The scent of coyote filled Whisp's nostrils, but it didn't bother him any. After a while of calm, Whisp heaved himself up, now promptly bored. As he began to walk, something crashed into him, and he let out a startled yelp, Adina shooting up in a flurry of feathers and squawks. Paws pinned him to the ground, their claws digging into his neck. "Hello, Brother!" a high-pitched voice sang maliciously. Dammit. "Get off of me, Kara," Whisp gurgled as venomously as he could. He heard his sister tsk. "You're never any fun. Cocoa, Vel, and Thorn are so much better than you." His sister stepped off, and Whisp jumped up, whirling around to face his older sister. Five years older and far more ruthless, Karma's Bitch was by far one of the most dangerous wolves in the pack, despite having no magic of her own. She ran on pure determination and anger, and would often bully her own siblings into getting what she wanted. Despite her name, she never seemed to get what she deserved. "Mother told me you were going to see someone, little Rumor! So, who's the lucky she-wolf?" Kara sang, her golden eyes sparkling with malice. "I don't think the Alphas would be very happy to know that you're sneaking out again, and so late too~!" Whisp growled, the fur on his shoulders bristling. "What I am doing is of no concern to you, Sister," he spat. A soft coo came from above, and Whisp glanced up, spotting Adina. It looked like she was slightly agitated. Copying his mother's move, Whisp flicked the tip of his tail, and Adina silenced, watching the two siblings square off. Karma clicked her tongue again. "Aw, my poor little baby Brother is embarrassed! How charming," she said. If Whisp didn't know any better, he'd've thought a forked tongue would slide out from between her lips. "That's enough, Sister. Go home." Edited at August 24, 2021 12:37 PM by The Dragonborn

Frost dropped the shrew when he heard the thud, running almost instantly over the border. Backing his newly found friend up from the shadows, the feline hissed. "Go home!" It sounded more of a growl , and intricate yellowish green eyes stared piercingly from the shadows of the large tree. Frost emerged, stalking ever so closer to the she. He was curious yet also angered, and shot Lies a dull yet threatening glance. The feline had learned alot from his part in The battle for Freedom. "Dont lay another paw on him." The felines tone was oddly low, two pools glancing up at the female. Frost was almost twice as large as your average feline, and could be a suprise to anyone. Despite what one would think, he had a few tricks up his sleeve that give him an upper hand in a battle. Yet, all Frost would do is sit ten feet back, and wait to know what they'd do next. Karma looked down her long snout at the feline that emerged from the shadows. She scoffed, but Whisp saw the flicker of fear and surprise in her golden eyes. "What an insignificant being. Is this the friend you've snuck out to see, Rumor?" she said, tilting her head at her brother. His sapphire eyes glared at her, tail lashing. "You heard him, Karma. Leave." The older she-wolf looked from her brother to the cat, before barking out a laugh. "My goodness, Rumor, you take down one fox by yourself, and you think you can take me on?" She laughed again, before lifting her lips threateningly. "I am by far stronger than you, Little Brother, not to mention older and bigger," she spat, her eyes widening as she smiled.

There it was again. That anger. The anger that fueled his ambition. "How dare you threaten me with such words!" The feline stood with an arched back, claws digging into the lush earth to keep himself firm set on the ground. A growl raised in his throat and his teeth bared. "Try it again and see what happens!" That time, an odd flicker in his eyes could be seen. Ears flattened back, a tail lashed, Frost was braced and ready to attack.

The she-wolf sneered, sitting down and curling her tail around her back paw. She lifted one of her white paws to her snout, covering a snicker. "My, what a feisty feline. Run along, little pussycat, the adults are talking," she purred, grinning at Frost and waving her paw. Whisp glanced at Frost, before looking back to his sister. Slowly, he backed out of the way. He may never have seen an alley cat fight, but that pose resembled an angered mountain cat so much that Whisp knew to stay out of the way.

Frost stared up at Karma, blankly before speaking. "Y'know, no ones ever afraid of felines until you know that you're messing with a murderer." The feline chuckled to himself, glancing down at the ground before back up at Karma. Crouching low to the ground, Frosts tail tip flicked dangerously back and forth, a warning sign of a pounce waiting to happen. Then it happened, the large cat launched himself onto the shoulder of the wolf, going straight for the back of the neck, as he knew there was no way for the wolf to reach him.

Karma let out a bark of laughter. "A murderer? A cat? Why that's so preposterous, I might just- ARGHH!" she let out a roar of fear as Frost lept forward, clinging to the back of Karma's neck. She turned in frantic circles, snapping at the feline's hindquarters, but she couldn't quite reach. Frost's claws dug into her neck, and she let out a strained whimper, shaking her head. Whisper stared in disbelief as Frost attacked his sister. He had never seen anyone else stand up to Karma, much less a cat, of all things. He stepped back, watching as his sister flailed pathetically. Perhaps he wouldn't save her. He saw a flash of his father, a ruthless ruler with an insatiable taste for blood. He remembered his full-blooded sister, little Exa, and her limp body hanging from his father's maw. He would let Frost have his way for a while, but he would intervene if Karma was too injured. He stayed out of the way, blinking down at his sister.

Frost crouched there for a minute, clinging on with his three paws worth of claws. He then bit down into the side of Karma's neck as hard as he could with yellow-green pupils fuming with a rage that was unexplainable. The feline pulled away, trying to pull a chunk of flesh with him. In a quick few motions in a fury of fur and claws, Frost would then go for her muzzle the next time she tried to snap at him.

The dark she-wolf staggered towards her brother, her golden eyes pleading, but Whisp made no movement. She let out a cry of pain as Frost bit down on her neck. She could feel the hot blood dripping down her throat. She felt her fur being ripped from her skin, and she let out another cry, before snapping at Frost. His claws dug into her muzzle, and her eyes widened in pain as she slung him forward, thrusting her head towards the ground.

Frost knew this move, but took the hit anyways. He was slammed into the ground, but used that to his advantage to scatter back up Karmas head, skidding down her back with claws unsheathed. "Take that, flea-bitten mutt!"
