Uri took off from the rock formation she landed on, on her way to the colony. The wind was strong and came from behind her so hopefully, it wouldn't take too long. She didn't see another dragon at all on her way there, which she was grateful for.

Once she got there, she realized how big she had gotten from the last time she was there. As she made her way through she towered over dragons she used to be the same size as. Then she saw the alpha, and she greeted him with a coo, immediately catching his attention. She kept her head low in case he didn't recognize her, but she didn't need to. The alpha cooed back, a sign that he recognized her. She automatically raised her head back up and bounded towards the cave that Tobey and her father lived in. She passed a couple of females on the way there, who looked similar to her and her father but they didn't have the double wings. Her best guess was that they were her father's mates.

She let out a chirp in one of the open spaces, one she would specifically use to call to him when she was little. So enough she heard loud footsteps and they were quick along with smaller ones that sounded like a human's. She let out another one right before they came around the corner. There he was, her father, once he saw her he immediately recognized her. He gave her a loving headbutt as a greeting and she returned it. She was only slightly smaller than him, so Tobey stood there mouth agape.

Uri immediately carefully brushed her nose against him and he seemed to snap out of it as he began to pet her head.

"Look at you, you've gotten so big, Uri!" he said but paused "You must not have a mate if you're able to travel still," He said with almost a sad expression and Uri hummed in return.

+ Tobey - 1st Person +

Ever moaned as the early morning light filtered into his cave and onto his face. His whole body was sore from the fight and he was still pretty tired despite the night's rest. Just then he remembered the female. Ah! He had to find her and show her he was still alive! Ever jumped to his feet but immediately regretted the quick movements. He let out a roar of pain but quickly quieted himself. Out in the distance he heard other dragons. Shoot, they probably heard about the fight. Ever did his best to sneakily retreat to a different part of the beach. Luckily he wasn't caught but he was still on high alert. He was determined to get back to the female but he needed some breakfast first.

I had just stared writing an entry in my journal when King rushed out and Tobey said he'd follow. If it were up to me i would've held the kiss longer but i knew something might be happening that required Tobey's attention. I was tempted to follow and go see what was happening but i decided against it. I had a proper baby stomach now, i needed to be careful. I sighed and went back to my journal, straining to hear what was happening. A little later Tobey returned, making me smile. I squeezed his hands which were in mine before nodding and getting up. I was very curious as to who he wanted me to meet, but i know it had to be a dragon because obviously no other humans lived here. When i turned the corner i let out a gasp at the dragon infront of me. "She's beautiful, Tobey!" I whispered excitedly. "I take it she's used to humans?" I asked, lifting my hand up for her to inspect. She was so gorgeous i just wanted to hug her but i knew better than that.

Tobey left and I was alone with my father, I didn't mind. I would only have an issue if one of his mates came along and tried to make it a problem. I guess that would be the real test, his firstborn or a mate.

All of a sudden Tobey came back with a female human, I could easily tell from her pheramones that she was carrying. I could only guess it was Tobey's mate as well. I got closer and despite being so large I maganed to gently nudge her stomach and let out a hum.

I smiled as I watched Uri approach her and nudge her stomach,

"This is Uri, She is one of King's offspring and as far as i know she is the oldest. Don't worry, she is only two years older than me and i grew up alongside her." I explained with a smile "She knows you are pregnant it seems. Too bad she doesn't have a mate of her own, If she did she wouldn't be able to travel. She lives on the mainland, my best guess was so that she could try and find a mate." I said and gave her a sad but smypathetic look as I hugged Kate from behind. "I have no clue what happened to her mother, I never saw a female claim her as their own, she just always just tagged along with King." I explained further "My best guess is her mother dumped her here with her father after she realized she ddin't want her, or she wasn't ready yet." I said staring at Uri as she backed up when King seemed to make sure she was okay and didn't have any injuries. In fact she seemed untouched.

"She lives in the mountains next to Bone Beach, it's a dragon hotspot but normally only for the smaller ones who can't hunt. Occassionally there are larger ones there near SeaShell cove, i would guess she travels there a lot as she does hoard seashells." I continued to ran on about Uri. there was a long pause,

"You know, she is basically my sister," I said out of no where.

I was glad to see that Uri had no fear of me and easily approached me. I definitely didn't expect the nudge but it did make me giggle. "Haha, your so sweet." I hummed to the dragon, petting her. I couldn't get over how gorgeous she was. I listened to Tobey talk about Uri, nodding along as i countinued to stroke the huge dragon. "Your such a pretty girl." I whispered to her right before Tobey hugged me from behind. Even though i was very curious about her i let my hands drop to my sides as i leaned into Tobey. "Well, atleast we get to see her." I said, though i did feel slightly bad for her. She was just too beautiful to not have a mate. "I didn't know dragons could have hobbies, besides flying." I mused, watching King and Uri with a smile.

