(I was thinking that too, but I wasnt sure if you would be up for that. XD) Amara nodded to Sebastian. "Everyone wants what's best for their kingdoms, and those who dont, do not deserve to rule" she said as she looked at him. "Perhaps, even if we dont exactly, care to marry each other, we can at least be friends with this, to keep the peace" she offered the idea. "I know it takes time for people to end up in love, and arranged marriages rarely have it. I figured at least, friendship can help keep the kingdoms from too much worry." She gave a small smile, wondering what he would think about the idea. Amara gave a small smile. "If you can send her a letter to meet us here, we can head back in the morning to my home, and while she's talking to my brother, I can show you that meadow" she said. "My father would probably be happy that you and your siser both came to visit." She bit her lip slightly. "I just want you and her to both be prepared that he might not be too eager to take any help so quickly." Looking forward, Amara began to think. "With the arranged marriage, I have to wonder, which kingdom will we live in, or will we make our own castle and expand the kingdom that way" she asked as she looked at him once more, still curious as to where he was taking her. Her blue eyes scanned the area, thinking about many things, her brother, the kingdoms, her future.

[Haha, you must read my mind XD I am down for it if you are ^-^] Sebastian agreed with her when she said ones don't deserve to rule if they don't do what's best for their kingdom. He has known quite a few suitors of Lorelei's that are like that. She, of course, turned them down so fast that they probably had whiplash. She doesn't want to be with or around anyone that doesn't care about their kingdom or people. If anything, he knows that she cares for their people more than he does. He only says this as she is always found among the village-folks while he is in the castle learning more things, training, or sneaking off to have some alone time. She would be a kind and caring ruler once she becomes a Queen. There is no doubt in his mind about that. He looked at her, surprise seen on his face at what she said. He never thought she say that being friends would be fine as well. Though, he agrees with that more than anything. Though, he has a feeling he might fall for her after all even though he might not want to. She is kind, caring, and above all, she is does what she can to to help her kingdom and people. "Of course. I would be open for that as it will help a lot." He knew they will have some disagreements as time goes on, but that is just how things are. "Though, there should be a promise that should be made between us." He said, his gaze flickering over to her. "If we do end up falling for each other, I think it would be a good idea to tell the other no matter if they feel the same or not." He nodded his head, knowing that all he needs to send her is the ring that he wears on his right hand and she will come without any explanations. "That will work wonderfully." At her mention of her brother maybe not wanting help right away, he knows that it will be fine. It may take a while to get to him, but he has a feeling that Lorelei will be able to get through to her brother. "That is fine. We're patient. Well, more so her than me." He said, chuckling softly as he can be extremely impatient at times. He took the simple silver ring band off his ring finger before turning slightly to face Atticus. He ripped a piece of his clothing off, slipping the ring through it before tying it around the canine's neck. He knows that once she gets it, she will know where to meet them as they come to this place often. Besides, he only sends this ring in times of emergency and she cames quickly as possible to this place. "Lorelei." Is all he said before Atticus jumped off Zahra's flank and ran off in the direction towards his kingdom. He turned towards Amara as she started to talk again, his shoulders shrugging at her words. He rather not think about that right now as that isn't going to be happening right away. Well, he is sure it won't but it just might knowing his parents. "We can cross that bridge when the time comes. Though, it wouldn't matter to me as long as you are happy with whatever we decide to do." Zahra came to a stop as he gently pulled on her mane at the sight of the small pond surrounded by bushes, trees, and a few critters. He slipped off the mare's back, going over towards Amara and offering his hand. "Can I help you off, M'lady?" He teased, a smirk on his face.

(Awesome. I will get her brother up shortly. XD) Amara looked at him, curious as to why he would want that promise to happen. "Not that I object to the idea, but I am curious as to why we wouldnt tell the other" she said. "Fear of the other not feeling the same?" She felt rather, scared, for the answer, but she wanted to know why. *I would want to know if someone felt that way about me, well, if they even could* she thought. Amara seemed rather relived. "I am glad that you are willing to help. Thank you." She felt like a weight was lifted off her shoulder. As she watched Atticus leave she looked back to Sebastian. "I just hope he doesnt chase her away like he's done to our maids" she said as she looked down. She wanted to warn them of how bad her brother could be when he got into his bad moods. Amara nodded. "My father would probably pester that I stay in your castle, but with a merge, I feel a new castle would bring a new start." She placed her hand in his and nodded a thanks. "Thank you kind sir" she said as she slid off Luna who flicked her ears and sniffed Zahra now that their riders werent on. "This place is beautiful" she said with a smile.

