of the wolves, a juvenile, looked curiously at Black Rose, "Wait, so you don't live with any other wolves? I thought all wolves lived in a pack of some sort" she stated. Pine rolled her eyes and turned her back to the juvenile.

Black Rose looked at the juvenile and sighed. "Listen, my pack threw me out when they thought I wasn't good enough to be there any longer." She snorted. "So, no. I do not live with any other wolves." She wanted to a while ago but that was because she was young and afraid. She was not so young anymore. Or afraid. (All good) The juvenile looked embarrased, "Sorry, I-I shouldn't have asked" she stuttered. Chase got up after resting for a little while. He padded out of his den and to the pool. He carried with him some moss from his nest. He dunked the moss into the pool and carried it over to the side of camp, where they grow edible berries. He watered each of the plants in turn, nudging a few of the most colored berries with his nose to test their ripeness, before watering the rest of the plants.

Black Rose shrugged. "It's all good." She said and then stretched. "I'm off to hunt." She said and got up and walked to her patch of land and started to hunt. She hunted a sick, weak bunny and killed it quickly so it felt no pain. "May you live a better life in the afterlife." She bowed her head to the dead animal and ate it after a moment of silence.

Chase picked a juicy strawberry from the bush. He watered the bush some more afterwards to keep it strong and healthy. He carried the ripe berry into the den with the other wolves. He dropped it gently in Black Rose's den as a welcoming gift. Pine got up from her nest and wandered over to Chase, "I wish you gave me a berry when I arrived" she smirked. "I did! I gave you multiple, remember?" Chase replied honestly. Pine touched her nose to his ear, "Yes, of course I remember." Chase flinched as she touched him, "S-sorry, I flinch sometimes, Instincts.." he appologized. "It's alright" Pine replied with a shrugg. Edited at June 7, 2021 08:15 PM by Flower God

Black Rose stretched from where she was and buried the bones of the dead rabbit and walked around to find a flower to give to the animal before she closed off the bones from the outside world and saw Chase and Pine and rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Go find your own den to romantice with." She said blankly and walked past them to get to her den and pulled out a rose, much like her name, and walked out. She did not see the berry on the ground until she came a few minutes later after giving the bones the flower. "Oh." She said as she saw the berry and then looked at the two. "Uh.. thanks?"

"We do welcoming gifts for each new member" Chase stated honestly, "Notin' special much." Pine dipped her head, starting to respect the wolf, no matter how strange her ways, "Good day" she murmured flatly, but not rudely. Chase went off into the woods to explore more deeply his pack's territory, and to make sure there were no tresspassers.

Black Rose blinked as she saw the two wolves leave in separate ways and hummed. Maybe.. They aren't together? She sighed and looked at the welcoming gift and then walked throughout her den and grabbed a black rose and walked through the forest until she saw Chase and gave him the rose. "As thanks. For the gift." She said.

"Oh, thanks. It was nothing much" Chase smiled. He took the rose from her, "I'm just scouting out the territory, Pine has been bugging me" (sorry, gotta go)