As a long silence fell, I just enjoyed Tobey's embrace and the beautiful animals infront of me. However, i couldn't help but burst out laughing when Tobey spoke up again. "Ha...sorry, i didn't mean to laugh." I said, clearly trying to hold in my laughter. "Still," I turned to look at Uri "It was a pleasure meeting you, Tobey's sister." I teased, barley able to contain my laughter. I leaned into Tobey once more looking up at him. "In all seriousness though, i understand what you mean. Just like Blue is practically my son. Anyways, she is such a beautiful dragon and i can tell you care about her." I then crossed my arms. "Now im a bit jealous, to be honest." I teased again, smirking up at Tobey. Ahh, this was the best.

Jade playfully pounced on Kade, her brother's back, wanting to play. The two yearlings were one of Olive's newest clutches and probably the most chaotic ones. Kade flipped onto his back, smashing his sister in the process. Jade sqeauled as she clawed her way out from under her brother. Once she once out she gave Kade's tail a bard bite before running off. Kade roared in pain before turning and chasing his sister. The siblings ran through the icy tunnels, slipping, skidding, and bumping into other dragons as they went. Many of the dragons would send them angry roars but dared not to hurt them as they were King's offspring. The siblings practically ran through the whole ice fortress before finally starting to get worn out.

Jade slipped on the ice and unlike the other times, wasn't able to keep her balance. She crashed hard onto the ice before sliding a few feet. Kade who had been chasing her wasn't able to stop in time and ran into his sister. The two went spiraling through the tunnel they were in before entering another one where the bumped into someone. Once they were stopped the two tried to scramble to their feet. Kade was successful while Jade just bumped into the dragon again. Kade looked up at his own species before slowly backing away and letting out an apologetic whimper.

I held Kate back for a second as the two hatchlings crashed into Uri "Let's wait, her maternal instinct was always high when she was a teenage dragon, I don't think it has changed," I said watching her as she glanced at the two

I was interacting with my father when two hatchlings bumped into my leg. One of them let out an apologetic chirp and I just hummed in response saying it was okay. I carefully backed up giving the two space, they looked like my father, so I could only guess they were part of the youngest generation.

(warning you right now it is a very primitive language)

"Se uēpa mēre iēdrosa ēza charm," I said to my father

"iksis bona supposed naejot ōdrikagon?" He responded and I rolled my eyes.

"īles iā sȳz udir," I said "Eman daor mate iēdrosa, yn iā runt is tolī nyke," my father turned to me with a disapproving look

"Skoro syt gaomagon ao ivestragī se male chase ao?" he asked with a certain disapproving look.

"mērī mēre bona nears ñuha lenton," I said laying down "Mirre se tolie issi tolmiot," I said "ñuha lenton iksis vok se gaoman daor jaelagon naejot henujagon" I added and he just sighed,

"konīr issi iā couple va, maybe kostā ȳdragon zirȳ ezīmagon traveling amongst ao," he suggested

"se runt iksis iā sȳz fighter se smart, mazēdas ilagon iā uēpa male se iā mazvēttan male rōvykta than himself," I added

"Ivestragī nyke handle thy male runt zaldrīzes pār ao daor" He said turning to me.

"Nyke pendagon ziry might sagon morghe, iā lo issa alive ziry wouldn't follow bisa tolmiot, se male's tīkuni māzigon lēda problems," I said and he sighed.

"Kesan māzigon naejot aōha lenton lo istin pār ziry won't henujagon," he said and I only nodded.

After catching a fish to eat and a fish for the female, Ever started his journey back to the female's cave. He still had to prove he was worth it to the female, so he thought bringing her a small breakfast would be good. He would've caught more fish but he didn't want to waste his energy. He had to get back to the female quick. He had to show he was alive! As he flew, he could feel his muscles and wing groaning in pain but he just pushed it out of his mind and instead focused on getting home.

About a quarter of the way back to the female's cave, Ever caught her scent going a different direction. The runt stopped to take a break on a seastack and to think over his next actions. He was almost certain the female wasn't at her cave, but where had she gone? The male was hurt and in no condition to be flying far or to be in a dangerous place. Still...he really had nothing to live for besides this female. His brother would be fine on the island as long as he was careful. Ever sighed and took off in the direction of the female's scent. He was determined to find her and show her that he was alive!

I froze when Olive's hatchling's bumped into Uri. I wasn't sure how Uri would react and therefore was worried. I relaxed again when Tobey said to wait. I nodded before observing her reaction. I was releaved when it seemed Uri could care less. And the hatchling's were fine so everything was good. I watched as the siblings slipped away before focusing back on King and Uri.

Once the female backed up, Jade was finally able to get up. She backed up to be even with her brother, letting out her own apologetic chirp. Thank goodness the female wasn't mad, but she felt she still had to apologize too. Once their father and the female started talking, the siblings quietly slipped away. They were quite curious about the two humans but their mom had told them to stay away from them, so they decided to listen to her words. They didn't want to get into trouble afterall.

I watched with a smile as Uri ignored them, she could probably tell they looked like King and figured out they were probably half-siblings.

"Uri would be a good mother if she could find a mate, her maternal instincts are high," I explained to Kate setting my head on hers as I began to sway back and forth a little. "I have a lot of stories about how when King would fight other dragons she would push me under her or put herself between me and King," I said with a laugh "She was like a mother hen despite only being 2 years older," I said with a sad smile. "I only wish I would get to see her offspring if she has any in the future. I'm sure they would be as gorgeous as her," I said as my tone still sounded a bit sad.

