Bay narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Rob? I dunno where he went," she answered honestly, stroking the puppy gently. She nuzzled Bay's palm, then resumed to bury her head into Bay's armpit. Bay couldn't help but grin. She retained her composure and straightened back her shoulders. Then she glanced back at the man.

Nouma found he couldn't look directly into the woman's eyes for very long. He shrugged it off and averted his eyes towards the door. He rolled his shoulders. This Rob would satisfy his hunger for power and get him somewhere for a few days. He turned and wove his tall form towards the door. He felt stronger already. He placed his hand on the door and shoved it open. Rob would pay for his cowardliness.

Bay's anxiety kicked into first gear, and she shuffled towards the man, the poor pup still in her arms, buried in her shirt. "Sir, I'm going to have to ask you what you're doing? You're technically not even allowed to be here if you don't have a dog, so..." Bay admit with a slight fear that the man may do something irrational due to his condition. She followed after him silently, though she knew he was aware of her presence. She swallowed hard, wishing she hadn't said anything about Rob. Wishing Rob had just stayed in the play pen for the puppies instead of setting off the strange man for some reason. She wasn't sure what it was, but she still didn't want to get in trouble for allowing some derranged man into their business place, then allowing him to murder Rob. The puppy wimpered in her arms. Bay stroked her to offer her some comfort, despite the stressful situation.

Nouma scanned the rooms with an unrelenting searchlight gaze. At night his eyes would have had that effect. He stalked slowly; no good in hurting himself more. Nouma entered another room. He glared searchingly into the corners. A sound whipped his head toward the door in the room. It must be a back door. He stepped to it, hand locking down upon the handle. He flung it open. A car engine grumbled. Coward! Nouma hissed to himself. He was only digging his miserable grave deeper. And making Nouma mad. Never make him mad. He stepped outside and broke into a lope. The man was desperately attempting to start his car and escape. Incredibly futile. Nouma sped up, sprinting to his door. He seized the handle and showed his teeth threateningly. The doors clicked, locking. Nouma braced his feet and squared his shoulders.. and tore the door off it's hinges.

Bay gripped the puppy in her arms tightly, and swallowed hard. It was at this moment, that she knew, this man was not ordinary. She considered calling the police, but Rob already appeared to be struggling to get to his phone, which sat on the dash of his vehicle. "S-sir? Can you please just calm down? Where do you live? I can give you a ride home," Bay offered. Her entire being was shaking like a leaf, and the puppy in her arms was doing no greater at trying to control her fear. She wimpered with terror, and buried her head into Bay's armpit again. Bay didn't protest, and continued to watch in fear for her co-worker.

Nouma turned in fury. The small human was starting to both annoy and scare him. This weakling in the vehicle was easily terrified, easily overpowered. This strange female, why, she had the audacity to offer him something when she should be grateful she was still alive, or at least running in fear. Oh no, this woman was much more interesting. He decided then. He would make her writh in fear. It would taste so sweet. He would break her until she screamed. Oh yes, this would be interesting. Nouma bent and hefted the discarded door from the ground. He speared it straight through the back door of the car. His pupils narrowed and his blood burned with excitement. He arched his back to his full seven foot height and spread his fingers wide. He wished for his wings. Oh well. He sneered at the woman, hoping he still looked fearsome even without his fangs.
