Sam did sometimes have a bad temper, but he decided to let it go, just because of how gorgeous this girl was. He sighed, calming down and rubbing his forehead. "It's okay, don't worry about it," he spoke, his voice a lot calmer than it was earlier when the incident first occurred. He took a good look at her, before smiling slightly at her response. Was she flirting with him? Sam couldn't really tell, he was pretty bad at flirting and was often oblivious to people flirting with him. "Um, sure you can get me a drink. Americano, black," he said, grabbing some napkins that a waitress had left for him, dabbing his t shirt gently trying not to stain it too much further. He huffed, heading deeper into the coffee shop and waiting by the barista area, all the while looking back at the girl who poured coffee all over him.

" Black Americano comin up." SHe chuckled as she headed back to the front to order yet another drink. " One large black americano please." She tilted her head just to see the male just at the corner of her eyes. He's looking at me she thought to herself, blushing slightly. But by the time she had the chance to look at him the voice spoke up "one Black Americano." Valerii picked it up and brought it back to the male " there you go" As she handed him the cup she bravely looked up " the names Val. Yours?" she wanted to start over with all this and forget the moment, but what would her father say when he would ask for all that happened? She couldnt lie to him. " by the way.. uhm... you have a little crumb on your chin" she snatched it and tossed it into the open trash bin. Showing off her rather flowing black hair. A slight purple dye shown through.

Sam leaned against the wall, smiling to her and gently taking the coffee from her. He made sure to be careful since she spilt one down him only 5 minutes earlier. "Thank you. My name is Sam," he said, before feeling embarrassed that he had a crumb on him and he didn't realise. "Oh thanks," he said, letting out a soft chuckle. He rubbed the back of his neck and sipped on his coffee. "Next time, make sure to not spill your coffee all down some stranger, yeah?" He warned, a small smile pressing against his lips. He was kind of glad it happened, if it didn't, Sam would probably had just believed that she was really pretty whilst walking past and then never seeing her again. So he supposed it was a blessing in disguise.

" No promises, Sam" She smirked. " i make no such promises to anyone.. have to admit that was funny... the look on you-" she paused and composed to herself and took a deep breath in and exhaled " sorry.. that was rude" I wonder whats going through that thick skull of his she thought as she tilted her head and bit her lip for just a split second " I uh.. should get going... I.. Uh... have stuff to get for my dad... " she didnt wanna do this, but she did have a strict deadline. " Meet here tomorrow maybe? Maybe talk a little more?" She was never this brave in stepping up to the plate and innitiate this kind of conversation. Gangsters never did that. Well men didnt.. women... you never could tell if they were normal or in a gang. does he realize who he's talking to even she laughed at her question. Maybe he will if he comes tomorrow " I'll let you think on it, ok?" Valerii said, gently fisting his arm before finishing her bagel and quickly left the cafe to run her other 20 errands she promised her father she would get done. But it was an hour later that her phone rang " ello, Fin" She said, as she passed the station " I wish I could uh help but im on a tight schedule. Dont tell dad this... but i met this cute handsome guy out by the cafe off of Fitzgerrald street. And i uh.. asked him to go back tomorrow...." she kept on talking to him on the phone as she walked in the sun. Edited at August 13, 2023 03:20 PM by Queen Elsa

Sam rolled his eyes, it seemed like this girl didn't think before she thought about it. It had clearly gotten her into trouble before, because she quickly cleaned up and apologised for her speech. He shrugged it off, she was an interesting character that was for sure. He had never seen a girl like her, very independent and confident in her manner. It was refreshing to see, definitely. Sam tilted his head to side, wondering if she was asking him on a date. He thought about it, before nodding. "Alright, see you," he said, furrowing his brows as he watched her leave. Very interesting she was.
He sat down at a nearby table, finishing his coffee and reading some of the newspaper. Shocking. More gang related news. Sam rolled his eyes and got up, leaving the cafe. He wandered around, grabbing his supplies that he came into town for. He did wonder though, was he going to return to the cafe the next day? He didn't know. Maybe.

hes one hell of a guy Valerii thought as she went on her way, thinking about only one thing. Him. His eyes... face... muscles... No.. stop it, Val... you're NOT getting into this crap again... remember the last time? her mind raced quickly as she saw a police car drive right past her. The tinted glass was hard to see through, but she could tell it was male nonetheless. All she did was wave before walking on. " police in this are patroling? maybe I should get out of this spot before I either get caught or something stupid" like being gorgeous she added to herself. She called Fin and asked for him to pick her up and drive her back home. She'd just had one hell of a start of her morning and it would only get more problemact as the day turned into afternoon and then to dark. The best time for the Gang to be the most active.

Sam sighed gently, walking back toward his house, having a few conversations with people he knew as he past them. It was a small town, meaning there were very limited people that he didn't know. Apart from her. He had never seen her before. Maybe she was new to town, just visiting possibly? He decided not to dwell on it and he spent the rest of the day writing, studying and burning a hole into his brain.
Sam had a very important exam coming up from his medical, as he was training to become a doctor. His father wanted him to be a sheriff like him, but he knew he would just be circling around that gang for the rest of his life too. Not a life he wanted to live, so doctor it was. The test was a couple of days away, so he didn't leave it completely last minute.

"I wish I could have stayed with him longer, Fin... he's just so odd... you know in that weird manly handsome look type of way... I dont know what got into me asking him if he wanted to go to the cafe tomorrow... dumn I know..." she babbered on about her day before they finally reached the Far West end of the town. the most populated area of small roups of gangs. " Thanks, Fin, text me if you need something. I'll happily dro-" he closed the window and drove off. As she closed the door, she took out all the items she had gotten. less than half of the items on the list, and put them in his home office way in the back of the house. Locking it after she came out and headed to her room. As it turned out, John wasnt home must have left for shopping stuff she thought as she saw that his motorbike was gone. She then grabbed an apple and sat on the couch with her phone, looking at videos to pass the time.

Sam eventually gave up, realising the words on the page were no longer looking like words that made sense. He was having a moment of pure confusion. Time to call it a night, he thought. As he grabbed his water bottle, his father came through the door. Looking rather defeated. Another day of not catching that gang. He rolled his eyes discreetly and smiled at his father. "Hey dad, tough day?" He asked, tilting his head to the side as he watched his father collapse onto the sofa. "Yeah. Pretty bad, son," his father spoke, yawning tiredly and soon he was fast asleep.
Sam sighed deeply and walked up the stairs to his room. Another day gone. He slept pretty peacefully, knowing that he might see that pretty girl again. Hopefully she was at the cafe again tomorrow. He never met any confident girls like her, so he was intruiged to see what she was actually like, instead of just in a brief interaction like it was earlier in the day.

As the day turned into night, the rather small town was very quiet. Untill some of the smaller gang groups went out and vandalized the brick walls. John, his gang and his daughter all stayed in their rightfull places. Safe and away from the police. They were spotted once, and then never again. But it wouldnt be the gang itself being spotted. It would be Valerii. She may have been a gang member, but she sure didnt look like it. Except for maybe the dragon tattoo on her neck and the rose gold nose ring. Valleri slep like an absolute queen that night, thinking about weither she would meet the male again.Falling asleep rather quickly to then only wake up 9 hours later to the hot birning sun coming from her window. This time, she got into rather tight fitting shorts, a half shoulder like shirt, her nose ring and fancy boots before taking the same list with her like the day before and went on her rounds. She wouldnt go to the Cafe till way later in the afternoon. Waving at a few more policemen and toher townsfolks as she made her important rounds.
