Marcos's smirk grew wider as he got the reaction he was hoping. He looked at the stick and rolled his eyes. That stick couldn't hurt him and he knew it. "That stick is as weak as water is to a plant." He said and snatched the stick in his hand and snapped it in half. His smirk disappeared as the stick fell to the ground. He didn't like the stick being pointed at him. That was a no-go to him.

Oh... possibly this was the time she needed to run. Kelio contemplated turning tail and running into the woods, but in the current time of night, that was the last thing she wanted to do. She had completely forgotten she even carried a weapon anymore, but when it came to her mind whipped out her dagger- it wasnt much, but could do some damage need be. Kelio inched backwards, hoping the other wouldnt notice her actions.

Marcos stepped towards the other and then when he saw the other pull out a dagger he grew angrier. Another weapon? That was foolish. He took another step before kicking the stick towards the other. He wouldn't allow the other to flee, not now at least. Marcos leaned forwards and went into a hunting stance. His back was urched into a way that would have made it so that he could sprint towards the other easily. This stance was more than a hunting stance at this point. It was an angry posture for him to attack swiftly if needed. "You aren't going anywhere." His voice hissed out with both rage and annoyance. Not a good combination for him and his emotions.

Not going anywhere? A rather confident statement, that was, wasnt it? Kelio, although slightly frightened, easily dodged the stick, before booking it in the other direction. That probably wasnt a great idea because she couldnt see well in the dark, and well.. thus could draw more attention from who knows what. She dashed into the woods, narrowly snagging herself on some thorns, before tripping over a rather large rock, knocking the wind out of the doe, leaving her on the ground, trying to regain her breath.

Marcos sprinted directly after the other: jumping easily over anything in his way. The objects in his way were easily navigated and overcome. Unlike the other, he had known this forest for a long time and could easily navigate it while being blind. Slowing down after a while he sniffed the air to locate the scent of the other but also birds. Many birds. He saw the other on the ground and laughed. "See what I told you? You're not going anywhere." He took a step and grabbed the other, not caring if he was gentle anymore. He was far too angry to stop himself if he was, in fact, hurting the other. He glared at the other, his hatred towards the other would be enough to suffocate the poor creature.

Kelio was about to raise from her fall, but was caught off guard. Her heart raced; fear coursing through her veins. She tried to pull away, growling. "Let go of me!"

Marcos snarled at the other. He was clearly angry and his anger fumed into rage. "This is all your fault." His grip tightened as he glared at the other. He didn't like being told what to do, especially not by the one that tried to hurt him. "If you didn't try to fight me then this never would have happened."

In reality, what was she supposed to do? After all, what would you do if you were in this situation? Kelio grunted as his grip tightened, but her eyes didn't display fear any longer, yet was replaced with determination. "Oh yeah, little birdie? That sounds pathetic!" Kelio burst out in laughter, teased the other. Perhaps she had a plan- one that was different from what you'd expect.

"The only pathetic thing here is you." Marcos then pushed the other to the ground after kicking them in the gut. That laughter had made his ears want to bleed. He truthfully wanted to kill the other right here and now but decided against it as, of course, he didn't want any other birds to scavenge from his battle.

Kelio wasnt quite sure where to go from here. After she was pushed to the ground, the only thing she could muster up to do was basically curl up into a ball, and wait it out, hoping to god nothing else happened. Kelio wanted to burst into tears, but.. forced herself not to. This wasnt the place nor the time.
