I raised an eyebrow slightly. "Dmitro. And I didn't come early." I huffed, though I had. Two whole hours early. I shrugged. "Roommates? Really? I'm too old for that." I grumbled. But the idea of having my own bed and a roof over my head until I could hightail it out of here was rather appealing. I made a face. But living with an angel until then didn't sound like much fun. Not like I had a choice. I groaned. "How far away is this house? It better not be more than a kilometer away, I'd freeze to death trying to get there" I shifted my weight from one foot to the other, rubbing my arms subconsciously. It was cold, waaayy too cold. I hadn't been able to feel my toes, nose or fingers for the last hour. If I weren't wearing a hat my ears would probably be frostbitten. I really needed some sleep. A bit longer standin out here and I'd fall over.

Elysia nodded. "The house isn't too far, I think. Maybe a 30 minute walk?" It was pretty far but if they speed-walked they might make it there before they both froze. Elly glanced down at her clothes: a plain pink shirt, jeans, white and pink trainers and her wooly cardigan. She'd tried to fit in with humans and after a bit of research this seemed like a good choice. If only she'd checked the weather too. Her breath came out in a small puff of white cloud. "Okey doke, we should get going." Elly shivered again, her nose was numb but thankfully her ears were covered by her hair, not that it helped too much. She began walking, not wanting to wait too long in the cold.

I nodded curtly, taking off as if I had any idea where the house was. Atleast it wasn't far. I didn't bother to check if she was behind me or not. I kept walking for about a minute before I gave in and stopped. No point in looking for the house like this. I tapped my foot impatiently, crossing my arms again. I was becoming more uncomfortable by the second, eager to get out of the cold. I was surprised that Elysia wasn't frozen up. Her clothes looked even thinner than mine. If that was even possible. I knew Earth was cold, but not that cold. This was a nightmare. At least it wasn't blistering hot, though I'd be more able to deal with that. I rubbed my hands together, trying to warm them. "So, uh. Where exactly is this house?"

Elysia glanced at Dmitro, curious if he actually knew where the house was. He did not. "This way," she replied, pointing to the opposite direction he had been heading in. "Come on." She grabbed Dmitro's sleeve, tugging him along with her. If he cooperated they would be there in no time. Another gust of wind blew past them, throwing Elysia's hair in her face. Irritably, she moved her hair back, tucking it behind her ear. Elly was starting to dislike earth weather. Those pictures she had seen on the internet weren't exactly truthful. Or maybe they were and this was just a terrible place to live.

I grimaced as she pulled me along, though I bit back my protest. I turned my face to the side, shielding it from the harsh wind. Pulling my sleeve from her grip, I followed her to wherever this house was. It had better be big enough. If I had to share a room with her I might just go insane. The house seemed furthur away than I'd thought. I felt like we'd been walking for hours. But a glance at my watch told me it had been five minutes. Only? I groaned. "How much farther?" I fought the urge to whine. This was a pain. And I was so done with it.

Elysia was a little surprised that he took his sleeve back, he looked to small he could fly away in the wind. Then again if he did she could go back home... Hopefully the Earth weather would do her a favour. "I told you, it's at least a good twenty minutes from here. Though if we took the alleyways..." Elly quietened, trying to figure out the best way to the house. "If we took the alleyways," she continued, "we could probably get there a lot quicker. Maybe within ten minutes? But that's a lot more dangerous." She grabbed his sleeve again, worried about him trying to run off again. She remembered what she'd been told. He was supposed to be a tricky one. "Earth can be pretty dangerous, nothing like home," she stated, trying to fill in the silence between them. "I heard they have these little creatures called dogs. I think we should get one for the house. Or maybe a kitten."
