Amara woke with a start, gasping for air as she looked around. Slowly she calmed herself and got ready to head out. She knew she had more training to do that day and wanted to show them she wouldn't be late just because of some bad dreams. She left her room, heading in the direction of the throne room when she heard voices speaking. When one mentioned humans and killing her, her heart skipped a beat. She kept to the shadows, trying to stay hidden as she listened in. She knew they wouldn't like her there, and knew this was bound to happen. Slowly she moved to be in view of Orion, but wasn't sure if the others would notice either by smell or sight. *Would I be allowed to say anything? Would I be allowed to voice my side of this? No human would think I'm alive, or care* she thought.

Orion and the werewolf went back and forth in regards to Amara's fate within the dungeon. Even though Orion had a sharp tongue and was quick with responses, the werewolf was matching his wit. His changes in his body language was subtle as he sat on the throne; something that he refined after many a talk with monsters, but the werewolf was unmoved. While the two were having a verbal joust, the other werewolf standing by her side was looking about, and by pure chance he spotted Amara within the shadows. He placed a hand on her shoulder and whispered something to her and her eyes went wide. "You would even have the nerve of making her eavesdrop in on the conversation?! It looks like you have more trust in a human than the rest of us!" As soon as she finished the other werewolf dived into the shadows and grabbed Amara, lifting her off the floor and setting her down in front of the she-wolf. "If I didn't know any better... I would think that you're becoming soft towards the humans." She said with a growl at the end, clamping her hands on Amara's shoulders to make sure she didn't make a break for it.

Amara gave a startled gasp when they grabbed her, not daring to fight them. "Please, I'm not like those other humans that come here for anything. I know you said something about other humans looking for me but they won't. My father sold me to that pathetic group who came here to steal from you. If anything they think I'm dead since they didn't know about what I can do" she said, hoping they would hear her out, but she knew it was a small chance. "I can help you all if I'm given the chance. I want nothing to do with any of those humans that want to hurt any of you or steal from you. What they do isn't right or fair." She looked at her feet, assuming they wouldn't believe what she was saying, and why would they?

The werewolf holding Amara growled at her, digging her claws into her shoulder ever so slightly to silence her. "Stay quiet human. Unless you want to become my next meal." She bared her teeth at Amara before looking up at Orion, who didn't change his demeanor but was slowly losing his mental edge over the werewolf. Now that Amara was in clear danger, he wanted to end the argument as quickly as possible, but if he was too hasty, then he may leave open the opportunity for the werewolf to bargain and gain from him. He sighed and tilted his head at Amara, wondering why she wanted to put herself into this situation. "Her powers show promise, and it will take time to cultivate them into something extraordinary... you may see a human, but I see someone that can become a powerful force and a reliable hand by my side." He said flatly, slightly showing his hand to the werewolf to strongarm into a more favorable situation. "And I am not going to let anyone or anything threaten that future." He stood up and walked straight at the werewolf, and even though the werewolf had more than a foot on him, Orion wanted to intimidate her into backing down. "Need I remind you that I've been welcoming of all monsters to this dungeon, including you, and yes Amara is a human, but the human world sees no value of her, so what difference does it make?" The werewolf had to hold back a laugh from this statement. "She's a human!! They all think that we're inferior and not worthy of life, from a newborn babe to their oldest king! She has to die!"

Amara winced when the claws dug into her, drawing some blood. "You've dealt with the wrong humans if you think they all think you are not worthy of life." She felt the one werewolf back down and placed her hand on her shoulder, healing the small wound they gave her. "I won't lie, I find you all interesting and want to learn more, but I would never want to harm anyone or see anyone as unworthy of life." She tried to hide her fear. *They are acting no better than humans themselves* she thought, but refused to say so since it might set them off.

The werewolf was on the verge of laughing from Amara's words. "I'm sorry, but are you trying to joke at a time like this? As if you really want to know about us." She was about to talk further to Orion, but one monster from the group stepped out, or more specifically hovered from the group and made its way to Amara. It was a Spectre, a type of undead that was invisible, only holding a form thanks to the robe it wore. It placed an invisible hand on Amara's head and focused the energy, trying to sense if she was in fact telling the truth. "She speaks the truth..." It said with an airy voice, stunning the werewolf. "Maybe she deserves a chance if Orion has faith in her..." The werewolf instinctively swiped at the Spectre's 'head', but it didn't connect with anything as expected. Orion nodded towards the Spectre before turning back to the werewolf. "What do you want from me wolf?" Orion said through gritted teeth. She stared down at him before grinning slightly. "Well... I want a new den. My mate and I are expecting pups." Orion's mood shifted slightly at this new development. "I may not be showing yet, but a lizardmen was able to confirm thanks to her powers, so now I need a new den to house the future pups. You do care for our future, right?" A few of the monsters could be heard in support of this statement. With a sigh Orion looked at the group before nodding his head. "Very well. I'll task my skeletons to assist you in building a new den for your future family." With a grin she carefully let go of Amara. "Don't think that this is over. If she slips up she will be eaten alive... I may not be the one, but I'm sure that others will."

Amara looked towards the creature, just seeing the robe. When she felt something touch her head she stiffened up, but didn't move otherwise. "I would never lie about wanting to learn about others or being curious about anything" she said. When the female spoke about her being eaten alive she looked at her. "While I don't blame you all for being hesitant, all I ask is I'm given a chance" she said as she glanced at the others. She assumed they wouldn't give her one, but she only hoped they would. Closing her eyes she faced where the invisible creature seemed to be from the robe. "Thank you. You may have just given me a chance I would not have gotten otherwise."

The Spectre looked at Amara and nodded. "You're welcome..." The Spectre left without another word, and soon the other monsters left as well, leaving only the female werewolf. She stared daggers at Amara and Orion before leaving in silence, leaving only Amara, Orion and Sokoya in the throne room. Now that the situation was dealt with, Orion breathed a sigh of relief and walked to Amara's side. "Are you okay? It looks like the claw marks were healed nicely thanks to your magic. And... sorry if I sounded like I didn't care. If the werewolf knew that I did actually care at all then she would be bolder against me. You can't reveal anything to the monsters, especially werewolves." He breathed a sigh of relief. "Do you want to go to the training session today or do you want to hold off until tomorrow because of all that happened?"

Amara looked at Orion when everyone left. "I'm alright. Surprisingly enough I had wounds worse than this from other humans" she replied before she shook her head. "You were being their leader, not their friend. I understand." With a small sigh, she debated weather or not she should train. "As much as a day off would probably do me good, it wouldn't look good if I didn't train after what happened would it" she asked. She rubbed her shoulder a bit before she had a hint of determination in her eyes. "More than ever I have to show them I'm not like other humans. I won't give up so easily, and that I don't want to hurt them, but rather help them." She wasn't sure if the others could hear her at all, but almost hoped they could.

"Okay... If you think that you are capable of going through the day and doing your training with Lor-re, then it will be done." He took a second before adding "Your feistyness and willingness is much appreciated Amara... It seems that every day you give me more and more reasons to be thankful in sparing you. Thanks." He returned to the throne and took a seat. "There is a little time before the training starts, so if you have anything on your mind that you want to talk about, now's the time to talk." Sokoya looked at Orion, trying to figure him out as usual. So... has he fallen for her yet? I wouldn't be surprised if that was a contributing factor.
