Skylar pictured Rome's face in his mind. How he smiled at him, and how his eyes filled with such desire. He smiled to himself as he felt Rome's touch. He needed him. (needy mf) He slowly fluttered his eyes open, looking up at the desirable man. He smiled with such tired eyes but only for a moment before his face dropped. He clenched his jaw as he sat up. He looked at his phone checking the time. It was surprisingly not late, they had only slept for roughly 4 hours. He looked back at Rome, slightly smiling. |

Rome continued to trace shapes onto Skylar. As he continued to listen to the song, feeling the lyrics the previous hours of the day came flooding into his mind. Some emotions of pleasure, happiness, safety, and fear re-appeared. Rome brushed it off reminding himself this is only the beginning and there's more to come. For now holding and being with Sky was all he wished for. " Unlike *SOME* waitress " he thought haughtily to himself. Romes brow furrowed once he felt Sky's head go up and down. Gently, Rome took out one side of his headphones. " Aht- There you are. How was the nap vido ? ". |

"It was okay" Skylar answered softly as he brushed his hair out of his face. He then ran his fingers through his hair, surprisingly it wasn't knotty. He then replayed everything that had happened that day. Fear struck his eyes as thoughts flooded his mind. Why would you give yourself away like that! That quickly too!! His brain screamed at him, causing his breath to quicken. He looked away from Rome and brought his knees to his chest as he embraced himself. He then started picking at his skin. |

Rome nodded his head, " That's good to hear ". Rome got lost into his music turning his attention away from Sky. For a short while he had his eyes closed while doing so, until he felt Sky's body breathing faster next to him. Romes eyes darted from Sky's chest, knees, and face. " Are you. . . . alright ?" he tried, knowing Sky wasn't. His mind reached for answers but he could'nt come up with anything at the moment. Was it maybe the foreign nickname. " I could stop calling you my life, if you want ? " |

"It's not that Rome." Sky let out, his voice breaking when he had said Rome's name. "I'm sorry." Sky then said as ran his fingers through his hair once more before getting up. He made his way over Rome and off the bed. He looked down at the ground for a moment before looking at Rome. He examined Rome, the guy whom he had just given himself to. He gave him all his trust, too quickly. It was too much for Sky to handle, but he wanted Rome so badly. He then rubbed his neck as he sat back down on the bed. |

" Woah hold on now. Would you rather talk? No need to apologize baby ". Rome sat up swiftly, back to the headboard. He crossed his legs taking his last headphone out of his ear. Rome raised an eyebrow, eyes following Sky. By now, he understood he couldn't press Sky to answer him immediately. It surely pissed him off not to have an immediate response or to try and guess this new gahdamn mystery, but he still tried his best to cooperate. Rome sighed shaking his head, running his hand through his hair. " It'll be okay, si ? " |

"Im sorry." Sky then said as he almost began to cry. He breathed in shakily, letting out fast before beginning to speak again. "I just think that-" Sky paused again, looking away from Rome. "I loved what we did but it was too fast and I get scared." He looked back at Rome not knowing if he would understand. "It's not you I promise it's just past relationships, I promise Rome" he said as a tear fell down his cheek. He looked away as he wiped it. |

Rome put his hand over his mouth, not in a surprised way, just to rest his head. He didn't want to speak until Sky was finished, not wanting to worsen the situation. Rome nodded his head, his eyes still resting on the back of Sky. Seeing him this distressed hurt him. Not only because was it Romes fault, but because he grew to love and undsetand this boy. He wouldn't want to be the downfall of something he- not he, *they* worked on to have. What also hurt Rome, was the fact past relationships were able to *have* Sky like how he did. It frankly pissed him off, and jealous. Rome opened and closed his mouth, not wanting to say something ignorant. But ahh hell, it's Rome. If he had something on his chest, trust, 1000% he's going to get it off. " First of all fuck those past relationships, they arent *me*. And *you* did want to be closer with me then, yes? " |

"Yes, I know." Skylar winced as another tear fell down his face. "I know I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Sky then said in a more quiet but hurt tone. He looked at Rome as tears filled his eyes. He looked away quickly as he didn't bother wiping them. Why do I always have to make things harder, it was fine before I overreacted. I ruin everything, Sky thought to himself. He tried to calm himself by doing his breathing exercises but it made him want to break down. "Fuck." He breathed, clearly upset. "Fuck me!" He said louder as he stood up abruptly. He then began pacing a bit around his room, as his breath quickened. |

" What's bothering you? Was everything too early? " he rapidly asked. Rome stood up, getting off of the bed to accompany Sky. " Look-Look-Look. It's okay. We can talk about this. Can you breathe for me? Let's slow it down a bit por favor? " he tried. Rome reached out to hold Sky's hand. He didn't want to up and touch him being that this whole situation was over physical touch. " I know this is scary, you don't need to keep apologizing. Now is the time for you to say and act and feel whatever you need to. I'm here to listen, or I can go by your choice. I don't like seeing you worked up. Especially over some dumb-ass i've never met.. Or Skylar Ashton Vaccarello-Jones so *help me* I can meet them for the first and last time " he spat out quickly, his Dominican accent tying in with his English. He knew this situation wasn't really focused on the exes too much, but it bothered him deeply. Rome was easy to piss of and make jealous. |