I wondered if the youngsters speak yet or not so I attempted to talk to them.

"Tobey iksis drēje, ao would sagon iā sȳz muña ao gīmigon," My father said and I sighed.

"drēje, nyke would sagon," I responded looking at him before looking back at the hatchlings

"Byka ones, ao gīmigon iksan aōha uēpkta mandia drēje?" I said as I moved my head down to their level. I asked the two awaiting their response.

Just as they were about to sneak away, Uri spoke to them. Apparently they had been staring at the humans too long to avoid being interacted with. With her words, Jade's eyes went wide before flicking over to her dad."Īlen pretty sure īlē related naejot īlva somehow kesrio syt aōha gevie hae dad" Kade replied smoothly while his sister just stared in shock. "Momma ivestretan īlva daor naejot ȳdragon naejot strangers." Jade huffed, looking away. "Lī issi se mērī udra ziry knows." Kade told the female with a laugh. "Brōzio ñuha iksis kade se ñuha mandia iksis jade. Skoros's aōha brōzi?" He then added, a friendly smile on his face.

"Haha, maybe she should teach me how to be a mother." I said, half joking and half not. I know that with Tobey by my side i could do it, but im still quite nervous about being a mother. Normally my mom would help me, but she obviously will never be here to do so. I sighed, telling by his tone he was pretty sad for Uri. "Maybe she'll nest here, who knows. Or maybe she'll visit with her family once her hatchlings are older." I answered, hoping to make him feel a bit better even if there was only a small chance. "Anyways, you should totally tell me the stories sometime. It'll probably make me love her even more." I laughed, enjoying his embrace and the gentle rocking. If i weren't focused on the dragons and talking, i probably would've fallen asleep.

I listened to the two bicker for a bit with a laugh.

"Kesā door gīmigon nyke, yn iksan urimenor, īlva kepa's ēlī āzma," I said with a smile "Ñuha muña iksis gone, īlen geptot isse se colony īlva kepa brōzas lenton. honor sagon skoro set ao haven't ryptan yno," I added

I paused "You forget that young dragons of their species normally travel far from home the moment they get the chance. Only occasionally will they return to see their mother, except Uri has no mother so instead she comes to visit her father." I explained, "The males normally get chased out of the nest before they can reproduce because their father doesn't want them taking over their territory and stealing their females." I explained further "Do you need me to carry you to bed? You seem tired my love," I said standing next to her and rubbing her back.

Ever's breath was ragged from the intense pain that started in his wing and shot through his body. Tears flowed down his face but he promised himself that he would make it to the female. He had taken multiple breaks but it did little to ease the pain. The pain was so bad that sometimes in mid-flight, the male's wing would give out for a second. It hurt like heck to make it work again and stop himself from plummeting into the sea. Why did those dragons have to attack anyways? "Umbagon kostōba syt se female, mirre." Ever whimpered to himself as he flew on.

Just then Ever saw a huge formation made of ice. Multiple dragons were on its lands and flying above it. The dragons seemed to be going in and out of the ice. Just then it dawned on him, it was a colony. His eyes went wide before quickly shutting because of the pain as his wing gave out on him for the hundredth time. He then quickly opened his eyes again and forced his wing to move once more. He glided over to a secluded and dark area before landing. It was very faint, but Ever could just make out the female's smell coming from inside.

The runt cautiously made his way inside, poking his head into different tunnels as he went, unsure which way to go. After a while of exploring, Ever stuck his head into a cave he shouldn't have. An angry mother dragon leaped at him with an intent to kill. Ever barley managed to dodge before running full speed in a different direction. Since the male was so good at dodging and weaving, he was able to get away from the mother. Once he knew he was safe, the male entered a small cave. His body begged for sleep and Ever could no longer resist. As soon as he layed down, he passed out from exhaustion but mostly pain.

I had been taking a short stroll around the colony when Blue came bounding towards me. His eyes were panicked and he was acting weird so i immediately knew something was wrong. I managed to calm him down and carefully climb onto his back. As soon as i was on, he took off running. He was going so fast i was afraid he would run into something or someone. We had many narrow escapes, but we actually didn't hit anything. He took me to a small cave before letting me off. I looked closer, and sure enough something was wrong. Very wrong. A poor black and white dragon was laying there, a small stream of blood around him and a fish in his clenched jaw. He was absolutely battered and his breathing was pained.

Panicked, I hoped back onto Blue and made him run to wherever Tobey was. Even though i wasn't the one that had been running, i was breathing hard when i reached my fiance. "Tobey!" I screeched, not bothering to get off Blue. I had seen alot of wounded dragons who i just left alone, but i just had to help this one. He looked so small for his species. Plus, he looked like he would die if we didn't help him. "A dragon needs our- your help!" I said urgently, begging him with my eyes to help. I then took Tobey to the dragon i found, either by leading him there or letting him catch a ride with me.
