That night, Anwaraidd watched as Crystal stumbled into her den. He had been keeping an eye on her all day to make sure she didn't try anything stupid, but it seemed his warnings had frightened her enough that she wasn't going to attempt an escape; at least not yet. He'd still be keeping an eye on her for the next few days, just to make sure. Andwaraidd waited for a moment longer to make sure Crystal wasn't going to sneak out when she thought everyone was asleep, but eventually, he decided that there was no point in watching any longer. He was tired, and he wanted to get some sleep. With a yawn, Andwaraidd stood up and made his way to his den, where he laid down to rest. The next morning, Anwaraidd was, as usual, up before any of the rest of the pack. He made his way straight to Crystal's and ducked inside. "Wake up," he snarled loudly, prodding her none to gently with one of his claws.

Crystal missed sleeping in. She woke up. She went and started doing her work quietly. She rarely spoke now days. She was a quiet wolf. It was rare to see her speak. She didn't hide her tail between her back legs from fear as often as she used too. Aftwr a few hours of working, she started eating her small share of food before going back to work. She was getting on the thin, pretty thin side since she started living her. Her prey amount of just a few pieces. It was enough to just keep her alive. There's been times she's been tempted on taking more than she's allowed. She looked at her stomach and saw how thin it was. Probably too thin... She decided it was time to go to the medic wolf. She snuck off and headed that way. She ducked inside. "M-Miss?" She whispered.

Anwaraidd was beginning to enjoy having Crystal around. Everything ran so much more smoothly when there was a wolf to do all the menial tasks, allowing others to make better use of their time! He should have thought of this ages ago; using another wolf as a slave. The pack Omega often did some of the more distasteful tasks, but even Caesa had gone on patrols. With a wolf purely dedicated to cleaning out the camp, taking care of the Elders, or doing whatever else demanded of her by other wolves, those tasks no longer needed to be divided up among pack wolves. She'd have to go free eventually, though. In his calculating mind, although Crystal was useful, she was another mouth to feed, making her not much better than the Elders in his mind. Still, for now, her usefulness outweighed the resources she consumed. Draenen, the pack's medic, looked up sharply from the pup she was treating. Seeing who it was, she bared her teeth lightly. "What is it?" she snapped. Draenen was not a particularly kind wolf, but her knowledge of healing and herbs was unsurpassed by any wolf in this pack or any of the others around the. Crystal had regretted her decision on coming here. She quickly left without saying anything. She was still not welcomed here by the pack memebers. She was getting skinner as the days passed. At this point she was gonna focus on ignoring her Heath. She was getting hungrier by the day but still she only took her small amount that she was allowed to have. She went back to her broken den and laid down beside the wall. She closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep. She felt and heard her stomach growl. She was waiting for the next day to come. As it became later in the night, close to morning. The sun shining into her eyes slowly made her open them. She went out to the kill pile, she took her respected amount and ate what she was allowed before going back to work. She was staying away from the medic wolf today. She had determined nobody liked her. They probably wished she was gone.

Draenen watched as Crystal left, shaking her head lightly before turning her attention back to the pup she was treating. She finished up what she was doing, then forcefully propelled him out of her den with her snout. "Don't do something stupid and sprain your paw again, or I won't treat you!" she barked after him. The pup scampered off, and Draenen relaxed. The next morning, Anwaraidd was up bright and early as usual. He typically supervised the organization of the morning, noon, and evening patrols, and for the morning patrols, he liked to be up before everyone so that he could separate wolves into groups as they woke up and get them out as quickly as possible. It wasn't long before he had put together four patrols, which he sent out to different locations along the border of his territory. Once that was done, he began trotting back through the camp, but stopped, spotting Crystal working. He watched for a moment, making sure she was on-task, then grew bored and trotted away.

Crystal finished working for the day. She stretched and walked over to her den. She sighed. She didn't talk to anyone. Only nodded when told to do something. She slowly looked up and turned her head and looked around. She walked to her den and ducked her head as she walked in. She had no clue when she could go. She laid down and scratched behind her ears. She laid her head on her paws. She sighed. She wanted her freedom back. She was getting used to being here. But she wasnt thrilled that she was being kept against her will and that she couldn't eat much. She was laying on her side and rolled onto her back before rolling back to her other side. "When can I go home?" She asked. She looked outside the den and saw there was still light out. She slowly stood back up and walked to the entrance. She ducked her head and existed the den. She slowly trotted towards where she last saw the alpha. She didn't see him... "Hmm.." she slowly said. She decided to look somewhere else. She trotted towards the alpha's den before spotting him. She slowly went from a trot to walked. She headed towards the alpha. "Alpha." She said in a respectful voice and dipped her head respectfully. She then looked up at him. "I finished all my daily chores. Is there something I need to do?" She asked.

Anwaraidd caught Crystal's scent a few seconds before she came into view, and he stared right at her, looking annoyed. "What do you want?" he growled. He sat perfectly still as Crystal made her report, then bared his teeth. "If you're finished, then what are you reporting to me for?" he growled. "If there's something else that needs to be done, you should be able to take a little initiative and do it. Now get out of here, and stop wasting my time with useless questions."

Crystal immediately left. She would never be welcome here. She just had to live with that. At least until he let her leave. Which feels like never. She wandered off and laid down by the edge of camp. Not leaving camp just laying there. Honestly she didn't know why he hadn't just killed her already. She clearly annoyed everyone in the pack. Why was he keeping her around? Did he secretly have a soft spot? Or secretly like her? She shook her head as if she told herself some sort of joke. "Like me? Nah nobody likes me." She said. She didn't want the words to be true. But they were true.

Anwaraidd gave Crystal one last parting snarl before settling back down. Then he gave a quiet chuckle and shook his head. He'd never get tired of ordering her about. Sure, he had his own wolves that would do whatever he said without any resistance, but she wasn't even a pack member and she did everything he told her to! He was a little bit disappointed that there had been so little resistance; it was more fun when the put up a fight at first; that way, he could respond accordingly. Of course, he was still hard on her and often used physical force to get her to move faster, but it just wasn't as fun when they didn't resist.

Crystal started to fall asleep. She had fallen asleep not in her den but at the edge of camp. She had finished everything she had too. So if he told her to do something, she could say everything is done. She dreamed about having a family. A mate, litters of pups, grand pups. But her being forced to stay here, working for this pack, kept her dream far from reality. She rolled on her back in the middle of her dream. She quietly snored before rolling onto her other side, on a rock. She feeling of the rock woke her up. "Ow." She muttered to herself. She stood up and trotted back to her den. She didn't look any of the pack members in the eyes, she ducked into her den. She looked at the empty broke down den. She curled up and laid in the corner of her den. She then fell asleep immediately.
