Black Rose blinked and looked at him and then nodded. "I see." She only had a small stream to drink out of and that was even with sharing with the other animals in her patch of land. "Why do you think I would need your help?" She asked. "I've been doing just fine on my own."

Chase shrugged, "An offer's an offer, there isn't any reasoning behind it" he replied honestly. Pine passed by him, grumbling. She held a large rabbit in her mouth, no matter how annoyed he was at her, he still found the catch impressive.

Black Rose looked at him and shrugged as well. She sniffed the air and then saw Pine holding a rabbit in her mouth. She felt herself growl at her quietly before clearing her throat. She flicked her tail and sat down, looking back at the alpha. "Chase, right?" She asked. "What are you doing raising a pack so young?"

"Yes, well. I grew up alone, without a pack. My parents died when I was very young. Most of these pack members are like me, or were like me. I formed this pack to unite the wolves who wished for company and packmates to trust" Chase explained, "And Pine! Don't forget to thank the gods for the catch" he reminded her.

Black Rose hummed. "At least you have slight decency with the other animals." She closed her eyes as she stretched out her front paws. "So.. A point for you, I guess." She opened an eye and looked at him before smiling. "You're not bad, Chase. A little strange, but not bad."

Chase shrugged, "I'll take that as a complement, thank you. You're not bad either for a Rogue" Pine shared the rabbit with a few pups, then burried the bones in the plot of their camp where they always bury them. She then went over and picked a Lily from the border of camp and laid it on the bone pile. "Thank you for giving us food" Pine whispered. She looked at the other piles with varied flowers on top.

Black Rose laughed. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever you say, alpha." She laid down and yawned. She hadn't gotten much sleep since Pine and Chase woke her from her relaxation. She didn't mind talking with wolves, but it made her a little worried about talking with an alpha of all wolves.

"Call me what you will, but Alpha just doesn't sit well with me" Chase replied kindly. He lumbered off into his den to get some rest, hopefully. He curled up in his den with his tail over his snout.

Black Rose saw him leave and shrugged. "Sleep well." She said before she got up and looked around before walking back to her little den in her patch of land. She didn't fully trust these wolves yet to stay near them.

Chase fell asleep quickly in his den. Pine stayed awaking and glaring at the rogue from the shadows of her den. "I don't trust her.." she said to the other wolves in her den. They all nodded and muttered agreement.
