Hollow glanced back at Portokáli. Why does it always seem like she's looking at nothing? Or, he realized, something only she can see? An imaginary friend or something? Or does she just keep noticing things I dont? Hollow wondered. "I have no idea, honestly. I guess just get to know each other more?" He said. When he reached the bottom of the hill, he sat down. "So..." He said, trying to think of something to say. "I uh, like your scarf." He said. "Well, let's just say I really wanted to kill Hollow for a minute there." Helios said. "He's a ghost. And you say only death can kill him. What, uh, what do you think will cause that death?" Helios asked in a voice that made it obvious he didn't actually want to kill Hollow.

Portokáli looked down as she slowed down to a stop next to him. She almost fell down a few times as she couldn't fly very well but she landed with slight ease. Portokáli blushed. "Uhm- thanks." She said as she moved a claw to her scarf and remembered why she had gotten it in the first place and shivered. She shook her head before flinching again as Core hovered above her with a glare. Cygnus looked at him. "You don't want to do that. He's your friend." He said before sighing. "Death itself has given him life, so that means that Death can take it away." He explained before clearing his throat. "And.. None of us can kill a ghost. A spirit, maybe, but not a ghost. They are here because of revenge and that.. That is a dangerous thing."

Hollow looked at Portokáli for a moment. "Are you okay?" He asked. He seemed genuinely concerned. She definitely looks like she can see something I cant. What is she seeing? Probably something that freaks her out, at least a little. Does it have to do with the scarf, perhaps? "You seem... I don't really know, scared? I guess? " Helios nodded. "Yeah, I don't. But sometimes he is a pain. And he better not think about stuffing you in a tree." He added. Helios glanced across the meadow to where Hollow and Portokáli were. "I'm honestly don't know whether he's a ghost or a spirit. I get the two mixed up, but I bet he'd tell you if you asked. Plus he'd probably tell you about how he died and stuff."

Portokáli looked at Hollow and nodded. "I-.. Yeah. Yeah, I am." She said and then looked away from him. "Sorry. I just- I see something that traumatized me when I was young." She told him with a lowered head. Why do I have to deal with Core? It doesn't make sense. She sighed mentally before getting nagged on by Core. "Just leave him alone already. It'll be better for him." Core growled. Portokáli started to growl as well. "Shush." She whispered underneath her breath. Cygnus looked at Helios and shook his head. "He won't be able to lift me, Helios. Plus you know how strong I am." He said and laid down. "Plus I'd break the tree." He added and then looked at Hollow and Portokáli. "Well, I don't think he will. Portokáli hardly tells me anything about her past, but I don't like to meddle with her since she's having difficulties on her own." Cygnus mumbled to himself.

"Trauma, eh? I certainly know about having a bad past... Want to talk ab-" Hollow was about to say "want to talk about it?" But stopped when he heard Portokáli say "Shush". "Oh, alright..." He said, thinking she had been talking to him. He looked over at Helios and Cygnus. I hope Helios isn't still mad at me. Hollow thought. "Yeah, that's true. I bet he wouldn't enjoy trying." Then a picture came into his head of Hollow desperately trying to put Cygnus in a tree. Helios almost laughed at the thought. "I just imagined Hollow trying to stuff you in a tree and the tree just dying" He said. "And I bet he would tell you, he's oddly open about things when he's directly asked. Though he wouldn't just tell you out of the blue or anything... Want to go ask him?"

Portokáli flinched when Core started to laugh. She started to panic when she saw how Hollow looked. "No, no! I wasn't talking to you!" She whimpered. "My- my trauma makes me hear things.." She trailed off, tugging on her scarf gently. "I would talk to you about it, but you'd just get annoyed by my rambling." She laughed dryly. ~~ Cygnus smiled. "Trees, as well as any plant life, tend to.. Die-off when I touch them." He looked down and cleared his throat. "I feel like it would be much easier if you were the one who asked. He is your friend after all." He said and then raised his wings and stretched. "Plus.. You could apologize to the poor fella." He nudged his head towards Hollow. "He looks like he had just heard something heartbreaking."

"Oh, you weren't? That's a relief." Hollow said. "Makes you hear things? That sounds awful. And you should know, the only dragon I get annoyed with easily is Helios... And, someone else..." Hollow shifted his talons, he was still incredibly mad at Hare, the one who'd sent him to his death. "I- why did i not know that? And, sure, I'll ask him." Helios said then glanced over at Hollow and Portokáli. "I guess he does, he could probably use an apology. I hope he isn't still mad at me." He said. "Should we go now?" Helios asked, glancing back at Hollow and Portokáli again.

Portokáli laughed. "I highly doubt that. The only one I know that's more annoying than anyone else is this voice in my head." She shook her head with a smile. "He's so annoying. Just annoying. What's so special about him?" Core asked as he hissed. "Can't you see that I'm the better one here?" Core seemed to smirk as he floated above her head. He's amazing, Core. Stop trying to annoy me. I want to enjoy this moment. "Trust me, the ones who annoy you can't be that bad." She said before glaring at Core as they floated over to Hollow and hissed at him. ~~ Cygnus chuckled. "Illusions, my dear." He said and suddenly flew into the air, leaving a trail of purple mist in his place as the spot he was in, the grass at least, wilted and dusted away. He then flew back down and landed next to Helios. "Who would be mad at someone as amazing as you?" He asked as he lovingly purred. "Let's go." He said and turned, slowly walking towards Hollow and Portokáli.

"Well, one of the dragons I find very annoying was the one who went me to my death." Hollow said "Though I wouldn't call him annoying, I'd call him... Insolent." He said, then heard talon behind him. He turned around and saw Cygnus and Helios. "Oh, hey. You... Aren't still mad, are you Helios?" He asked. "Nope. Also, sorry about earlier." Helios said. "It's fine. At least I know not to threaten Cygnus with trees." "True, anyways, were you talking about your death?" "I- not really, why? Are you wanting me to tell you for the fiftieth time?" Hollow asked, giving Helios a skeptical look. He didn't forget again, did he? He better not have forgotten... Hollow glanced at Portokáli and Cygnus. Or perhaps he wants them to hear. I guess that makes sense. "Yes, actually. And I see that look. No I did not forget." Helios said. I swear, Hollow can be so annoying sometimes. Helios thought.

Portokáli flinched when she saw Helios but tried to regain her confident stance until she started getting annoyed by Core once again. "Hey! I'm talking to you! Listen to me!" Core grumbled. Portokáli closed her eyes and drooped her head towards the ground. Core saw this and started poking her instead, trying to get her attention. Core growled as he looked at the three others. "What do they have that I don't? I'm much, much more powerful than they could ever hope to become." Core glared at Hollow. "Especially him." ~~ Cygnus looked at Hollow. "If you would be kind to tell us, that would be very nice of you." He said politely. He saw Portokáli slowly look up at them with a concerned look on her face. Cygnus blinked and then remembered what he had known about her. "Do not worry, Portokáli." He told her, which made her nod slowly.
