This woman admitting that they had been plotting their death for years made Abel shift his weight on his feet, but also come to the realization that she was for sure capable of more than she let on. Seriously, how could one human piss off that many werewolves and not be dead yet? Personally, if a human pissed Abel off that much, their body would be a mangled mess floating at the bottom of the nearby river. But that was just Abel, and Alistair's gang of hoodlums could never compete. They were always messy and never actually committed to anything.

"Oh, you're welcome," Abel said, sarcastic cockiness in his tone. He held his head up higher now, inclining it as though he was some sort of royal. Which... wasn't that far fetched, just not what you immediately think when you think of a royal. No, he doesn't live in a kingdom with a surrounding village and the townsfolk beg him to do something about their situation, but rather he commands an army and is treated like a king. Or at least that was one way to put it. But from either way you looked at it, Abel and his kind would never be accepted in the world as valid beings.

Why else would hunters exist?

Abel cocked a brow. "What the fuck did you do?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. By now he was very intrigued, and he wasn't sure of whether or not to maybe kill her now as she could become a threat or just accept the fact that she could easily be used against Alistair. It seemed desperate of the opposing alpha to send his entire pack after this one girl, so maybe he could hold that above his head. Granted using someone against an enemy isn't the best thing to do, but she was human - she was gonna die one way or another.

"Well, Ruina, I gotta admit, it's a damn miracle you're even alive." Abel commented. While he was being kinda sarcastic, which he really wasn't trying to be, it really was. How was she alive? An entire pack after her, probably catching the eyes of a bunch of others as well... Maybe her being on his territory wouldn't end well, but hey, Abel couldn't tell the future. Maybe this was his fate though - encounter this woman and his life would be changed forever.

But first of all, hearing her hesitate to ask to "shelter her from those wolves" made Abel clench his fist slightly. He nodded reluctantly, clear that what he was doing probably wouldn't be accepted by his pack. Or at least most of them - Jasper would definitely support it and from there he would talk to everyone cause Jasper was one damn good persuasive wolf.

"I guess I could. No gaurantee that your body won't end up at the bottom of a river though within the first twenty-four hours," Abel joked, but there was this sort of feeling in his tone that let the woman know that he wasn't entirely joking. It was very possible that the next day Abel could wake up and she'd just be dead. Humans on the land was one thing, but bringing one to the home was another. It wasn't like it was in the werewolf handbook to never bring a human home, but it definitely wasn't any alpha's first thought.

"Don't make me regret though. I can make you disappear. You could even be Alistair's first meal of the day," he threatened slightly, though it was mainly playful banter. That's what most of what Abel said was. But she should really listen.

Now what did she do to piss Alistair off?

"Oh, you're welcome."

Ruina stares at the werewolf. The hell? Was he just another cocky arrogant bastard who happened to be the leader of a wolf pack? Was it really worth it asking him for help? Did his pack even have the strength to hold off the one after her? Perhaps they did. After all, they'd gotten the pack to leave her alone so far. She didn't know how long that would last though. But, she was willing to find out. Kind of.

"What the fuck did you do?"

A laugh slips out of Ruina's lips. It was a cold natured laugh, one filled with very little humor. "Let's just say I got some revenge." Oh yeah she got some revenge. She'd gotten every single wolf who had deserved it. Unlike they had been, she was merciful when she's attacked. Quick and painless. Though she made sure they were looking her in the eye as they died. Her family hadn't deserved to die. They weren't even hunters. When her father had given up that life, that made it so his children were never a part of that life. But yet, here she was, his youngest daughter. Running from a pack towards another one.

"Well, Ruina, I gotta admit, it's a damn miracle you're even alive."

A small smirk plays across her face,"Yeah. A miracle." It was a mixture of luck, skill, and training. Some called it a miracle. Ruina just called it torture. Every damn day, having to look over her shoulder. Always on the move. No home, no family. Nothing. But she wasn't going to bow down to the werewolves that easy. Oh no. She may have taken her revenge. But her life was far from over. She wasn't about to roll over on her belly and let the wolves have her. Oh no. They wouldn't get her that easy.

Some relief floods into Ruina as Abel nods. So, he would shelter her from the other pack. No doubt Abel's own pack would not be happy. But honestly, she just needed to stay long enough for the other pack to grow disinterested and leave her alone. Of course, she had no idea how long that would take. But, with any luck Abel's pack would be able to put up with her long enough.

"I guess I could. No guarantee that your body won't end up at the bottom of a river though within the first twenty-four hours."

He was joking, partly, Ruina was not. She flashes a brief smile,"It'd be better than dying to that other pack." She figured it would be best not to mention that not only was she a hunter, but her entire family were hunters. Even the family's that branched off. Cousins, second cousins, and onward. Apparently it really was a family business. Cause last Ruina heard, she had family in every country in the world and at least five of them were hunters. Hell, one branch of the family up in London there were at least fifty of them. All hunters and all well trained.