[I will do the same.] Sebastian shrugged his shoulders slightly at her curious thoughts. "I mean, I would like to know whether or not I feel the same way or not. I wouldn't ever treat you differently if you ended up confessing to me." He said as he led her to the pond, his hand still in hers. He hadn't noticed it since it just kind of felt right, much to his disappointment. "But that is correct as well. Fear." He glanced at her slightly out of the corner of his eye before putting his attention on the pond before him. "Besides, I am bad at sometimes showing emotion, so this would be a good thing for me to promise." He said, a chuckle leaving his lips. He gave her a soft smile when she said that she is glad that they are willing to help. "Of course. Lorelei was like that for a while too, and still is, but she has kind of gotten better as the years go on." He mumbled, his hand slipping away from hers. He slipped the cloak off, running his hand through his messy hair that the hood created. He then slipped his boots off and rolled his slacks up to his knees. "It takes a lot for something to chase Lorelei away. She may not seem like it, but she is a tough cookie and doesn't break that easily as she used to." He turned towards her when she thought about having a new castle as a new start. It would only make sense as that would mean that it shows that the two kingdoms have made peace. It would mean a new start for everyone and an end in a way thanks to them. He nodded his head in agreement as to her. It sounded like a wonderful idea. "I agree. We can think more about it once we are actually married. Perhaps we could even start to draw out what we want the castle to look like." He suggested, his shoulders shrugging. He smiled softly when she said the place is beautiful. "Thank you. I tend to come here, sometimes with Lorelei as well, when we need to get away from the suffocating kingdom and trying to please our parents." He explained as he backed up into the water. Once it came to his ankles, a smirk played on his lips, his eyes shining with mischief. "Lookout." Was all he said before bending down and splashing water towards her.

Amara nodded as she listened to his reasonings. "Well, then how about this, since it is hard for you to show your feelings sometimes, I wont let you know, but dont be afraid to let me know" she offered. She knew he proabably wouldnt take to the idea, but it was just that, an idea. Her blue eyes looked back at the area around her and she smiled. "I just hope he doesnt do something stupid" Amara said as she looked back at Sebastian. "He has thrown a few things at servants here and there. I wont sugar-coat anything about what he's cone or is capeable of. It wouldnt be right if I did." She glanced over and saw Luna wondered slightly to graze while Cobalt played in the grass by her hooves. She was glad they were relaxed as it helped her relax as well. Amara nodded. "Perhaps it can be our surprise to the kingdoms. Keeping it quiet, then after we marry, we tell them, make the plans." She chuckled a bit at the idea of the kingdoms working to build it. She did often imagine having her own castle, though, she never thought of it being because of an arranged marriage. She always thought her father would take over more land that was not owned and the kingdom would need her to watch over the new land and she would become queen of her own area. She held her smile as she looked back at the prince. "I dont blame you. It must have been nice to get away often" she said. She let out a startled yelp before she laughed. "You are going to get it" she said, giving a mischivous smile. With a flick of her wrist, a ball of water flew up and dropped on Sebastian's head. With another giggle, Amara took off and "hid" behind the nearest tree and poked her head out to see his reaction.

[I would've replied sooner, but we were camping for the week and just got home yesterday.] Sebastian couldn't help but scoff at her compromise. He didn't like the thought of that very well. He would be the only one expressing anything while she just says nothing about how she feels. Sure, he has some problems when people express that they like him, but that doesn't mean that it is going to be a mess. He has a feeling that he will mess up a few times, but that is the part of learning what he has to do better. "Amara, absolutely not. That idea is only for me to do and not you. I think it is fair that we both do it." He listened to her, his shoulders shrugging at her words. "She is used to stupid." He muttered silently. He chuckled slightly at her saying that her brother has thrown things at the servants. He can see Lorelei getting pissed at the Prince and giving him a piece of her mind if he ends up doing that to her. "Don't worry, she will be fine. As I said, she is a tough cookie. I will say she will probably throw things right back at him and get pissed off, so I can't promise that she won't do anything stupid." He chuckled again, his head shaking at some of the things she has done to the guards and some of the suitors. Sebastian nodded his head at her words. "Sounds like a plan to me." He knew that his parents wanted him to take over the kingdom when he got married, but he never wanted to. He still doesn't, but at least this way he will get to start over as this will be a new kingdom. They can start on new land, but the land between the two kingdoms, and have their own village-folks that they will treat better. He is sure that his parents will be okay if Lorelei married some suitor and they ended up ruling in their castle. Then again, who knows what could happen. His brow raised when she said that he is going to get it, wondering what she has up her sleeve. Before he could do or say anything, a ball of water flew up and dropped on his head. A loud gasp left his lips, surprised that she did such a thing. He slipped his shirt off, throwing it over a branch to dry. Scars littered his toned chest, yet the scars were nothing compared to the ones that Lorelei has. "Now you are going to get it." He mumbled before running up to the tree she is hiding behind. He grabbed her, his arms wrapping around her waist before he lifted her up into the hair. He carried her to the pond, a grin on his lips as he looked up at her. "I would close your eyes and plug your nose." He smirked as he entered the pond, stopping when it is thigh deep. He then swung her slightly before throwing her into the pond. He started to laugh softly, his head shaking slightly. If life is this way with her, he is sure he will be able to handle it.

