Amara nodded. "I'm sure he still is, that is, if he's still alive" she replied. She wasnt used to having someone to talk to, and it was rather nice. She kept her pace even as she followed. "That's true, but it would have been nice to have someone else there to help me through it and not be isolated" she admitted. Sure, her powers helped her, but it could only help her so far physically. She had to admit though, thanks to Orion she was growing more and more in confidence, something she lacked for so long.

"Isolation... a dangerous inner demon to circle around you..." Orion said, his voice trailing off. It almost sounded like he was reflecting on some prior experience, but he quickly snapped out of it as they made their way to the lizardmen's domain once again. Instead of heading to the training ground, this time around Lor-re was standing at the entrance patiently waiting for them. "Good to see you two!" He said with a pep in his step. There were two symbols painted on his chest near his heart... no doubt something related to healing magic. "I assume you're my new student?" He said, turning to Amara. Orion nodded and turned to her. "Is there anything else that you want to talk abotu before I turn you over to Lor-re?"

Amara listened to Orion's voice fade off, wanting to know more, but she wasnt going to press. When a new face was shown to her, she smiled. "I am" she replied when he asked if she was his new student. "Nice to meet you." She looked back at Orion before she shook her head. "No. I know you have buisness to attend to, and all it is for me is small talk and learning more about this place, but it can wait until later" she assured him before she turned to Lor-re. "I am ready" she told him.

"Very well. Lor-re? I hope that you are as good of a teacher as Isekara and Enivera has been for Amara. I'll have to deal with handling the construction of the new den for the werewolves, so if you need something from me, seek out Sokoya and tell her what's going on." He nodded towards Lor-re and left, leaving the lizardman with Amara. "Now... I will be your teacher to try to cultivate and empower your healing powers. But before we begin, explain to me exactly how your powers work and what kind of what of effect it has on you after the fact." He casually messed with the feathers tied to his necklace as he spoke, trying to stay serious as he spoke.

Amara looked at Lor-re before she spoke. "If I need to heal myself, it doesnt take too much energy, all I do is place my hand over the wound and it heals quickly. If it's on others, it takes a little longer, and drains me quicker. Unfortunately if a wound is too large, I end up passing out." She wasnt sure if that was enough for him to go off of for her training, but that was as far as she ever really got with her healing.

Lor-re merely nodded as Amara talked. "So it sounds like healing internally isn't much of a problem, but tranferring your power from yourself to another drains your energy noticably faster. Interesting." He scratched the bottom of his scaly chin before beginning to walk to his tent, which served as the medicine tent for the lizardmen. Within the tent is an assortment of potions and cures for a variety of problems, but there were also a few books that had information of helaing magic, filled with information written in the lizardmen dialect. He took out the book and opened it and flipped through the pages, trying to see what kind of healing magic most closely resembled Amara's, and sure enough he found it before looking back up at his student. "We're definitely going to have to work on builidng your endurance as you're using the magic, which will only happen through careful but repeated use, and we also need to see whether or not your healing power can become more powerful." He was about to dive deeper into his lesson, but a female walked over and tapped his shoulder. He turned around and was pleasantly surprised by who it was, his tail waving and slightly betraying his true emotions. After a quick talk with her, Lor-re turned around and recomposed himself for Amara. "Sorry about that, Mikki needed to talk to me about the herbs I needed. Are you ready for the lesson?"

Amara listened closely, though she did wonder how she would gain the repetition without someone getting hurt, and that was something she didnt want to happen, even if it was bound to happen. She was about to ask when someone walked in, and she saw the change in Lor-re's form. A small smile formed, and when he apologized she shook her head. "It's alright" she told him before she nodded. "I am ready" she said, forgetting to ask about what he meant with the repetiton and how it would happen.

"Okay..." Lor-re looked down at the book to refocus from Mikki to training Amara in her healing abilities. "Let's begin by working on your healing of others. Let's take it slow since you say that it drains you quickly." He walked over before bringing out a knife and carefully sliding it along his palm, making a small wound before extending it to her. "I want you to heal my hand. Do what you need to get ready." He was patient; the wound was barely drawing any blood, so it didn't really matter if she had to take a moment to get ready.

Amara tensed up when he pulled out a knife, and watched what he did with the blade. For a small wound she didn't need much time to gather herself, though it was more over the shock of what he did. She reached forward and placed a hand over her wound before whe closed her eyes. After a few seconds, she pulled away and looked at Lor-re, wondering how she did.

Lor-re looked at his hand and was pleased by how his hand was healed. "Good job. Let's get onto something a bit more specific..." And with that, the lesson was in full swing, with Lor-re leaning on his book and his prior experiences with the magic to lead the lesson and teach Amara with her healing magic. In another part of the dungeon, Orion was staring at a group of skeletons as they worked alongside a group of zombies to move materials. Skeletons were always his go to when it came to complex tasks while zombies were the muscle of the group, allowing heavy materials to be moved in large quantities. By Orion's side is the werewolf that confronted him, and she was looking at all of the work moving and she couldn't help but grin. "I appreciate your consistency when it comes to making good on your promises." She said to him, seeing the skeletons moving different things into position. "A word of a leader can be stronger than the sharpest sword when it holds true more often than not." He replied. (Want to skip to after the lesson?)
