She crossed her arms with a scoff and said, *Look, I'm not gonna sit around and be bored! I need to do something!* She looked up at him and said, *Im not dying.*

Lucas looked at her and almost dropped her but decided against it. "I don't care, I'm not letting you get hurt again!" He yelled, which surprised him. He paused everything for a second but then shook his head. "You could have if we didn't get to the hospital when we did." He said and looked like he was hurt.

She flinched when he began yelling, definitely not expecting it. She looked down and said, *I know, I know. I've been in enough sticky situations and have scars to tell the story.* She gently rested a hand on his chest and said, *But I'm a fighter and not going anywhere yet.*

Lucas breathed in slowly. "Alright, fine. But I'm still carrying you around." He said as he calmed himself down. "I'm not letting you get hurt again today." He said as he glared at some people as they walked by. "We all have scars, some visible and some not." He told her before he started to walk past the crowds of walking people.

She blushed softly as some people looked at her. This was definitely a moment where she was glad she kept her hero work a secret. *I still think that you worry too much.*

Lucas walked faster after a while. "Would you rather me not care at all?" He asked her before he came up to a large building and quickly jumped up it using wall climbing techniques. After reaching the top he sat down and kept her close to him.

*No, it's a surprising thing that I like. But again, I'm not to being carried halfway across town. Call me as stubborn as you like, but any injury is just something I'll deal with later cause well I know I'm gonna be okay.*

Lucas looked at her. "Fine, then I'll just follow you around whenever you go around to make sure you're okay." He said with a slight annoyance. "You may get so hurt one day that you won't be able to do anything about what will happen after it and that- that stresses me!" He groaned.

*I don't want to be treated like some kind of child!* She slightly pulled him close and said, *Look at me, don't you think I can handle myself? You call me smal, and it...it makes me think that you think so little of me. That hurts me in another way.* She sighed and let him go as she moved back.

Lucas looked at her. "You're not a child! You're someone who just gets hurt so much and it tears me up inside!" He said and then clenched his hands into fists. "I don't think that, trust me, please." He ran his hands through his hair before he sighed. "I'd never think of that, you silly, silly girl."
