Whilst Valerii slept, bad dreams popped into her head. Showing her things that would happen. But not the consequences of those actions. Val whimpered in her sleep, gripping onto Sam, hugging him tighter, only to then wake up sweaty and nearly screaming. " I cant do this" she mumbled as she sat up, looking at literal darkness.

Catching her breath, Val then slowly got up and headed to the bathroom to cool herself off. Cold water to her face and neck, then headed back into the bed, staying up, leaning her head agaisnt the wall. Texting with her dad, even though she knew in her head that it was a toxic thing to do at this point.

Sam was peacefully asleep when he felt the weight in the bed dip down and back up again. He stirred awake and glanced up, to see Valerii sitting up with her head resting against the headboard. Sam rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't imagining it before slowly sitting up, grunting a little. "Hey, you okay?" He spoke quietly, his voice husk and deep from only just waking up. Sam was very tired, but by the look on Valerii's face, he needed to stay awake to figure out what was on her mind. He glanced at the clock. 2:37am. He sighed deeply and gazed back to Valerii waiting for her reply.

"I just cant sleep, Sam. A dream came to me, showing me something dreadful..." her eyes dropped a few tears but she wiped them away before looking towards him " Am I a bad person, Sam? What do you see in me?" Valerii's voice was cracky and dry "I fear the worst, Sam. And I just dont know how to keep it from haunting me. Its a very special day today and I....I need something to do to keep my mind from wandering in the wrong direction" Val then scooted closer to Sam, letting out a sigh and resting her head on his. Wanting his closeness more than anything.

Sam frowned softly, sitting up a liftle more so his back was resting against the headboard. He listened to her as she spoke, closing his eyes briefly before turning back to look at her. "Valerii listen, I promise you that you're a good person. You're doing the right thing and I'm sure those dreams are just about you worrying if you've made the right decision. But I can promise you that you are," he said sincerely to her, watching as she moved closer to him. He wrapped his strong arms around her and pulled her onto his lap, using one hand to gently stroke her hair. Sam leaned down, kissing the top of her head gently and closing his eyes. "It will get better," he whispered as he continued to stroke her hair gently.

Valerii sighed as she sat in his lap, looking at him through the darkness. Strong arms wrapped themselves around her, protecting her, and a kiss was left on her forehead. Val sniffled as her breathing slowed down. Her chest and head leaned forward so that she was touching Sam even more. Still worried about her dream. Her arms stayed on his chest, somewhat keeping him pinned, but still able to move if need be. " You're the best things thats happened to me, Sam." Her voice still cracky as her words left her lips.

Her fingers made thair way to his face, before leaning her head down to kiss him. Something she found that calmed her down when her dreams got bad.

Sam kept her close, knowing that it was somewhat helpful to her as she calmed down. He smiled gently as she kept still, only their breathing could be heard in the room. He continued to be gentle with her, but keeping a strong grip to keep her in his arms. Sam sighed deeply, being silent for a moment before she spoke up. He lifted his head slowly and was a little shocked by her words. But he appreicated them nonetheless. Sam leaned in towards her and gave her a gentle kiss back on the lips. He smiled softly as he pulled away and rested his forehead against hers. "You think you can go back to sleep?" He asked, still playing with a lock of her hair as he held her.

" I...I think so, Sam.." Valerii replied back " Thank you.. I promise this wont happen often." The kiss was the one thing she needed before giving him a tight hug before snuggling back under the covers beside him. This time her head rested in his chest and left arms on him. She HAD to make sure he was there for her to be able to sleep. And she did. For the rest of the night. And by morning, she forgot everything about the dream. Only remembering about the kiss.

Valerii was the first one up that special morning. Giving Sam the casual cheek kiss to his face before getting out of bed. Her hair brushed and ready to head back to her dads house to pack up her things and bring them back. As she waited for Sam to wake up, she scrolled through her phone, seeing that she had a lot of hate messages from her Gang members saying that they wanted her back.

Sam nodded, gently taking her off his lap and back onto the mattress. He pushed himself back down to the pillow and he held her in a tight embrace to help her sleep. He quickly fell back to sleep, as he was only half asleep when the whole situation happened in the first place.

The morning after, Sam woke to see Valerii busy in the bathroom getting ready. He glanced down at the clock as it read 7:45am. He yawned tiredly, pushing himself up on his elbows and swinging his legs off the side of the bed. Sam stood up slowly, looking over to Valerii. "Morning you feeling okay?" He asked and headed into the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face.

" Im feeling like I could rule the world, Sam. I couldnt feel better" Her smile grew as she watched him get out of bed. THere was something satifying when it came to him brushing his hair. Well, getting ready in general.

" I have to be away from you for a long time today, Sam... You have school yet again and you know how I feel about seperation..." Biting her lip as she leaned against the door, watching him get ready. " Also I have to stop back to my group again something came up and I have to fix the issue."

Nothing was going to stop her from being where she trully wanted to be. Even if it cost her own life. " I'll have everything packed and ready to go. " Hey... would your dad be ok in picking me up once I get done at my dads?"

Sam smiled, glad that she was feeling better than last night. He continued getting ready, finishing up with brushing his teeth and washing his face. He patted his face dry and glanced back to her where she was now standing in the doorway. He walked over to her, gently placing his hands on either side of her waist. "Well it won't be long until we can have dinner," he said with a small smirk, leaning down and giving her a soft kiss before pulling away.

After a moment he moved past her and into the bedroom to pick out his clothes. He pulled off his shirt and grabbed another one. Sam turned to face Valerii and nodded. "I'm sure my dad could pick you up. Yeah," he said before pulling his shirt over him before grabbing some jeans.