"Don't make me regret though. I can make you disappear. You could even be Alistair's first meal of the day."

Ruina fires back,"Oh, trust me. I won't be missed by anyone." She wasn't scared by his threat. Sure he tried to make it sound like a banter. But, she knew it was a threat. "And as long as your wolves leave me alone. Then I have no issue." Yup. As long as none of Abel's wolves attacked her, she'd have no reason to fight back and she sure as hell would have no reason to even pull out her silver blade. It all depended on how Abel's wolves acted.

Revenge was something that Abel never liked playing around with. To him, it was foolish and arrogant. Selfish, even. It could drive a man crazy and break him down. He had seen the outcome of some of those who even got it. Honestly, it didn't fix much, though he couldn't judge Ruina simply because of the fact the two had just met. It wasn't like he knew the reason, either, so there couldn't be much else to say. It would be a question to ask later. And to be fair, it really wasn't any of his business.

"A miracle indeed," Abel nodded. How could she not at least genuinely agree? Or maybe that was her way of doing so. Abel never really understood human's nature. Which was honestly ironic considering he was partially human, but there would forever be a beast thriving inside of him no matter where he went. It didn't matter how much he wanted to suppress it. He would still be hiding in the woods with a group just like him. It was simply life at this point.

"Oh trust me, dying in either pack would be horrible. I guess I'll talk to my pack, though. Perhaps save your ass again," Abel said playfully. He figured it was the least he could do considering housing a human wasn't the first thing a werewolf would do, let alone a hunter. But maybe she could repay them - Abel, mainly - and everything would be fine.

"You might not be missed by anyone, but the newspaper would be greatly intrigued," Abel joked. He then gestured for her to begin following her, in which he began going back to the mansion. He followed the trail as if it was the back of his hand, but the only thing was that there was no trail. Not physically, anyway. Abel had memorized these woods when he was a boy.

"So how long have you been running from them?" Abel asked, looking over his shoulder to see whether or not she was following. Ruina seemed to know how to take care of herself and to be fair, she seemed to know how to kill a werewolf so he could assume for quite some time at this point. Abel hummed softly as he waited for a response. He began to ponder how his packmates would react. It couldn't be too bad. His father had taken in a few humans in his time, so at this point it could only be expected.

Maybe not.

(Sorry this is late and kinda short- motivation is running short)

Ruina had never planned to ever join what her grandfather wanted her and her siblings to do. She knew of the werewolves, her grandfather made sure of that, but just like her brothers she never wanted to be a part of it. They wanted to have normal lives, not spending it chasing after supernatural creatures who changed into wolves and were even more aggressive on the full moon. She knew the job of the hunters had to be filled, but it was just never something she wanted to fill. But when the accident had happened, something just snapped in her. But even then, she didn't want to be a hunter. In fact, all she wanted now was to live peacefully as a normal human.

A small smile flickers across her face, he wasn't wrong. At the last half of his statement, she lets out a laugh, shaking her head. "I could save my own ass, thank you very much." She could, and can, but there was only so long she could save her own ass. Especially against so many werewolves. Not even the great and the powerful Ailluin Agarvran, the greatest hunter the Agarvran family had ever seen. It made it ironic and typical that the hunter had been slain by a werewolf. Revenge. Funny how revenge worked. It could continue on forever. One could kill another, and that one's family or friend could get revenge, and then it would be back and forth.

Ruina chuckles, that was true. She didn't figure the newspaper would care too much about who she was. Just that she had been mauled to death. If her body was ever found. Some werewolves hid them and never let them be found. Some allowed them to be found. She had learned, just like humans, all the werewolves were different. Perhaps all beast-like but still, different.

Abel starts off, gesturing for Ruina to follow. And after a moment's hesitation she does. It didn't seem like there was any trail, but Abel seemed to be knowing exactly where he was going. Which didn't surprise Ruina. If these woods were his home, then without a doubt he knew them without a single doubt. It was just like her home. They had owned a pretty decent size chunk of land, and some of it had some forest on it, but Ruina never got lost in it. She knew it way to well.

A long time. "Oh, I guess a few months." She hadn't really kept up with how long she'd been on the run. She just focused on the future. All she wanted was a normal life. Honestly, Ruina wanted to experience love. Was that stupid? Perhaps. But it was something that she wanted. Maybe it was human nature, maybe not, but she didn't want to just roll over and die.

(All good^^)

Hearing the woman say that she could take care off her own was something that Abel didn't doubt. She could, probably would if she wasn't outnumbered. He scoffed. "Is that why I had to call an entire pack off of your ass?" He asked, cocking a brow towards her. While he was being sarcastic, he believed he made at least a half-valid point. The point was that if she could really save her own ass, in theory, she wouldn't have made it much further if Abel hadn't been there. Her car would've stopped working and she'd be greatly outnumbered. By then, she'd definitely be at the bottom of a river.

