"Momma." River whines. Snow turned her head to her pup but kept a eye on the males. She licked her daughters head. She sees that the one who was talking lowered his head, as she sees that as not a threat. "How can I trust you? If your telling the truth?" Her ears flattened on her head as her growling decreased. River went underneath her mother as she feels safer there. Snow knew that she won't last more time being out her alone with her pup. She turns her head back at the males.

Snow saw the main male fur bristled at her aggressive growls. But stood her ground as she then saw him lowered his head, to inform her that he was not a threat. Which made her growls decreased to a deep growl in her throat. "Momma..." River was scared of the males as she hides more behind her mother right flank. "How can I know that your telling me the truth? Packs aren't friendly to loners." As she turns her head quickly to her daughter, licking her face before turning her head back to the males. She can tell that her blood was dripping a lot as her eyes glazed over a bit.

"Look," Hondo said, and rose his head, "I hate to see you and your pup like this, you can stay with my pack for as long as you'd like." He finished, concern flashing in hus eyes. She needed medical attention, and they needed food. "Let me introduce myself. I am Hondo, Alpha of the Eastern Mountain Pack. This is my fellow warrior Kuruk." He started moving towards the mother and daughter, but at a slow pace. "Let me help you, do it for your pup."

Snow backed up a little as she had her head down, pinning her ears even more against her head. She listened to what the male wolf said, Hondo. River looked at Hondo moving slowly towards them. Snow turns her head to her pup as she sighs. "Please don't harm us, if we-" She didn't finish her sentence as she sees black spots in her eyes sight. Snow rolled her eyes in the back of her head as she collapse. River whines as she nudges her mother, she didn't realize that Snow was unconscious from the bloodlost.

As the mother wolf collapsed Hondo ran to her side. He knelt down next to her, the sign of collaspe obvious, blood loss. "Kuruk!" Hondo said, turning to the Warrior. "Rush back to camp and grab more Warriors, prepare the medics and the medic den." Kuruk gave an obidient nod, and turned tail and ran. Hondo turned back to the mother. He grabbed a clump of moss nearby and pressed it against the wound. He heard whimpering and remembered the pup nearby. He turned to the pup, "Its gonna be okay," he said in a soothing voice. "We will take care of your mother. Trust me."

River nodded her head as she lays down near her mother hearing what Hondo said. She watches as the Pack Alpha helps her mother. She didn't want to lose her mother.

Kuruk had rushed back to camp and grabbed two fellow Warriors. He had also told the medics what happened and what to expect when they returned. Hondo gave a sigh of relief when they came back. One of the Warriors had also brought a rabbit, which Hondo stripped the fur and gave to the pup, not knowing if it had been weaned or not. He helped hoist the mother onto Kuruk's back, and helped carry her back to camp, with her pup in his mouth, which he held by the scruff. They laid her down in the medics den where the medics gave her herbs for pain and for the wound. Hondo placed the pup down at the entrance, not allowing her to go in, the medics needed to do their work. He bent down and nosed the pup. A smirk showed on his face as he bemt into a play bow. Tounge lolling from his mouth he gave a playful bark. He ran up and touched her bose and dashed off towards the other side of camp, his tail wagging, inviting her to play.

River watches as her mother was put on Kuruks back, seeing a skinned rabbit as she eats it. She gave a small yelp in surprised from being picked up by her scruff. Smelling the scent it was Hondo. She was finally set down as she shakes herself. River felt a poke as she turns seeing Hondo in a playful bow. She tilts her head as she doesn't know what he's doing. She just lays down, as she was never taught to play.

Hondo skidded to a halt. He turned back towards the pup, who had layed down instead of chasing him. He cocked his head, and a frown started to form. Had this pup never played? He trotted back up to her and layed down in front of her, studying her. "Have you never played?" He asked the pup. He gave his head a firm shake. "Here, I'll teach you. Play is just having fun, just give chase. By the way, whats your name?"

River looked up at Hondo as she shakes her head. "Momma and I, we have no time for play. Being out there, it's tough." She turns her head to look where they had her mother. "River. Where I was born." As she got up, sitting down on her haunches. "I'm good with waiting, Hondo..."
