Em nuzzled him back " Yeah. Im better. Leg still hurts, but that hasnt stopped me, now has it?" She chuckled as she looekd into his eyes. " I will bring my daughters here, Mikael. With the help of Hunter. I still dont know if I should go along with him. " she out a paw on Mikaels head to let him know that she would be fine. She knew she would be.

Meanwhile...

Dove and Stardust were woken up by their father to get somethings done around the den. Hoping to distract them from their mother. He didnt know that Hunter and and Em would be coming later that day to get the girls back. And to safety.

" Do you think mother will come for us, Star?" Dove asked as she workd on her assignment for her father, Getting tired every few minutes.

" I hope so, Im tired of being treated like this." Star said with a sigh as she breifly stopped to take a break. But then got back at work for the last hour.

After deliberating with Clay and Daria for some time, Hunter was ready to meet with Lilac. Hunter met up with Em, who was with Mikael at this time. "If you're ready to go, then let's head off." Mikael and Em nodded and they left. Em took the lead, leading Hunter and Mikael on their way back to her old home. Hunter was stern in his expression, but Mikael wasn't as confident. Hopefully Lilac won't tear us apart upon first sight... but will he order his pack to kill Em when he sees her again? Will... will I be able to protect her if things break down? Mikael nervously walked along with Em, slowly beginning to panic as they drew nearer and nearer to Em's old pack.

Em was confident that she would get her daughters back. When she finally reached her old territory, she stopped. " Dove? Stardust? Where are you?" she sked walking through her old territory. But when she heared that Hunter and Mikael were following, she turned to them " no.. you stay back. I'll let you know if I-" but she never finished her sentance

" You again, Em?" Lilac's voice rang out. " You know what the rule was if you came back here?" he had a grin on his face.

Her daughters came out and ran to their mother, but Lilac snarled to keep them at bay.

Em snarled back " Lilac. Im done with everything you have done to me and my life. I am sick of it. Im taking my girls back." She could hear them whining. But she ignored them and focused her eyes on Lilac " You hurt them. And I cant let it continue. Im sorry, Lilac. "

She looked at her girls and told them to get behind her.

The girls trotted forward and went behind them, eyes on their father.

" You will never hurt my girls again. I may not be an Alpha again, but I will do everything in my power to keep them safe. Away from your harm." she then turned around and nodded towards Hunter " Lets go home. Things are about to change for the better"

She walked beside Mikael, with her daughters on the other side of her. " Time to make a new home for ourselves" she said to Mikael. " A brand new life awaits."

Mikael nodded and they left, with Mikael occasionally looking over his shoulder to make sure that they weren't being followed by Lilac or anyone else. I'm surprised. Lilac just... let them go. I thought Lilac would make a fuss about it, but I guess he wants nothing to do with Em's daughters anymore. He looked over at Em, who was beaming with happiness upon getting her daughters back and away from him. I'm glad we didn't have to resort to violence. Now we don't have to worry about Lilac harming Stardust or Dove any time soon. Mikael grinned as Em's daughters were more than excited in reunited with their mom, before looking up and seeing Hinter leaf them back home. Hopefully this could be what we need to stop butting heads as much. Up in front Hunter continued walking, occasionally looking to make sure Em's daughters were keeping up. Em seems overjoyed by this, and I didn't have to give anything for them. Looks like Daria was right once again. Hunter chuckled as this was added onto the list of things that his mate was right about. Hopefully now that she has her daughter's back, we won't clash as much from here on out. Soon enough they made it back home, with everyone else in the pack waiting for them to arrive. Daria was overjoyed that they all came back with Em's daughters in tow, Clay was relieved that they merely weren't hurt, Makayla couldn't help but smile at how joyful Em was, and Makayla's pups were excited upon seeing new faces in the pack.

