Imani glared at Zeus, but he did have a point. She didn't know what to do.

"What if he poisons me or someone else? He could kill us just as easily here as he could leaving!"

Imani looked between the two, completely overwhelmed.

Finally she just stormed out towards their den, collapsing to the floor. Her breathing was ragged as she tried to think of what to do. Either way could get her or someone else killed.

Zeus breathed a sigh, he knew he said the rugjt things, but he did what he didnt want to do, worry Imani. He cast a glare towards the healer. "You better not kill my cubs." He growled, but the medic just smiled, and went back to doing his activities.

Zeus left the den and traceled back to Imani and his den. "Imani." He said, as he entered and laid beside her, "everything will be fine. He hasnt killed anybody before, and hopefully he diesnt have the strength to do it. He want kill anyone or our cubs. I promise." He paused thinking of what to say next. "I will have him pick an apprebtice tomorrow." He said, "he will be out by the time our cubs are born."

Imani took deep breaths as she tried to convince herself everything would be fine.

"Okay, okay." She said, calming herself slightly with the words.

Imani lay in a patch of sunlight one afternoon. Pride life had been easygoing the past few months. She felt like she was going to burst at any minute, her pregnancy causing her to not want to do much. She had been officially banned from joining hunting patrols by Zeus a few weeks ago, so she didn't have much else she could do but nap these days.

Zeus had recently been takimg ober the border and hunting patrols, leaving him out of camp for a lomg time. Luckily though, he could trust Loki to keep an Eye on things when he wasnt there. He had just got back from the hunting patrol when he saw Imani laying in the grass. He walked over to her. The Pride knew, because after the attacks Zeus and Imani had told them, the ir had boosted Pride morale. He layed down next to her, trying not to lay on her plump stomach, as she'd told him it hurt. "Hoe are You feeling?" He asked, looking into Imani's eyes.

Imani looked up at Zeus, smiling.

"Bored." She said with a chuckle, "How were the patrols?" She asked as he laid down next to her.

"Patrols were good, nothing on the border Patrol, which was a good thing, and we caught only an antelope, the herds are migrating, so there is a smaller amount of prey." He told her, licking her cheek. "But I care about you, your due any minute." He said, casting a glance at her swollen belly, holding the future of the Pride. "I am here when you need me. And the healers apprentice is almost done with training. He delivered twins last week." He said, pointing towards the nursery, where a lioness laid, and squeaks rang about.

Imani chuckled, "I appreciate it, but I don't need coddling." She said as she flicked his nose with her tail.

The suspense of her due date was approaching, rising her nerves. She had been on edge for the last week or so. She knew the pride was eager for the cubs to be born, to help rise the numbers that had finally started to grow slowly after the rouges attack.

His nose tickled as her tail brushed across it. "Very stubborn are you." He said with a smile, clearly teasing her. He flicked his tail across her nose in retalliation. Then he rise to his paws. "I am going to go talk with Loki for a second." He said. Zeus and Imani had begun to trust Loki after the attacks. Then he whispered down into her ear. "I'm going to make him to Godfather of the cubs." He said, quietly, "Unless you object your majesty." He added, giving a slugjt bow. If something ever happened to Zeus, he would be lucky to have a lion like Loki fill in his place, as either King ot the cubs "Father".