(Sorry, last couple days have been crazy) Amara nodded, finally agreeing to not tell him, if she did fall for him. "Alright" she said as her blue eyes landed on him. She glanced around for a moment before she watched Cobalt playing in the water and gave a small smile. Amara smiled. "Then I hope she can break through to my brother" she replied. "It would be nice to have him back to normal, where is isnt pushing anyone away." Smiling at the thought about her brother being himself, being the prince the guards needed to lead them and keep them from being fools. Before Amara could reply, she had been splashed into the fountain and was under the water. She laughed as she swam under the water. Poking her head up, Amara smiled. "Did you forget that those in my kingdom can breathe under water" she asked as she went under again, swimming around him, giving another splash before she came back to the surface. "My mother used to think that we came from mermaids, or at least, from and elf and mermaid having offspring together" she said as she stood up. With a flick of her wrist, she pulled the water off of both of them, drying them off as she watched him. Amara stiffened up as she heard someone calling for her. She turned to see one of the guards her father sent. "Princess, we saw you taking off. Are you alright" he asked as Amara stood tall. "I am fine. Your orders were to stay in the houses we are using for the night" she replied calmly, her smile gone. "Send word to my father that we will be on our way back tomorrow. Sebastian is coming with, along with his sister."

[All is alright! I hope you are okay that I skipped to the next day. I was stuck and just plain out had nothing to say in response lol. And my reply sucks XD] Lorelei arrived last night at the village he and Amara are staying in. It was dark by then, so she didn't get to see Amara before they went their separate ways until tomorrow morning. As always, she practically forced him to tell him about the woman instead of getting to know and see Amara for herself tomorrow morning. So, like a good brother, he gave her a simple explanation. Of course, she wasn't too happy with that, but she can't complain as she at least as some information about Amara instead of practically nothing. If she had come sooner, she would've met Amara. But no, she had to take forever to pack, yet she barely had any clothes when she arrived. He wonders something if she is truly okay when she decides to change and sees her appearance in the mirror. He wakes up at the crack of dawn, something he has always done for as long as he can remember. He waited an hour before he woke Lorelei up, helping her fix her hair as she sat on the bed eating some breakfast that contained some bread, cheese, and an apple. He wrapped a leather piece around her hair, making sure it is secured before letting go, a satisfied smile on his face that he made the ponytail look like she did it. There were braids on either side of her head, having it be pulled back with the rest of her hair in the ponytail. Man, he will have to do her hair more often if it comes out like this. "I am going to get Silro and Zahra ready while you get dressed. For the love of god, please don't take forever." He leaned down, pressing a kiss to her forehead after she let a muffled 'okay leave her lips. He slipped out of the house, making his way over to the stables and starting to saddle up their pegasus'. He gently stroked the dapple grey's neck, causing a nicker to come from the stallion. "I know. It's been a while." He hasn't seen the stallion for a few weeks now with how busy he has been with what his parents have put on his shoulders and sneaking off to have freedom. The same is for Zahra as well. Once he finished, he leads them out by the reins, handing Lorelei the stallions. He glanced over her appearance, a small laugh leaving his lips. He knew she wouldn't be wearing a dress since their parents aren't around to tell her what she has to wear. She wore pretty much what he is wearing; a pair of pains, a tunic with a long sleeve shirt underneath, and a pair of knee-high boots. Even with this attire, she looks good. Besides, at least no one will notice that they are the Prince and Princess of the Inferno Kingdom unless they truly get a good look at them as they pass by. "Right on time." He said, reaching over and pulling the hood of her cloak up to help conceal her appearance. "I am always on time." he scrunched his nose up, his head shaking at that before pulling his own hood up. He is clearly teasing her as she actually is never late. Hell, she is usually earlier than him to certain events or meetings. Edited at August 16, 2020 12:49 PM by Dance with the Devil