" Ok girls. go on and rest. I want to talk to Hunter about your roles here. They will be tedius. But Im here to help you. I promise" she nuzzled both of them before looking at Mikael " you can come too, Mikael. Im not leaving you out on anything any more." she chuckled " Hunter.. I want to thank you for letting my daughters join. I know its not what you would have wanted, but I couldnt let them get used my their father." she gave a pause looking behind her to where Dove and Stardust were at talking. Then looked back at Hunter " If they disobey... Let me handle the punishments for them. They dont trust any one right now, other than me... once they get acustomed to being in a new pack, then... and only then will they opbey their new Alpha" she knew what shew as saying. She would never regret any of it " I suggest we have a hearty meal to welcome them. And talk things over about the rules and jobs, Hunter. Just so they dont get into trouble."

She then looked at Mikael and smirked " Then you and I have to have some free time tonight after the meal, to talk over something else"

(Oh gee... Whatever could she mean? :P)

Hunter agreed that it was a time to celebrate, so he tasked Clay and asked Daria to get the pack a sizable meal. They agreed and went off. "You're their mother Em, so punishments for Star and Dove will be left up to you. Also, I figured that your daughters will be untrusting of the pack to start, so I will give them time to adjust. As for their jobs and their roles in the pack... I would actually like your input on that since you're their mother. Of course, I may assign them a different role, but some input from you about their strengths and weaknesses will certainly go a long way."

" I'll talk to you about all that tonight, in private, Alpha. I want them asleep before getting them started" Em began " I rarely disciplined them to be honest. I never really had to. I always let them do what they wanted. But.. thats beside the point. I know them more than anyone here. So things shouldnt be too hard. Friendships would go by fast, especially with the little ones"

She just stayed silent after that. She didnt want anyone else to hear what she was going to say to Hunter. Mikael would found out later.

Hunter nodded and instructed Clay and Daria to find some food for the celebration tonight. They left and everyone went about their business for some time until Daria and Clay returned. They spoke to Hunter and he howled for everyone to gather around him. "Today we celebrate the arrival of the two newest members of the Shadow Hearts: Dove and Stardust." Em's daughters nodded as Hunter continued. "And to celebrate this, I instructed Clay and Daria to hunt for some food. Could you two take us to what you were able to catch?" They both nodded and lead the pack to what they were able to hunt. "Luckily for us we came across an Elk with an injured leg, so that was good. We also hunted down a doe as well." Hunter thanked them for their efforts and, after the Alphas took a piece for themselves, the rest dug in, with everyone eating their fill. Having satisfied their stomachs and after bringing back the remains and burying them, they continued into the night by wrestling each other, making light hearted jokes, and generally having a good time. Even Hunter was getting in on the fun, challenging his mate to a wrestling match only to lose, but he still had fun even in defeat. Soon enough, the festive mood came to an end and everyone prepared for the evening. Makayla watched over her pups as they jockeyed for position so they wouldn't be a pillow for one of their siblings, Em put Stardust and Dove to bed. After making sure they were asleep, Daria left the den and found Hunter waiting outside. "If you're ready, let's go and talk about your daughters' role in the pack moving forward."

Em sighed as she walked into the Alpha's den for the first time since she arrived " Alpha?" she asked stopping just at the mout of the den. SHe waited til he allowed her to come into the den and to sit beside him. She soon walked in and sat in front of him. " About my daughters..." she said with a long pause " Dove loves to explore a lot. So best to keep an eye on her since she can walk off . She can alsp be a little rude towards her sister. Stardust on the other hand, is the total opposite. She loves her sister to death. Very protective if she gets hurt. WOnt go anywhere unless she knows whats good to eat other than meat. Hates to do jobs. May be aggressive towards new pack memebers though. So be strict with her if you have to be" She looked at her Alpha " What else is there you need to know? Im sure there is, but I cant think of anything else at this point."

Hunter closed his eyes and thought about what she said before opening them. "Actually, I think I have enough information. Thank you Em." Em nodded and she walked out of the Alpha's den and found Mikael. "You said you wanted to talk to me about something earlier. Well, the pups are asleep and it looks like you're free, so let's go on a walk and talk about what's on your mind." Mikael began walking, with Em catching up to him. The moonlight bathed the two wolves as they walked through the wilderness.
