Black Rose sniffed the air before walking to a small river that flowed through her patch of land and drank from it. She saw a few animals near the water and even though she was hungry, never thought of hurting them. Perhaps when they are weak. She thought before walking back to her little den that was slightly bigger than she was and laid down. She saw the piles of small bones and moved them out of the den into a hole she dug and gave the bones a little grave. "Thank you for all you have done. May you live another life that is peaceful and perfect." She spoke to the bones before covering them up and placed a flower on top. Her ears lifted up as she heard the nearby pack and sighed. Great. She thought as she walked around her little patch of land.

Chase padded out into the woods, inhaling the clean scent of pine and oak and even.... Rogue wolf? Chase's nose wrinkled as he approached the small den cautiously. "Hello? I'm not trying to hurt you... b-but you're pretty much on our land, and you hunted on our land" Pine spat the word with anger. "Shut up Pine" Chase rumbled affectionately, before turning back to the den, "Please come where we can see you"

Black Rose walked over to the two and flicked her tail. "Actually, you are on my land. I had to fight for this little land that I own." She said and then growled a warning. "I did not hunt on your land. That rabbit grew up here and I would know. I take care of the animals that house their homes here. Unlike you pack wolves that just kill without a second thought. All you think about is yourselves and that's not good for you or the animals you hunt." She saw a mouse skitter into its home after seeing the two other wolves and she sighed. "See? You're scaring the animals." Leave before I have to kill another wolf. She thought. I don't want to do that. At least one of them seems nice.

Chase glared at Pine, "You are right about the pack wolf hunting theory. Some packs only think about themselves. But our pack is the same as you. We shall leave you be now, Right Pine?" Chase snapped at her. Pine nodded, before glaring at the rogue. "Sorry about her, she's always in a bad mood. My pack is small, I'm the alpha, and I make sure we only kill what we need to survive on. I will leave you in peace now, we live by the Crystal Pool, come to us if you ever need anything" Chase offered kindly, before growling at Pine and wandering off.

Black Rose looked at Chase and hummed. "Name's Black Rose, by the way!" She called out before thinking about the alpha's offer. Maybe I will. She thought before walking around her patch of land and then sighed. "Fine." She shrugged and then ran after the two wolves. Just for a little while. She told herself. Not to worry, right? The alpha gave me permission. She gulped down a nervous cough.

"Name's Chase!" Chase called over his shoulder, hearing his paw steps behind him he slowed to a slow walk. Pine grunted her frustration. "Alpha's word is law" Chase reminded her strictly as he waited for Black Rose to catch up to them. "You leave, I'm afraid you're going to bite my head off when I offer something to her" he growled. Pine hung her head and padded off, going for a swim in their pool.

Black Rose saw that he slowed down and ran over to him and slowed down to match his pace. "What are you offering me?" She asked as she heard him mutter something about offering something to her. She flicked her ear as she looked at him more closely. He was a lot different than what she thought but she didn't look at him for very long as she thought it was rude.

"Notin' as of right now, but I will do what I can if ya' ask me" Chase replied, "I'll let ya' stay for as long as ye' want. If you wish. Oh, and also.. before I forget to mention, ignore Pine. She's mighty nice when you know er', but can be seen as agressive, which I can understand" he snorted. He led the way to a crystal clear pool, about seven feet deep and twenty feet in diameter. "This is the Crystal Pool. Over here," He led the way around the pool and to a sheltered clearing, "Are the dens. Alphas' sleep here, pups and mothers here and the rest... here" he flicked his tail at each den as he mentioned them.

Black Rose looked at him again and nodded. "Alright, by why are you telling me this?" She asked him with a flick of her ear. She didn't understand much about packs as she was left on her own since she was young. Probably why she liked staying by herself. "This pool here, do you use it to drink?" She asked and sniffed the air. "Oh, and it's okay. I'm used to it by now." She sighed. Finally. She thought.

"Incase you ever needed our help, better save then sorry, honest" Chase replied honestly. "Yes, we use it to drink and when it's way to warm to bear we sometimes go for a swim, when it rain's the pool ere' overflows and forms a river. So the water in the pool is constantly clean" he explained.
