Black Rose smiled. She laughed. "I think you would make a good loner, Chase." She said and nuzzled him with her nose. Her tail wagged happily as she looked at him. He had her heart and she didn't mind it. She liked it, in fact. "Alright then. Dear alpha, what do you want to do when your pack decides to finally piece together what's happening between us?"

Chase hadn't thought of it yet, "Hmph. I dunno, I'd tell them the truth, they're my friends, they deserve to know the truth, I wouldn't lie if they guessed."

Black Rose hummed. "That sounds like you." She said and snuggled up to him. "Even if.. you have to tell Pine?" She asked. Her voice was quiet and worriful.

Chase growled when Pine was mentioned, "Yes, even if I have to tell her. If she so much as hurts a hair on your pelt, I swear" he snarled, his neck fur standing up cautiously.

Black Rose whimpered. "Chase." She shook her head. "She won't be able to hurt me, dear." She said and then licked his head to calm him down. "I'm too strong for her to even close. Plus I have you to make sure I don't go overboard." She laughed.

"Alrighty, I think I'm down with that" Chase wagged. He stared again at the crystal and felt Rose's brother's spirit, even though he never knew him in life.

Black Rose smiled. "I think my brother would love you." She said and looked at the crystal. "I mean.. He would trust me in my decision. I think." She giggled. "He was nice. I miss him." She looked down and felt a wave of sadness wash over her before she looked at him and felt better.

Chase nuzzled her as she felt her sudden sadness, "I'm sure my parents would trust you as well... they'd like you.."

Black Rose smiled. "I hope so! If they're anything like you, I think they'd be amazing." She said and nuzzled him again and stuck out her tongue a little.

Chase smiled, "Thanks, I don't know what the blep was for, but I'll take the complement!" he rumbled, blushing.
