Ari whined as Chino got up, and walked into his bedroom

( Take your time. )

Brian shivered and curled into himself as Chino left.

Ari watched him, like a mother protecting her little ones, never leaving her eyes off him

Brian shuddered and shook in his sleep, nightmare's and pain keeping him hostage.

Ari then decided to jump up onto the couch and sleep with Brian to let him know that nothing was going to hurt him any more.

She placed her head on his leg after curling up in his legs, keeping him warm and ultimately safe

brian immediately stopped shivering, breathing evenly.

Chino was able to get a few things done both at the house and at the headquarters before nightfall and noticed that Brian was still ont he couch, but with Ari in his lap. What a pair they make she thought grabbing a warm blanket and put it on Brian before heading to his room and changed into night clothes and got itno bed before turning the lights down.

Brian held the blanket close, dozing off again.

Chino didnt wake up the following mproning like he used to. So Ari woke up first and nuzzled Brian, licking his cheek to see if he was doing ok.

Brian stirred beside Ari and smiled. " Morning Ari " He say's quietly.