Abel could tell she was hesitant about following him, but he couldn't blame her. Abel taking her in was a risky move as most of the werewolves would probably doubt Abel and of course be wary of a human. What was there for him to blame? Nothing. They each had their own right, just as Ruina did deciding to follow him. For all she knew, he could easily be leading her into a trap of sorts. Obvioulsy he wouldn't do that, but it would be an option.

Abel nods. "A few months, huh? That couldn't have been the first time they were hot on your trail," Abel assumed. That's what you get for messing with a pack so big. Just like how people say you mess with the bull, you get the horns; you mess with a wolf, you get the pack. It was simply a code. Each werewolf and pack had one, but once a packmate was attatcked or killed, you never let that go until they were brought to justice.

Again, Abel never liked the idea of revenge. He was more of a pacifist, preferring to deal with things in a more mature way. Or so he'd like to think. These modern packs were always out-growing what an older pack lived by, such as Abel's own pack, so he wasn't always sure what to believe. But he was famous for his way of being a more neutrel leader, coming to agreements rather than starting wars. A good reputation in his opinion.

Abel continued on, seeing the mansion come into view. Outside stood Japser who came running up to Abel.

"Are you alright?" He asked. Abel nodded.

"I'm fine, Jasp," Abel responded, then turning his ehad to Ruina.

"This is Ruina. She's a human... as most of you could probably smell," Abel chuckled lightly. More wolves came into view, looking at the girl. "She's been on the run from Alistair for a while now and I'm - we're - going to be helping her. I get a lot of you probably want nothing to do with a human, but I'm sure her skills will come in handy around here. If you don't like it, take it out on me, not her," Abel stated, making himself clear. He heard murmurs among the group, most of which were probably something along the lines of why would Abel do this?, but he wouldn't dare listen in on things like that.

Jasper looked at Ruina. "I'm Jasper. We'll keep you safe as long as you promise not to slaughter us in your sleep," he gave a toothy grin, followed by holding out his hand for a shake. Abel laughed at his friend's remark.

Ruina raises her eyebrow,"Hey. I've been surviving on my own for a pretty good time before I ever came near another wolf pack. You saved my life once. I've saved my life dozens of times." Despite the teasing tone of her voice, she wasn't kidding. She'd managed to out run and out smart the wolf pack for months. Perhaps this time it would have been her end since her car broke down. But still, she'd survived this long by herself. He'd only saved her once. She was pretty damn sure she could take care of herself. But a little help wasn't declined either.

Trusting a wolf. Something her grandfather tried to instill in her and her brothers for ages. It got to the point where her parents quit allowing her grandfather to visit or allowing her or her siblings to visit him. Her grandfather was a hunter, he always had been and he wanted the legacy to continue in the Agarvran family. He knew that his son would never do it, and had hoped his grandchildren would. How ironic that in the end, Ruina really had ended up as a hunter. Of some sorts.

Ruina laughs,"Are you kidding? I've been attacked many times--" She had scars to prove them. "I've had a few with their claws and teeth at my throat." How was she not dead? No doubt a question that could arise with those words. She was wondering that herself. She never meant to have the whole pack after her. She just wanted revenge for what a few of the pack's wolves did to her. A life for a life. Wasn't that the saying? Perhaps there was a smarter way she could had gone at it. But whatever it was, it was way to late now. The revenge was taken and now the whole pack was out for her blood.

Ruina slows again as they emerge out of the woods where a mansion was starting to come in view. Her lips thin, this was it. She could have just walked straight into a trap and was about to be slaughtered. Or it could be her new, temporary, home. It depended. With any luck, it's be a temporary home. Already someone stood outside. It was a man, who as soon as he saw Abel, he was moving towards them. Ruina's gaze flickers between the two. Jasp, so Jasper. Best friends she assumed. Ruina blinks as Abel introduces her, gaze moving around as soon as more wolves come into sight.

As soon as Abel finished telling his pack that they were going to help Ruina and shelter her from Alistair, no doubt the Alpha of the pack who'd been after her for months. The one whose packmates she killed. She wouldn't say slaughtered. She was merciful and quick. Something they probably shouldn't have deserved. But, Ruina was no monster. She wasn't a beast. And she sure as hell wasn't a hunter. She refused to think of herself as one, even if all of her training and abilities said she was.

She glances at Jasper, digesting his words. After a moment she shakes his hand. No promises. "I'm not a murderer." Came her simple answer. She wouldn't slaughter them as long as they didn't bother her. Self defense would be the only reason she ever attacked one of Abel's. She was no murderer.