(Yeah, mostly just job applications, and things like that. The time skip works.) Amara paced slightly as she grew more and more nervous. While she knew her father would approve of Sebastian coming, she wasnt sure how he would react to his sister as well. She hadnt gotten much sleep from the night before, feeling, happy, for the first time in a while. If she and Sebastian could at least show they could be peaceful, the kingdoms could become peaceful. *They would also expect heirs from us as well* she thought suddenly as she tacked up Luna. *This will be interesting* she thought. Once Luna was tacked up, Amara quickly changed into her deep blue dress that had small designs that looked like stars across the bottom of it. Taking a look in the mirror, she pulled back a portion of her hair into a braid, leaving the lower half to fall on her shoulders. Amara walked back to Luna and saw Cobalt laying on the white mare's flank. "Well, time to head home and see how all this will play out" she said to her animal companions before she climbed into the saddle, sitting tall. Amara had Luna head to the center of the town to wait for Sebastian, her guards close to her side as though they were expecting to be attacked. An annoyed look on Amara's face was obvious with the guards so close to her, but she knew she couldnt exactly tell them to back up. They would end up telling her father and make it sound like she tried to run off, even if that isnt the case. Her mind wondered to the night before, and a small smile formed. *He really isnt as bad as everyone has claimed* she thought as she waited for Sebastian to arrive. She knew she was a little early, and she didnt mind waiting for him. Amara looked towards the route they would be taking back to her kingdom, her blue eyes scanning the distance for any sign of danger. Glancing at her guards she spoke. "One of you go scout ahead. We dont need any trouble with our guests coming with us" she said. "We dont need any trouble." One of them nodded and headed off with his mount to scout.

[Ah yes, job applications. How fun~] Sebastian honestly enjoyed being around Amara yesterday. He has a feeling they will get along just fine, even if they might not end up loving each other. Of course, that part will have to be an act when they are around people who aren't their parents, but that won't be a problem for him. He has practiced that for years, practically mastering acting. He kind of has to, especially in meetings if the topics they talk about are ridiculous, people are being stupid, or the decisions that are made are just pointless. Besides, acting sometimes around his parents work in his favor at times when he doesn't want to really do what they tell him to do. Sometimes they see through him, but most of the time they can't. Lorelei is a different story as they have practically been stuck together like glue. Not as much to this day considering they are much older and have certain duties to attend to. "Do you have a sword?" He asked her as he put the reins over the mare's head. "Crap. That is what I forgot." She mumbled, doing the same thing as him. Even though women aren't allowed to wield a sword and whatnot, he took it upon himself to teach her how to use one to protect herself after her accident. He doesn't want anything happening to her, so he taught her everything he knew. Of course, their parents weren't too happy when they found out what they have been doing, but they let them continue on, agreeing with him once he explained his reasoning. "So forgetful." He teased her, causing her to scowl at him before it turned into a laugh. "Whatever. Give me yours." She said, swinging herself onto Silro. He scoffed, swinging himself up as well with Atticus jumping onto the mare's flank before walking towards their destination where Amara is waiting for them. "Absolutely not. This is mine, not yours." He said, his hand going to the hilt of the sword to prevent her from reaching over and trying to grab it from her. "What is mine is yours. Now, give it here!" She tried to lean over, but he moved Zahra away to prevent her from trying to reach him. "Not a fat chance!" He said before taking off. After a few minutes, he saw Amara waiting with her guards, knowing that Xander is not far behind. "Sebby, you ruthless being!" Lorelei growled, not noticing Amara just yet as her gaze is set on him. "How in the world am I supposed to protect myself if I don't have a sword?!" He chuckled at her, his heading shaking. His facial features seemed so much more relaxed and softer with her around than yesterday. "Me a worthless being? Pfft, I am far from that. Besides, I didn't say I wasn't going to give you one. I said I wasn't going to give you mine." He corrected her. He untied the extra sword he has attached to his saddle and handed it to her. She grinned, happy to finally have something. That is when she finally noticed Amara, her face flushing with embarrassment by her non-lady-like behavior. "Um, sorry about that." She said as she quickly attached the sword to her hip. She collected herself, glaring at her brother with the amused look he has on his face. "I am Lorelei, Sebastian's brother. You must be Amara." She smiled softly, her voice holding such a sweet and friendly tone to it. "It's nice to finally meet the woman Sebby has been talking about nonstop." She teased, her gaze flickering over to him with a trumpet look in her eyes. He scoffed, his head shaking at her antics. "If I remember correctly, I didn't really tell you anything since you are so nosey. I told you that you get to know Amara when you see her. Stop trying to mess with the poor woman." She frowned at him, but said nothing else after that, knowing her antics didn't work one bit. "Anyways, good morning Amara. Shall we get on the road?" He asked with a soft smile and a raise of his brow.
